5.0 out of 5 stars Cyberpunk noir, May 19, 2014
This review is from: Catwalk: Messiah (Paperback)
It's been awhile since I've read such a fun, fast-paced cyberpunk book. Action packed, with a wry sense of humor I enjoyed my time with 'Catwalk', and looking forward to the next adventure!

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative and witty!, July 23, 2009
I'm not a big fan of tech books. My eyes tend to blur as authors bombard me with fact after fact and it takes me several readings to get all that dry information straight.
This book is different. Tee Morris has written a book that feels like a friend is showing you around Twitter, complete with tips and pitfalls (love the 'Little Birdie told me' and 'Fail Whale says').
There is a lot more to this social media craze than is immediately apparent, and I can only hope plenty of people read this book and have their eyes opened to all the ways Twitter can work for them. This is the book that I will be putting in front of our computer manager so that he has some idea of 'this Twitter thing.'

The Case of the Pitcher's Pendant: A Billibub Baddings Mystery
The Case of the Pitcher's Pendant: A Billibub Baddings Mystery

5.0 out of 5 stars A home run!, September 23, 2008
Billi's back! It's a dream gig for the dwarf detective, investigating a baseball team that is just a little too good. But things take an ugly turn, and soon enough he is well over his head in crime, conspiracy and killings.

There is something intimate about Billibub Baddings. It's not just the first person narrative- it is the richness of detail and backstory that he shares with the reader. You end up spending a lot of time with Billi bu luckily he is just the sort of dwarf you want to hang with; funny, whip smart and a demon with an axe.

Now I have zero knowledge of baseball, but the way Morris explains and weaves it into the story makes it not only interesting but intriguing. He lets a foreigner see through his eyes the joy of the game.

If you thought Singing Sword was great, then you are going to love Pitcher's Pendant. Morris is a writer at the top of his game, and he'll keep you guessing page after page.

5.0 out of 5 stars History and fantasy- a great mix...., January 10, 2006
The thing that stands out in this novel are the characters. They are incredibly well constructed, with meaningful backstories, and personalities that ooze out of them. I also love that everything is not perfect for them, they have the problems, they've done things.. .well they're people!

There is a feeling of depth in this book, with both real historical Tudor England, and Morevi their own specific texture.

If you love fantasy, if you love history, or if you just like good writing I would recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars When you need a little help...., January 6, 2006
.... with podcasting this is the book that you need! It covers all those questions I had as a new podcaster; all the technical things, like hardware, all the software, and all the polishing techniques.

With this in hand I feel much more confident.
