5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Album, February 25, 2005
This album is near the top of great Mega-albums. The songs are awesome, I espeasially like Darkest Hour, which Dave wrote after Cliff Burton died. I all the songs are enjoyable. I love to listen to this album, and Into the Lungs of Hell is one of the best instrumental songs EVER!!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest!!, February 25, 2005
This album is what metal is all about. From begining to end, this album is a master piece. Some critics say that its not as good as Metallica's Master of Puppets or Slayer's Reign in Blood, then don't listen to them. It's better than Master of Puppets, but ties with Reign in Blood. The most famous bass beat is in this song, right at the begining of the song Peace Sells. It takes true talent to make an album like this, and Megadeth has done it effortlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Megadeth album ever, January 12, 2005
This review is from: Rust In Peace (Audio CD)
I love this album, its my favorite Megadeth. I guess its the most thrashing out of all of them, even though all the others are good albums, too. If you are a Mega fan but don't have this, then buy it right away. The remastering was done very well and I don't care what anyone says, the re-done vocals are better quality and sound better. In my opinion, Holy War's... Punishment is Due is like Metallica's Enter the Sandman but Holy War's kicks its [...]!! If you are disappointed by System Has Failed, or Risk, then listen to this one!

These are very catchy songs that are fun to play. If you are good at playing guitar, then be sure to get this. All the songs are awesome and sound just like the recording. I play these songs often and it helps me develope playing techniques.

5.0 out of 5 stars Megadeth is Back!, January 12, 2005
This review is from: The System Has Failed (Audio CD)
Well, Megadeth is back for a while, but this is the last official Megadeth album, Dave's going solo after this. This is a good album. It doesn't really bring back Megadeth's thrash because "World Needs A Hero" did that (a very good album by the way). I don't think this is Megadeths best in a decade. Megadeth almost had every album be awesome but they slowely went down during Criptic. This album really delivers good songs but don't think that they are all thrash. There are all good songs except "I Know Jack," even though they might not be very hard. And if you are against political songs, you might want to stay away, this is very left wing material here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best animated show out there right now!, January 6, 2005
This review is from: Family Guy, Volume One (DVD)
This is an awesome show on an awesome dvd. You get a lot of episodes for your money. The jokes are very controversial but very hilarious. All the episodes are good, expecially the one where Peter gets his own country, ("You named it Petoria." "Yeah, i would have named it Peter Land but the gay bar by the airport already took it.") or where Peter becomes a woman ("Well, at least I'll be the fatest guy on Spooner St. to get a boat." "HEY, HEY, HEY, I'm getting a boat!") If you used to watch this on fox and want more, get this.

1.0 out of 5 stars I hope they didn't do this album on purpose, January 1, 2005
This review is from: St. Anger (Audio CD)
I think this CD sucked out loud. They didn't spend much time thinking about it because they had a dead line to meet. I think they may have done this album to promote there other albums (since they're other albums are 10x better than this one). Because this album got everyone talking about their old stuff. Either that or they sold out! Metallica's going to hell in a handbasket

5.0 out of 5 stars The best starting album of "the Big Four"!!, November 30, 2004
This album is increadable. It doesn't matter what bands of rock you like, you will like this album. It beats the crap out of Kill 'em All, Show No Mercy, and Fist Full of Metal from the other Four Horsemen. I love every song in this album. The only problem is the song "These Boots." It has the worst editing job done on it. For one thing, the lyrics aren't even that offensive, secondly, I would rather have an instrumental song or a song with only a courus than a song with a whole bunch of beeps. I think that Dave should have released the album with the song unedited and would have problably won the case of the origional writer pressed charges. The rest of the album is pure gold. I love "Mechanix", its way better than "The Four Horsemen" by Metallica. I also like the voice doubling on "Killing is My Business...and Business is GOOD!". The only bad thing is the unfair EXPLICET CONTENT warning on the cover. It only got that rating because it had a demo of "Mechanix" which has the 'F' word on it but the album doesn't even say it as much as other albums that have slid by. So if you like Megadeth, buy this CD next. You won't stop listening to it until you die.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great starting point!, November 30, 2004
This review is from: Kill Em All (Audio CD)
This is a great album. It sounds very great for an old album. If you like rock and haven't heard any Metallica songs, get this album first!! But if you already have heard Metallica but haven't heard this album, watch out, they sound way young in this one and this album might not be respected as much. I would give this album 5 stars, but even though "The Four Horsemen" is a good song, it rips two songs. One is Megadeth's "Mechanix" (Dave Mustaine wrote it before he joined Metallica and shared it with them but when he left, he didn't want it to appear in their album) and "Sweet Home Alabama" (just the main riff though). So, this is a very good rock album and it really delivers!
