5.0 out of 5 stars Best aftermarket trigger upgrade for Glock match pistols!, December 9, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I expected this connector to "help" - but I was amazed when I achieved a measured 3 1/2 lbs. pull with no takeup at all! For a competition Glock, this is a no-brainer modification. I will keep these on hand for all Glocks that are not potentially to be used for self or home defense purposes.

The trigger breaks clean and crisp at 3.5 lbs. with no slack to take up before the break point. Reset is short, crisp, and very clean. You can triple-tap with ease once you get this connector installed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have upgrade for your competition Glock!, December 9, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This Wolff spring kit is a must have for the competition Glock shooter. You will immediately feel the smoother and cleaner action with these easy-to-install springs. At first I was concerned that the firing pin spring might be too light to handle reloads with hard CCI primers, but it handles them just fine.

I strongly recommend against using these or any aftermarket parts in a handgun intended for self-defense or home protection, but if you shoot competitively - these are an excellent modification!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice training reward with good ingredients, December 9, 2014
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Even though these tiny treats are marketed toward small dogs - my German Shepherd loves them. And frankly, I think they are sized just right as a reward and training aid. The idea is not to feed your dog during training, but to offer small motivational rewards - and these are sized just right for that.

Each treat is a little larger than a pea. They are moist and soft. And, only about 1 1/2 calorie each. Pork liver is the first ingredient, but sugar is also in the top 5. All in all, the ingredients are good and will not be a health problem for your pet in moderate use. They are very aromatic and tasty (so my dog tells me, anyway) and they do what a good training reward should do - they motivate!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just about the only bag you need for a range day, December 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This double-rifle case is nearly all you need for a day at the range. I've been using this Voodoo Tactical case for just about a year, and I love it. You can realistically transport 2 modern sporting rifles (AR-15, AK47 and similar) a couple of handguns, some tools and accessories and half-dozen magazines - all in this bag! And I'm not just saying that because there are designated storage compartments for all of that (which there are) - but because I've done it. More than once.

Each compartment is separately sealed with heavy-duty double zipper systems, except the rifle pouch which uses one zipper set. The rifle storage includes two sets of diagonal holders for the stock and barrel tip, two very heavy duty Velcro straps for snugging the rifle in place, and padding all around. The two halves of the compartment are separated by a thick padded wall that folds out of the way.

The two pistol pouches and two additional nylon storage pouches are located within a second, slightly smaller double-zipper section. The pistol pouches are also heavily padded and held closed with strong Velcro. And they are large enough for very large handguns.

Out front there is a center catch-all pouch that is roomy and handy, flanked on either side by mag pouches that can handle at least 3 30-rounders each. All of these pouches close snugly with Velcro and have additional strong straps and buckles (the plastic snap-together type) that can be adjusted to keep things tight.

There are three ways to carry the bag: Double handle system for briefcase-style carry; Shoulder strap that is adjustable and nicely padded; and backpack style via the double harness strap system on the back of the bag.

Search my name on YouTube for a full video review of this bag - it will help show you all the details.

Love this bag!

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than I needed, actually, November 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good tape - but not quite what I was looking for. That doesn't detract from the quality, but I just wanted a lighter tape similar to masking tape, but colored more like cardboard. This tape is much heavier and honestly better quality than I needed. It has a coating to resist moisture which works well. I didn't really get it for sealing boxes - but it would be great for that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent holster at a great price - perfect HK45 fit, November 13, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wanted an easy and inexpensive holster when I purchsed the HK45, because until I know more about how I want to use the pistol and what I want from a holster, I didn't want to spend much. I have previous experience with SigTac holsters (for Sigs) and know them to be well made. At this price, it is a great solution.

The holster fits the HK45 perfectly. The retention control functions very well, requiring only a light touch of the index finger - better than other similar ones I have that must be pushed hard. The holster has made no marks at all on the slide of the gun - something you have to watch for with polymer or kydex type holsters. And I love paddles for range use. Highly recommended.

Dreambaby 6 Pack Sliding Locks, White

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use - even for babies!, November 13, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this pack of cabinet locks as a temporary solution because we were having house guests with a 1-year old. It took the 1-year old less than 15 seconds to remove the lock and open the cabinet.
On the plus side, they functioned okay and were easy to use (obviously).

If I really needed a lock-out solution for a small child I would look elsewhere.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stand but needs a base, November 13, 2014
This stand is a must-have for the RCBS powder measure. I no longer have mine, but I used it for many years. The only reason I hold back one star is because without a base, this stand is useless. There are slots for fastening the base to your table or bench - I made a small flat base from 3/8" plywood and counter sunk the nuts into the bottom. That worked perfectly. But it would have been nice - and still would be - if RCBS offered a similar simple base for it. Not everyone will want it bolted into one permanent location.

MTM 100 Round Flip-Top Ammo Box 380/9MM Cal (Clear Green/Black)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality affordable ammo boxes, November 12, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The price is great on these ammo boxes - and so are the boxes. They are very durable and hold up well to being tossed in and out of the 'ammo box' for range trips. The semi-clear lid is great because you can see what's in there (like how many rounds) - and my favorite feature is that the lid folds all the way back - flat. No more having to hold the lid open with one hand while plucking rounds out with the other!

I like getting these cases in batches of 10, and in a variety of colors. I use the colored lids to help designate what is in the box - like special recipe loads or certain calibers, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars 'November' is a great discovery!, November 12, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: November (Audio CD)
Every so often I discover an artist, or maybe just an album, that cuts through my veneer of "I've heard everything and there is nothing new that is good out there". This fantastic album, "November" by Grace and Tony is one such album, and Grace and Tony are such artists.

The opening tune, "Hey Grace, Hey Tony" is a light and fun song that tells the listener to shrug off those pretenses and just be ready to listen to something fresh and fun. And make no mistake, the music is good - very good. But it is presented with tongue planted firmly in cheek. These two people have... well... shall I say 'odd' lenses through which they view the world. And their quirky, arcane, and sometime irreverent references and humorous observations really hit home with me. Maybe they will with you too, and maybe they won't - but I can't get through the album without grinning several times.

Self-described as "punkgrass", a combination of bluegrass (her) and punk (him) - the music is a fresh interpretation of the current Americana sound. The final words of "Grassphemy" are "...we'll play our songs they way we wanna play". And I hope that's exactly what they keep on doing, for years and years.

If you turn off any expectations for Grace and Tony to sound like this band, or that duo, or fit snugly into any particular mold - there is a very good chance that you will discover as I did, a very fresh and fun musical duo. The "November" album was so named for other reasons - but if you picture driving down an open country road with freshly fallen autumn leaves blowing in your wake... yeah, this is the album you're listening to on that drive.
