The mount is a little wonky. However, all is good once it is secure on the strobe's bayonet. The coating is perfectly matte and textured the way it's supposed to be; light is easy to shape . Diffuser is a tad big, but it won't fall off.
My modeling light won't fit, but I kind of expected that.

A little bit large with the ID window inserted. But it's good for traditional non-slim wallets. Material feels expensive and premium.

Covert Affairs Season 1

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun show to watch, June 2, 2014
It's well done and clever once in a while. It has a light, not too serious feel most of the time. The seriousness is applied when characters struggle to retain their moral high ground in the face of bureaucracy.

I've only had a few days with these. But so far they seem like they are built with a good quality. The fit and comfort is excellent after wearing them around the house, to work, a few miles of jogging, and finally at the gym.

I think it's the gentlest of re-masters. I usually cringe when I hear "re-master" because studios just bump up the audio levels for kids and their cheap stereos. Don't worry about it, this is great. It comes over Amazon's MP3 service just fine.

Now as far as the music, it's spectacular, most of the iconic songs are here.
For a more varied approach, you'll just have to get used to buying more of their albums that are not in a collection.

not much to say here, except that it works. the improvements over the regular and seasonal Angry Birds are small, but it does add to refreshing gameplay.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story telling meets history, July 1, 2010
In my honest opinion, this one of the best historical fiction books ever written. That might be a narrow genre, but nonetheless, there is some great story telling here.
My western centric view of Genghis Khan was nothing more than a man being barbaric and ruthless. That might be true, but there was so much more than that. Iggulden does an amazing job of bringing in a human element that is really believable. Although some of the revisions of actual events were there, I thought they were very light in this particular book. This is considering how much is truly known about Genghis.
There are some great reasons why this book simply rocks.
-Suspenseful. There are some great moments in fighting, chasing, etc. to keep you reading.
-Detail. He blends the details of daily life and habits in such fluidity. It never detracts, always adding to the plot and characters.
-Dialog and thoughts. Perfect. Great example of Iggulden painting an image for you. You get a glimpse of Genghis might have thought, and what made him a genius leader and phenomenal warrior.
-Tone. When Iggulden has the story ominous, you feel despaired. When things are looking up, you breathe a sigh of gratitude. When the plot wants revenge, so do you.
-Pacing, couldn't get any better. (Pacing was slightly off in the follow up, Lords of the Bow.)

Some minor drawbacks.
-Iggulden seems to overuse certain words. However in his defense, I can rarely think of an alternate explanation.
-Some graphic descriptions weren't necessary (blood, vile, bowels), however they are lightly used and still applicable for each particular instance.

If you are fan of any of the following: history, wars, suspense, or just old fashioned great story telling...this a MUST READ!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome collection of styles, April 7, 2010

I don't want to do a song by song review. But just note that each track has a style catered to each featuring artist, but still remaining very "Slash".
It's almost like Slash was making tribute or homage to his current favorites.
How good is this album? I hate the Black Eyed Peas, I can't stand Fergie most of the time...but I am eating crow right now. "Beautiful Dangerous" featuring Fergie is turning into one of my favorite tracks.
I really hope they can perform this live somewhere, perhaps another late night gig. The energy she brings must be seen.

Well done Slash, I see myself playing this album for weeks on end.

The Chase (An Isaac Bell Adventure)
The Chase (An Isaac Bell Adventure)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great - Not perfect though, March 28, 2009
I do like reading Clive Cussler. He writes the types of books I love to read. Casual and action packed.
This "western" of sorts is based on one of my favorite eras or backdrops. The time when the western way of life mixed with the sudden and rapid growth of turn of the century advancements and architecture.
Cussler wisely included more than just trains and the usual. He included early automobiles, telegraphs, telephones, plumbing, and banking systems seamlessly to provide an immersive setting in this caper.
There are some minor complaints. You will most likely reach the correct conclusion on the ending within minutes of opening the book.
As mentioned earlier by another reviwer, the terrible earthquake of San Fransisco is poorly used as part of the plot. On the plus side, the descriptions and turn of events do make the earthquake and aftermath interesting. And it still provides a bleak mood as probably intended.
I recommend this book to almost anybody willing for a casual page turner. Perfect for travelers.
