1.0 out of 5 stars Not for smaller wrists, April 6, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Definitely not for smaller wrists. Perhaps useful if you have large hands and already have a fitbit one. Also, the algorythm will miscount the steps.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as helpful as I thought, February 21, 2015

Not as helpful as I thought it would be- it's better to learn the transliteration in the gongyo booklet and follow the guides in Youtube.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good app for relaxing., August 10, 2012

A good game for only $1. Worth the money and time spent. Great sound quality as well. One wouldn't normally associate technology with zen, but this app seems to work.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun collector piece, October 9, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I pre-ordered this as a treat to myself. It is a fun collector's edition. The one thing is the price, but you get what you paid for- at about $65, not $100 as listed on the box.! The vault works smoothly and the effect is evocative. The sound is a bit overdone, but by removing the battery, it works without the lights and sound. The inserted extras are clever, especially Qui Gon's padawan braid, and put you in the Star Wars universe.

The book itself is well written. the illustrations are beautiful and colorful. The comments by the previous 'owners' are clever and fun. Makes me want to read more about the Force.

A perfect gift for a Jedi fan or collector.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very handy pedometer- one can carry it easily all the time, August 12, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was pleased to be able to find a pedometer that didn't have to be clipped to a waistband. Omron is a good brand (I have one of their older pedomters) The pedometer reads pretty accurately when I have compared it with the other pedometers I own (an older Omron, and the Nintendo DS personal trainer, walking). I have carried it while running and it even gives a rough estimate of calories burned and distance covered by active walking/running. One can use it even tucked under one's clothes if one is dressed up.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice case to protect the DSi XL- a sleek look too, August 12, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

The case fits perfectly on my DSi XL and it looks great too. I was hoping the stylus would be aluminum, it's made of a same-colored plastic though. Games play well with it on too.

2.0 out of 5 stars Useful case, but not really worth the money, August 12, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

Rather cheaply made and won't convince anyone it is a real book if anyone looks close. We need a case that can hold one's favorite games along with the DSI XL

2.0 out of 5 stars Actual training isn't bad, but approach is juvenile for an adult user, March 14, 2009
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The idea of basic drilling of math is a good one and the idea of filling out the grid and playing the games is good. What would turn this into a great game rather than a good game is the ability for an adult user to not only include this in their profile, but to also turn off the cartoonish encouragement meant for children. I particularly found the teacher's wobbling face as he 'spoke' annoying. I just wanted to play the games.

1.0 out of 5 stars Content may be good but Kindle version is useless, March 14, 2009
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This isn't a proper e-book. It obviously is just a raw OCR scan without any human 'cleaning up'. I feel I should be given a proper copy for my Kindle when it's appropriately formatted. Riddled with misspellings and 'junk'. Especially when dealing with mathematics formatting is key, otherwise the book is unreadable.

Because of this, I am unable to review the actual content of the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great music, format needs work, November 2, 2008
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review covers two things. 1, the format and 2, the content (the music)

1. The idea of using a reusable USB drive to sell music is a great idea, since many people like me just rip CDs to our computer anyway. The way that the mp3 files were loaded on the drive wasn't well planned. I needed to update the names of the files so they would just show the song names on my mp3 player and not have the number of the song as well.

2. The music is terrific though. I was expecting maybe one or two really good songs. I was pleased to find the whole album was as good as the old Beatles music I've always enjoyed. The namesake song 'Liverpool 8' was especially touching. Anyone can relate to the sentiment of knowing that one needs to leave 'home' to achieve what one desires.
