1.0 out of 5 stars What, no DJ?, July 21, 2005
This review is from: Escape (Audio CD)
Whatz up Journey fanz! Yesterday when I wuz jammin to da latest release by the gods of music, Limp Bizkit, this silly looking dude in an '87 Chrysler pulled up blasting some silly song about streetlight people, whatever dat meanz! I demanded to know what it was that he was rockin out to, and he told me that it was an album called Escape by the band Journey. So I went out and bought a copy of Escape, and let me tell ya, Journey just doesn't measure up to the musical genius of Limp Bizkit!

First of all, there is no DJ in the band! They have drums, they have guitars, and they have a bass, but a band just doesn't sound right without a DJ spinning it out on the turntables! This Neil Schon dude thinks he can play the guitar real well, but all he can do is show off and play all those weird solos in every song. You'd never see Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit soloing. He's far more talented and doesn't need to show off. Schon just uses solos to cover up his lack of talent. The drumming and bass patterns don't even come close to Limp Bizkit, and this Jonathan Cain dude needs to put down his keyboardz and become a DJ! The band would sound so much better if he did that. Maybe even as good as Limp Bizkit!

And whutz up with this Steve Perry dude? He sounds like he has his b@||z stuck in a vice! He needs to take some singing lessons from Fred Durst of the mighty Limp Bizkit! Not only does he have a wimpy, sissyish, high pitched voice, but he can't rap either! I listened to every song on this cd, and he doesn't drop any raps in any of the songz!

You Journey fanz need to forget about Journey. This band are a bunch of no talent hacks! The band members can't play their instruments anywhere near as well as Limp Bizkit, the lead singer can't rap, and there is no DJ in the band. When you put all these things togeather, you end up with one of da worst bandz eva! When I got done listening to Escape, I took it right down to da nearest used CD shop and I traded it in for the brilliant new Limp Bizkit cd, "The Unquestionable Truth Pt. 1". I think I'll go listen to that musical masterpiece right now! Peace out streetlight people!
