3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but inaccurate picture and overpriced, July 14, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The picture is inaccurate. There is a drainage hole with a 1" PVC threaded hose/tube attachment. The plastic itself is fairly flimsy and it's hard to understand how this plastic dish could cost more than a few dollars to manufacture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great and affordable too, July 8, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I used this to power my Toyota Sienna's stock backup camera (which requires 6V) for use with an aftermarket receiver I installed. Easy to use, seems to have a decent build quality, and works great so far. I connected both ground wires to chassis ground (via a metal screw) and it has not had any problems yet. It saved me a lot of time and a huge headache not having to figure out how to convert 12V to 6V on my own.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay for budget speakers, July 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: KFCG1620 (Electronics)
It's okay for the cheap price, but you do get what you pay for. I got these since I wasn't planning on installing an amp in my car and the receiver puts out 22W RMS. These speakers are paper cones i think and don't sound that good. If you need a 6.5" speaker that sounds good, isn't too expensive, is low profile, not made out of paper, and performs well with low power, try the Kicker CS65, which also require only 2W RMS minimum. I installed those in my minivan and it sounds great, so I'll be replacing all 4 of these Pioneer speakers that installed in my Civic with them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality, expensive, and useless cargo organizer, July 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is an overpriced, cheaply made/designed, and useless product. It is very bulky when closed so if you need cargo space and fold it up, it takes up a lot of space. Removing it from your car is a hassle (less so if you can store it in your garage, but again, it's bulky even when closed). It's also cheaply made, with the a poorly designed piece breaking off that is needed to fold the walls. And no, I never carried it by the walls (need to carry it by holding the bottom). It's also a waste of money for such a lame product. Like another reviewer said, I would have returned it if I had kept the box. I never use it and it's not easy to get rid of due to the size/bulk.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not great, get the PAC one instead, June 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a pretty bare bones LOC. It doesn't have a remote turn on wire (for use with factory stereos that don't have a wire for remote turn on from an aftermarket amp) or any gain controls. Just speaker level inputs and RCA outs. I got a lot of noise (huge amount of background hiss) with this LOC even though I grounded both ground wires to metal/chassis. I dumped this one and installed a PAC LP7-4 L.O.C. PRO Series 4-Channel Line Output Converter with Remote Turn On instead, which cost a little more but was about the same size but had a remote turn on wire and gain controls (two, one for front and one for rear outputs). I hooked that one up and the hiss was gone and I could use the gain controls to fine tune my audio system (my compact Clarion Mobile Electronics XC1410 D-Class 4-Channel Amplifier doesn't have gain controls).

3.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced for what you get, June 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got the 10 AWG version and it is really not worth the money. The power cable is fine, and is copper, but the ground cable is indeed not copper. It looks silver in color and most likely is aluminum I would guess. I used it for my ground and it seems to be fine, but if I were to do it again I would just use the left over power cable for the ground as well. It comes with a few connectors and the fuse is pretty rinky dink, cheapo and probably you're better getting a nicer in line fuse that the one that comes with this (it looks like a small Zippo light with a flip up cap).

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great in 2014 Toyota Sienna, June 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Unlike what a reviewer wrote, this fuse tap does in fact fit in fuse boxes where the fuses are "flush mount," as in my Sienna. The butt splice is easy to use and long enough that you can splice it numerous more times if you want to re-wire it to another wire. Great product, so far.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother trying to self-install this, May 13, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The films seem pretty sturdy but to advertise/market this product as something that is even remotely possible to self-install is borderline fraudulent in my opinion. Unless your headlights is a single, flat surface, I would not even try to apply it yourself. You will probably waste a lot of time and end up frustrated. Definitely don't bother with the Sienna and its contoured headlights.

After about 30 minutes of applying and reapplying (using the instructions included) the film, I finally got it to a somewhat decent fit over the headlights (pretty impressive to be honest though, considering the film is a flat piece of film cut to the shape of the headlights and it needs to curve around some difficult pyramid points). It was filmed with so many bubbles though, and some of the edges of the film were not adhering at all to the lens (from repeated applying/removing/reapplying) and I thought there would be little chance that it would "cure" well so didn't even bother to wait and just took it off and threw it away (luckily, no adhesive was left on the lights). $60 down the drain.

If you get this, definitely get it installed by a pro. Or, if you really want to install it yourself, take out the headlight assembly (pretty easy to do but does require that you remove the front bumper cover, which is not hard if you google how to do it) and do it in the comfort of your home, and where you will be able to use a blow dryer to soften up the film to make it easier to install (theoretically).

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice!, May 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
GOOD:
- Easily folds/unfolds. No rolling involved.
- Fits the shape of my 2014 Sienna's windshield. Cutout for the rearview mirror makes installing it easy.
- Nice carrying case.
- Reflective surface (for hot days) and a matte, cloth surface (for cold days).

BAD:
- A bit bulky when folded, but really inevitable and a worthwhile trade off.
- A bit on the heavy side, but the sun visors seem to be able to hold it up okay.

OVERALL:
- A great sun shade but I do wish it was a little bit thinner/lighter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice but poorly packed and confusing installation, May 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a nice, brushed stainless steel license plate frame with a thin border and 4x mounting holes.

GOOD:
- Nice quality.
- Looks nice mounted.
- Affordable.

BAD:
- Although reasonably sturdy, it was shipped in a bubble mailer with nothing rigid protecting it (not in a box, no piece of cardboard inside the bubble mailer, etc.). So not surprisingly it was slightly warped (would not lay flat) but I was able to bend it back to a pretty flat/level form. A bit disappointing though.
- Can't cover the bottom two holes with caps if your mounting surface has only 2 holes (although you could drill another set of holes, I suppose).
- Confusing installation. No, seriously, there are a bunch of parts but not even a single instruction on how to use all the parts (or which parts). It included, screws (x4), plastic mounting brackets (x4; not sure what they are for, I didn't use them), black plastic "washers" (x4), plastic caps (x4) which each contain a plastic ring/washer with a raised "lip" (that you need to remove and use separately). The confusing part is how do you attach the plastic caps?

HERE'S HOW TO INSTALL IT (TO USE THE CAPS): starting from the mounting surface of the car, the items used should be:

mounting surface of car > black plastic "washer" > license plate > stainless steel license plate frame > plastic ring/washer with the raised lip facing away from the license plate frame > screw (the head will fit inside of the raised "lip" of the plastic ring/washer) > plastic cap (without the plastic ring/washer inside) snaps onto the raised "lip".

If anyone needs I can take a pic but just install them in the sequence listed above and the plastic cap will snap on securely to the raised "lip" of the plastic ring/washer.
