1.0 out of 5 stars Depends on point of view, February 17, 2014
I was befuddled as to why a book could receive so many 5 star and 1 star ratings.

And I realized it is not the book that is being rated but the reader.
I you are a casual reader of pop fiction and have enjoyed books like "Fifty Shades of Grey", the "Twilight" books, or "The Hunger Games", then you will probably like this book.
If you enjoy literature and make a point to read the great classics then you will hate this book. It is truly a horrendous work of fiction.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly done, February 16, 2012
Not funny. He dressed up some friends, took their picture and then put a one line comment underneath. A hack job. A scam.
Comments not clever or funny. This book is terrible. Anybody who grew up with the Preppy Handbook or any other well though out parody of social groups will be very dissapointed.

I bought this for a friend -we both love to make fun of hipsters- but I was embarrased about how bad the book was I didn't give it to her. I threw it in the trash and bought her another present.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worthy of a book, November 8, 2010
This review is from: Grayson (Paperback)
Would have made a good short story. Trying to force it into a book ruined it.
Check the other negative reviews for more details. I agree with almost all of them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Deadline Due?, September 23, 2010
An intriguing premise, though some may consider it gimmicky, I think her writing is strong enough to refute this.
However I have a sense she wrote herself into a corner.
Was the last half of the book thrown together under the shadow of an impending deadline?
It just seemed to have lost its way.
Too bad there was so many promising possibilities.
