5.0 out of 5 stars Good price and functionality, May 7, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Inadequate for listening to music (unless you like the sound quality of portable transistor radios). But if you just want to listen to podcasts and take calls, it works. Riding at highway speeds with earplugs in and the volume at max, I can comfortably hear podcasts, navigation prompts and calls. For an Arai RX-Q, putting the speakers and mic inside the liners created a clean install; the only problem was where the clamp mount put the unit. When doing a left-shoulder head-check, the knob would hit my shoulder and make the unit do unwanted things. Luckily they also included an adhesive mount, and using that to put the unit higher up on the helmet eliminated the accidental bumping.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waistband is designed for bungee jumping attachment, March 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If you have IBS, this underwear is very uncomfortable: it's cut a little high, and the waistband is much too tight, so it's going to put a lot of pressure where you least want it. I've tried stretching them before wearing, and I've put them through the washer and dryer a dozen times, but the elastic is still too strong.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not race cut, thin material, January 15, 2014

Good climbing jersey because it's thin and a relaxed fit, but not aero and not for cool weather. The description says "slim cut", but that's not accurate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for bike commuting in wide temperatures, January 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Used it from the 50s to the 80s comfortably. Fits snugly like I hoped (wearing Medium, 5'11, 160 lbs). A small collar with a zip would have been perfect, but simplicity is good too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quick pack expander, January 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Outdoor Research Zip Sack (Sports)
I have a 10 liter pack I use for bike commuting most days, but on the few days I have to swap out a pair of pants, the Medium bag is just the right size for a pair of heavy jeans. The zip sack's webbing handles on both ends make it easy to attach with a pair of s-clips.

5.0 out of 5 stars After half a dozen, a keeper, January 12, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Castelli Fawesome Vest
I've tried vests half the price, but the problem with the plasticy fabrics is that they don't breathe and don't insulate. This vest does the three things required: breathe, keep you warm, and protect you from wind/light rain. I use it down to the 30s and it works with a base layer and a jersey underneath. Will also pack small enough for a jersey pocket.

I'm 5'10.5", 160 lbs, and M is just right, but I fear I'm stressing the zipper (though I've used it for 8 months without issues). If you think you're not quite in race trim, size up.

I would've preferred not having the splash guard fabric on the back (so it ventilates better), but that's very minor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great recording, January 9, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I don't usually find recommendations of a musician's playing reliable or useful. That said, if you're a fan of Rubinstein, you might really like this recording. Demidenko is a little more adventurous than Rubinstein, for better or worse, but the sound quality of this recording is fantastic. You'll want to listen without any ambient noise, because the sonorities during sustained notes are their own sort of playing. The only other recording I enjoy as much that sounds this good is Perahia's five Beethoven Concertos with Haitink.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for cold bike riding, November 18, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Second year on the same pair. If you want to keep your ears warm on cold bike rides, these are perfect. Being able fold them up and stow them without damage is a big plus. The minimalist design allows then to fit under the straps and retention system.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended for bumpy rides, November 15, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Had a Topeak Ride Case for an iPhone 4, but it's not available for the 5C. The Dry Bag works OK, but the mount is not as secure: it's wobbly and shakes a lot (but it hasn't detached accidentally). The problem is that all the shaking wore down the finish on the back of my phone. I always strap in in snugly with the velcro tab, but there's still too much room inside the bag, and as a result the phone gets a lot of friction as it's jostled around.

Going to replace it with a $12 clip case and attach it to my backpack strap.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good feel, November 13, 2013

Tried the Targus with the rubber tip, and didn't like the amount of friction it caused. The amPen has a smoother feel and makes for more natural writing.
