5.0 out of 5 stars Reliable. Quality Sound. Good Value., September 1, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Very nice rich sound. Ample volume as well as control of treble and bass levels. The remote control functions well to control volume, bass, treble, source, pause, play, and forward/reverse. I've primarily used with docking the iPhone 5s. TIP: If you have a protective cover on the iPhone, this must be removed for a successful connection with the speaker dock. This system provides a sound quality that is comparable to that of friends who own Bose systems, yet the XtremeMac is far less expensive. I've had this item for a few months, using in it daily, and I've not encountered any reliability issues.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fuggetaboutit... Lousy, May 9, 2011
I have been patient with the Xikar Executive and have followed the manufacturer's suggestions to bleed air pockets from the fuel tank etc. This lighter is unreliable. The flame will not stay ignited on 9 out of 10 attempts. It is maddening. I asked for a refund where I purchased, but to no avail. I've heard the Colibri torch lighters are far superior in reliability. I will try that next.

3.0 out of 5 stars Microphoneboom breaks easily, December 6, 2010
Comes with a 2.5mm plug. You will need an adapter to use with iPhone or most Android phones which require a 3.5mm plug. The ear piece is very comfortable and is easily adjusted for left or right ear. The boom microphone also has a nice "swivel" adjustment feature. The boom is just a hollow plastic tube, it is not a wired mic. The boom has broken twice in my case. You can repair it easily by fusing the pieces back together with high strength transparent tape. Of course this patch it together approach is of limited sustainability. I am quite gentle with all my electronic equipment so I am surprised at the breakage I experience. Otherwise the overall star rating would be 4 or 5.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey. Nutritional Content not 3rd Party Verified, October 12, 2009
My naturopathic doctor pushes Vega / Brendan Brazier almost hard sell. Along with products from Metagenix. Both Vega and Metagenix pimp that they have superior content, ingredients, formulation, blah, blah, blah. I have yet to find a 3rd party, i.e., independent, laboratory evaluation of these products vis-a-vis other similar products on the market. At this point, it is "trust me" we are the best. And, there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. LOL.

What pisses me off is that the Vega online store charges $15 more for the same product of 974g than the vendors listed here through Amazon. Why such a huge price gouge? I think these holistic new age health product hucksters are as greedy and slick as the American health insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

[...]

Shop around to get the best price. YMMV.

4.0 out of 5 stars Email Voicemail Wonderphone, November 22, 2005
First, the Bberry 7100 is not a PDA replacement. Second, it is not much fun to write emails or text messages. But, if you want to read your email (from multiple accounts) 24x7 without the benefit of internet access, this one is for you. Telephone, alarm, and calendar functions work very well. Email integration with your personal account (e.g., AOL, Yahoo, etc.) is a snap to set up and manage. The syncronization software which links your Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc. information with the 7100 is fairly easy to use. Excellent screen, nice carrying size, decent battery life, and fast recharge. Plug into your PC USB port to synch contact info. or just to get a quick battery charge. Supports bluetooth headsets, but not keyboards or other peripherals. Games, and other applications are limited. For the price, typically well under $200 with rebate and service plan, this phone is hard to beat. Very reliable... only a few system hangups in the 14 months I've used the phone. I wish my Windows XP could boast the same record. I've dropped the phone on 3 occassions with no apparent damage.

1.0 out of 5 stars looks nice.. NOT PRACTICAL... just a gadget, August 7, 2005
Attachment to the kitchen faucet is very suspect. Plastic parts do not make for a sure fit. IF YOU EVER RUN HOT WATER THROUGH THE FILTER... forget it. This has happened twice at my house. If hot water goes through the filter, even for five seconds, the filter is ruined. Two brand new filters at $24/each met this fate. When this happens the whole contraption pops off the faucet. Spend another $50-$70 bucks and install an industrial grade in line filter underneath the sink. In line filter replacements are cheaper than small Brita filters and can be found at Ace Hardware. I am EXTREMELY disapointed in the Brita AquaView product.
