1.0 out of 5 stars died in less than one year, December 20, 2010
bought this popper 11 months ago. the fan died so the unit just gets hot but no longer pops corn. used about 1 -2 times per week. according to my primitive math skills ive used this product less than 100 times. when it worked it did pop alot of corn in a short period of time. that is about the best thing i can say about it. i find it hard to believe that people in their reviews say they have had this model for 15 years.

5.0 out of 5 stars this game has depth but is easy to play, January 1, 2010

i dont really understand the low scores given this game. it has a lot of strategy, plays quickly and holds your interest even when it is not your turn. i will admit that at first the rules are confusing and you need everyones attention to make sure they get the turn elements down. each turn consists of 5 elements that when taken in an orderly manner work quite well. it is strictly a card based game, there are no dice and movement on the board itself is limited to one or two moves a turn. every player has a secret identity and on a given turn you may be controlling an agent that is possibly yours, another players or an agent that is unattached to a human player at all. you basically solve missions based on controlling 2 of 7 items that are on your mission card or by solving secret missions based on having 2 of 7 agents together in the same city. each mission or secret mission scores one point for whichever agent you happen to be controlling on each turn. so on each turn you may be helping or hurting yourself or others and not know until the end of the game. i have two kids 12 and 9 who absolutely love this game. takes about an hour or less to complete and moves quickly once all players know what to do on their turn (took two games to get it down). if you are patient and have kids who can concentrate for more than 5-10 minutes you should find this game to be quite enjoyable with the winner often coming out of nowhere to steal the game.

1.0 out of 5 stars worst replacement bulbs ever, June 24, 2008
my original factory installed bulbs on my 2003 honda CRV lasted from 03/03/2003 until 10/14/2007 roughly 4 1/2 years. I bought these Silver Star bulbs because i liked the look of the light from the bulb and because i do a good amount of night driving. I installed them myself being very careful not to touch the bulb at all with my bare hand. They were awesome for 5 months. In march of 2008 they both burned out within minutes of each other.never will buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing comes close to this beauty, October 29, 2000
This is an amazing game. I dont understand people complaining about the frame rate. I have now played 20+ games in a season and I have encountered no slow down, no graphical glitches or stuttering (which would indicate frame rate problems)nothing but smooth as silk game play! The graphics are amazing, each players face is accurately modeled they even blink their eyes! The Gameplay is not overly fast, but is just about right (though you can customize game speed to your liking). My only real beef is that the higher the level you play on the worse your goalie becomes, so defense is a priority on ALL-STAR level. Players tip shots in front of the net and goal celebrations seem to change the more important the goal is. Score a tying or winning goal late in the game and the player really celebrates. Absolutely everything can be customized, rules, settings, rosters, players are all able to be tweaked to your liking. This game is great no doubt about it this and SSX is all I have been playing. If you like hockey you will love this game. I have a sega dreamcast and this game embarasses the heck out of nhl2k.

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome little buddy!, October 5, 2000
I must admit when i first saw this I said to my self so what? a little playstation. Well I bought one and it is amazing how they fit evreything inside that tiny little case. It is still a playstation but it fits so nicely in my briefcase that i now travel with it wherever i go. Plug it in, connect to a TV and boom! instant fun. Mod chips are also available for this tiny wonder. Then next year when SONY releases the LCD screen for my little buddy and a battery pack it will be truly portable. This thing is about the size of a discman so it can even fit in your pocket. Is that a playstation in your pocket or are you just glad to see me! It still will play CD's and it has shuffle play and sound enhancer to make your CD's sound different with reverb and cool stuff like that. awesome design, playstation games you cant go wrong. I love my PSone! there i said it

This was an extremly hyped game and while I must admit it was a beautifully rendered game it has the depth of a teaspoon. It was not terribly fun to play unless of course you think simon says needed a championship. It really does look good though! Just keep tapping those buttons and watch Ulala [dance]! And then go to the next scene and tap those buttons And watch Ulala [dance] some more! And then go to the next scene and watch Ulala [dance]......again? Oh did I say this game looks great! Oh I did, well then tap those buttons in time with the music and watch Ulala [dance]!......some more? And just when you think you're Denny Terrio on Dance Fever you gotta do everything reverse of what they do. WOW What a twist...did you see that coming or what. But man what Graphics. Did I mention the graphics? Oh I did. Well than tappity-tap tappity-tap-tap tap-tappity Look im dancing! Cool graphics, oh my god I just saw Michael Jackson!

5.0 out of 5 stars Slap happy card freaks will like this game, August 26, 2000
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Slamwich (Toy)
This game is a lot of fun as you are trying to be the player to hold all the cards. Cards are won by being the first player to slap the card pile as certain combinations come up. You have to have a good memory because each card is played on top of the previous one so you have to remember the previous 2 or 3 cards to know when to slap the pile and win all the cards. The action gets fast and furious as players take turns piling up cards waiting for the correct sequence to fall and when it does watch out because hands will be flying to slam those cards. ... Any way a great game for all ages with good reflexes being essential.

5.0 out of 5 stars You will be seeing these shapes in your sleep, August 26, 2000
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
Highly addictive game because there are no turns, just every body whaling away at once. Trying to match up these shapes and colors becomes maddening after awhile. It is quite easy to get lost and see no matches what so ever and all of a sudden your brain will just click and you will be seeing sets everywhere. This is a very simple game to learn and very hard to master. First time players will get frustrated very easily if they are playing with SET veterans. The idea is to match any three cards on the table by having all of the card's characteristics being all the same or all different. Your spatial reasoning will get a real work out as you play through the deck the number of times equal to the number of players. Points are scored for each successful set and points are lost for incorrectly picking a set(which happens alot when everyone is in a hurry to find the next set.). A great great game that is loads of fun but a real mental workout.

4.0 out of 5 stars simple to learn, easy to play .....a fun spelling game?, August 26, 2000
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Quiddler (Toy)
this game is very easy to pick up and play right out of the box. A total of eight hands are dealt which makes the game short and sweet. We play without a dictionary which is more fun. The players vote on whether we think a word is valid and majority rules. The game really bogs down with players constantly looking up words. The first person to be able to play their whole hand, with one card as a discard, goes out and the rest of the players have one turn to put down as many words as possible. Points are scored based on letter value and some cards have more than one letter such as "qu" or "cl". You lose points for letters that can't be played. You cant play your cards on another players word. Highest score after 8 hands is the winner. Spelling and game usually don't go well together but this is a fun game for any age. I personally like Five crowns better.

4.0 out of 5 stars only played 2 games but i am very impressed, August 16, 2000

I must say that this is a provisional review, but from what I have seen so far this is a great game. Current teams are stacked with real players. Great teams of all time are available also but, players are only numbers. You can make your own team if you want even choosing your own logo and team colors. The coolest feature is collecting the madden coins by making certain goals in the game such as running for 100yds, getting sacks and safties, kicking long punts etc., etc. You collect 40 coins and you get to buy a pack of "cards" which contain legendary players, current players get performance boosts for a game, game play modifications and so on. There are 296 cards in the game and you can trade cards with friends through your memory card or even sell cards for coins if you don't like the ones you get. Unfortunatly the only legends I have gotten so far are Boomer Esiason and Matt Millen but there are supposed to be 50 all- time greats in the game. The gameplay itself is fantastic, running is very balanced and passing has always been done well but it is slightly easy to go long to a great receiver. There is a new curved kicking meter but kicking is still the same. I must admit this is probably the best football game i have ever played but we will see after I play a season or so. Still highly reccomended though.
