4.0 out of 5 stars Great DVD for wrestling fans in general, April 2, 2005
The other reviews here have match listings and basic summaries of this DVD, so I'll just skip over that. If you enjoy Rob Van Dam's matches today or during his ECW stint, definately buy this DVD. A lot of these matches are very good (vs.Jerry Lynn, vs.Sabu, vs.Jeff Hardy), but there are a few that are nothing special. The two WCW matches are certainly not cant-miss material, though they are somewhat entertaining. The extras are also fun if you haven't seen them before, or want to revisit those segments and promos. The only wrestling fans I wouldn't recommend this DVD to are the ones who don't like hardcore wrestling at all. This DVD is full of that, especially in the ECW matches.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good album, but I would recommend starting off with AFD, March 6, 2005
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
First of all, this is a very good album, with few weak tracks. But if you are trying to get into Guns N' Roses, I would recommnend first buying Appetite For Destruction, which is almost a "Best Of" album itself. GN'R only released five albums, and the few tracks on Greatest Hits just don't do them justice. Skip this, and go with AFD, and I guarantee you will be hooked on Guns N' Roses enough to buy their other albums.

4.0 out of 5 stars Try to check this out if you are a Queen fan, February 23, 2005
If you are expecting music videos like you see on MTV today, you won't be getting what you are wanting. Most of these videos just show footage of Queen performing live, and only a few have any concept beyond that. That's not a band thing though, since the footage and sound is very good. Queen were even better live than in the studio, and you will be able to witness their amazing live talent here.

On the second disc, you have several more videos, and live performances of "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy" and "Now I'm Here". You can also watch a documentary that's all about "Bohemian Rhapsody" which is just as entertaining as the videos themselves. It features new interviews with Brian May and Roger Taylor, and also has Brian in the studio demonstrating how each bit of "Boh Rap" came together.

I would definately recommend this to anyone who is at least a casual Queen fan. These videos are fun to watch, even if you already have the song on an album, and it's great to see Queen from different eras.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Album, January 28, 2005
This review is from: The Very Best of Kiss (Audio CD)
This is a good way to get into KISS, or collect some of their more popular tracks without having to buy all of KISS's records. There is not a weak point on this album, with the exception of the song "I Was Made For Loving You" which is either a hit or miss song depending on your tastes. Every other song is very good, however, and the album features a nice mix of rocking tracks, with some love songs and ballads scattered throughout. I definately recommend this to anybody that wants a starting point for listening to KISS's music, or wants to listen to some good, fun songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sticky Fingers is an excellent album., November 24, 2004
This review is from: Sticky Fingers (Audio CD)
Sticky Fingers is definately one of the Rolling Stones best albums. The Stones play a more bluesy and country-ish sound, and it is not plagued by any filler. The album opens up with Brown Sugar, which would go on to be one of the Rolling Stone's most popular singles. 'Sway', the next track, is very good, and has a catchy rhythm. 'Wild Horses' is a beautful country-like ballad that is easy to fall in love with. The next song is "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" which is very catchy, and has a great instrumental ending. The worst song on the album is 'You Gotta Move" which is a cover. Just because it is the worst song, doesn't mean that it is bad, however. The next song is "Bitch" and is the most rocking tune on the album. 'I Got The Blues' is a very lovely song that I find singing all of the time. One of the most cryptic Stones songs is "Sister Morphine." It might not be the best song on this album, but it is probably the one you will be thinking about the most after listening to it. 'Dead Flowers' is a country song, and one of the best on this album as well, in my opinion. The album ends off with 'Moonlite Mile' which is a very beautiful song, and is a great way to end the album. I think this album would be a good listen for anyone, whether they are already into the Rolling Stones or not.

4.0 out of 5 stars This Is Lynyrd Skynrd's Best Album!, October 4, 2004
This review is from: Second Helping (Audio CD)
I feel that Second Helping is Lynyrd Skynyrd's best album. It sounds great and the production had improved over their debut album. The album kicks off with Sweet Home Alabama, which became Skynyrd's most recognizable and popular songs. 'I Need You' is the next track, which is one of Skynyrd's more slower and beautiful songs. 'Don't Ask Me No Questions' is a good song about people trying to know too much about the music business and Ronnie's personal life. 'Workin' For The MCA' is a catchy song that Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote as both a tribute and a threat to their new record company. 'The Ballad of Curtis Loews' is a nice slow song that is easy to fall in love with. 'The Needle and the Spoon' is one of my favorite tracks on the album, and the guitar riffs on this song are amazing! The album concludes with 'Call Me The Breeze' which is a good cover song.

There are several extra tracks on the album as well. First is a single edit of 'Don't Ask Me No Questions.' However, this song isn't very different from the original track. 'Was I Right Or Wrong' is, in my opinion, the best song on the entire album. The lyrics are wonderful, and the song is very emotional. The last extra is 'Take Your Time' which is from Ronnie's mother's point of view of her son growing up. It's a very good song.

This album is some of Lynyrd Skynyrd's best work. It's definately worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you like GN'R, then you most likely will like this album, May 8, 2004
This review is from: Spaghetti Incident (Audio CD)
For some reason, a lot of people do not like this album. Sure it's not as good as Appetite or the Illusion cds, but the Spaghetti Incident is still a really good album.
1.Since I Don't Have You-This doesn't seem like a song that GN'R would cover, but it is still pretty good.
2.New Rose-This is a punk song that Duff does vocals on. It is fun to listen to.
3.Down on the Farm-One of my favorite tracks on this album. It is really creative and fun to listen to.
4.Human Being-This song is awesome, although you can't tell what Axl is saying.
5.Raw Power-This song is pretty good, but not as good as the rest.
6.Ain't It Fun-Awesome song. Axl's voice and the lyrics make it sound really dark.
7.Buick McKaine-Sort of a strange song, but the "F*** you" chant is really cool.
8. Hair of the Dog-This is my favorite song on the album. It is a Nazareth cover, and rocks very hard.
9.Attitude-This is a punk song that is sung by Duff. It is good, but too short.
10.Black Leather-Some people really like this song, others(like me)don't. I guess it depends on your taste.
11.You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory-A ballady type song that Duff McKagen sings on, plus Duff plays the bass, guitar, and drums on this song as well.
12.I Don't Care About You-This song is really rebellious, and fun to listen to.
13.Look At Your Game Girl-This is a hidden track that you can find if you keep the cd playing after track 12. It is actually very pretty, even though Charles Manson wrote it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Viva La Raza! Eddie Guerrero wins the WWE Championship!, April 3, 2004
This review is from: WWE No Way Out 2004 (DVD)
Rikishi & Scotty-vs-Basham Bros. & Shaniqua
6/10 Decent opener. Not much more than a Tv match though.
Jamie Noble-vs-Nidia
3/10 This was just for entertainment, and not really an actual match.
World's Greatest Tag Team-vs-A.P.A.
5/10 Haas/Benjamin tried to get a good match out of the A.P.A., but only got a decent one.
Hardcore Holly-vs-Rhyno
6/10 Pretty decent match here.
Rey Mysterio-vs-Chavo Guerrero
8/10 This is easily the best Cruiserweight Title match on a WWE PPV. Great match
Kurt Angle-vs-Big Show-vs- John Cena
7.5/10 This wasn't good but it wasn't great. Pretty good for a triple threat match, though.
Brock Lesnar-vs-Eddie Guerrero
9/10 This was an excellent match. It concluded with Eddie Guerrero doing the impossible and winning the title. Not even Goldberg could drag this match down.
Some of the extras are:
Highlight of the Smackdown Royal Rumble
Promos of some of the matches
Paul London, Ultimo Dragon & Billy Kidman-vs-Tajiri, Akio & Sakoda from Sunday Night Heat.
Rey Mysterio's music video.
I would recommend watching this PPV, at least for the last 3 matches.
