4.0 out of 5 stars Solid debut by Canadian Author Chantel Seabrook, June 20, 2015
This review is from: Cara's Twelve (Kindle Edition)
The author was kind enough to gift me an ARC. A very solid debut by a new voice in fiction. The book is a mash of fantasy and erotica and should appeal to a wide audience. I don't want to give any more away as this would spoil the story and we really can't have that now can we. I wish Chantel the best in her writing career and believe she has a promising future ahead.

Respectfully,

4.0 out of 5 stars A promising new voice in Fantasy Fiction, January 30, 2015
Great intro story from a new voice in independent publishing. My only qualm with the book was sometimes Mr. Humphrey would drop in a fact about a character without any build-up. But in no way does this diminish the fine writing or ambitious plot. Four Solid Stars!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great debut novel for new author, October 5, 2013
This review is from: The Earthen (Kindle Edition)
S.A. Cary's debut novel starts with a bang and is a worthy edition to fantasy and apocalypic fiction. The story takes off and introduces a wide range of believable characters that are sure to attract a wide audience. Good prose and and an interesting plot also add to the storyline.

I really don't want to give the story away so you'll just have to find out for yourself.

I found myself looking forward to the next book in the series. I'm told it will be available next spring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful treatment of Turkey's Greatest Hero, August 25, 2013
Having been raised in a Turkish family and growing up admiring Ataturk and his acomplishments, I must say I've been looking forward to this book for quite some time. Having been a collector of Osprey books for many years I was thrilled to see someone devoting a Command Series book on Ataturk. Who is Ataturk you ask? Only the greatest Turk who ever lived. This book documents Ataturk's rise as an excellent combat officer in the Ottoman military during World War I, and how his leadership helped Turkey win its war of independence in the 1920s. Lots of great black-and-white and color photographs make this a book worthy of Ataturk's legacy.

Hats off to the writer who took the time and effort to introduce Turkey's legendary leader to a new generation of readers. 5-stars!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny...funny...funny, July 20, 2013
If you're looking to improve your writing, look no further. This book is chock full of great advice. Hey I should know, it really helped improve my writing. The authors use comedy to crack you up and take notice of their wise words. Man it helped me, and as a debut novelist I recommend it to every writer out there. Also please check out the website/blog of my upcoming novel THE LEOPARD VANGUARD. [...]

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Introduction to the Roman way of life, January 9, 2004
This book is a great place to start for anyone who's curious about expanding their knowledge of the Romans. It starts off with the Beginnings of the Roman Republic and goes through the eventual sucession of Emperors and their heirs. Also talks about the sexcapades and offers personal insights of each highlighted Emperor. The book concludes with the decline and fall of the empire and the Barbarian Invasions. My only complaint that fails to make it a 5 star selection is the lack of depth of each period of the Empire. But then again it is an idiots guide and a great starting point for anyone who wants to learn more about one of the greatest and most influential empires in world history.
