4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonable price, good gift, October 2, 2012
Bought it as a gift and it was a pretty good hit. The digital "Intelligent Zoom" gets you to 8x zoom. There is a quick auto-focus and an "Intelligent Auto" setting where the camera can choose the optimal settings. Also equipped with a panoramic setting to get wide or tall shots. Not really a camera to get and use for all your prized photos, but it's a good gift with some bells and whistles.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kill the pig! Spill it's blood!, October 2, 2012
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
Got the game for my 5 year old who is obsessed with angry birds. He really did love it for a few days, but went right back to the free or $0.99 app downloadable on any phone. Honestly isn't worth the price. This is what happens when developers get too cute with a good idea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Swing for the fences hits the wall a foot short, October 2, 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
RE6 certainly went all out in its latest effort, excellent production. There are 4 different game threads ('campaigns') with the 7 lead characers. Each of the four weaves its way into the other eventually, which makes it interesting, especially for fans of the previous installations. Tons of memorable moments in battles, and of course, the beloved mess you can make of your enemies.

As you play through, there are some scenes that you end up seeing multiple times because of the interwoven stories. I could have done without seeing them multiple times. The action is a little over the top (as you will see as a common thread in some critiques), but i don't really have a problem with that. I think most fans will invite the more frenetic style.

Capcom didn't exactly crush this one out of the park, but it gave it a great try. Worth a purchase for longtime fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kids love it, September 28, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Well, the kids love it... that's why you buy these things anyway right? It's not about how cool we think it is or whether we think the gameplay and graphics are this or that. I have a 5 (boy) and 3 (girl) year old who both have really liked the game.

The game uses actual content from the TV show. Kids will interact with the show while playing. Playing catch with Elmo was pretty neat. There's the standards from the show like number and letter of the day.

Game comes with episodes that are divided into chapters.

Episodes: Elmozilla, Baby Bear's Baby Doll, Siblings, Failure to Lauch, Rocco's Boat, Bubblefest, Humpty's Big Break, Goodby Pacifier.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bonus addition very cool, September 28, 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
For those of you who are fans of the previous versions, you get the following extras:
- Multiplayer maps (Graveyard, Old Quarter, London Streets, Oasis)
- "Flashback maps" which are 8 remade maps from versions 1 and 2
- 25 multiplayer skins, and Killzone 3 skins
- Fort Co-Op (this happens in the fortress from 'Drake's Fortune')
- Rogue skins pack (from 14 enemies)

Game will hook you, especially if you haven't played it before. Lots of recognizable faces from the previous games, fluid fighting, more weapons, good range of settings and action sequences.

4.0 out of 5 stars Clever game, September 28, 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
I like the game and i've never even read any of the books. Definitely an intellectual aspect to each of the challenges you face, much better than some other games where you appear to just plod around for "secret" items. You are provided a series of questions that force you to deduce what has occurred around you. Once there has been some decision, you can proceed. A hint system is available to provide some guidance, but it's much more fun to ignore it and use your own wits.

You need to step into Watson's shoes at times to perform some somewhat pointless tasks which is a little odd considering the game centers around the good detective. It's a bother, but it doesn't take away from the overall gameplay enough to sink the game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Both, a good choice, September 28, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
You get Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Football (the US version), Bowling, Beach Volleyball, Table Tennis, Golf, Tennis, Boxing, Darts and Skiing. This is actually a pretty good deal as far as video games go. Gameplay is not challenging. Having all the sports in one purchase is very cool.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent buy for the kids for a brief distraction, September 28, 2012
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
If the kids are looking for a brief distraction, this game can be worth while. You're basically trying to get Nemo et cetera out of the tank in the dentist's office. There are a decent group of mini-challenges with each character that save the game. Considering it was always geared towards kids, a huge amount of effort wasn't put into the overall graphics aesthetic. For those of you with kids, this is a good one to bring on a car trip where they can be in and out of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, pretty and melodic, September 27, 2012
This review is from: End of Daze EP (Audio CD)
Been a fan of Dum Dum Girls for a few years. Sometimes bands just churn out dreck to get something out there. Obviously this isn't the case with DDG. I got hooked by DDG with their rocking burner songs on I Will Be. "I Got Nothing" sounds like something from that era. "Mine Tonight" is a really sweet, dreamy, pretty song. Also really like "Lord Knows", a slower song that shines nonetheless. Defintely worth checking out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thank God they're back, September 27, 2012
This review is from: Push And Shove (MP3 Music)
It's about time for cryin' out loud! Gwen & Co's got their pep and mojo back and unleash it on the new album. Longtime fans won't be disappointed. The album has the standard bearer pop anthems and delicious gems mixed in that you probably won't hear on the radio. They don't capture the magic of Tragic Kingdom, but it's still a fun pop sound.
