3.0 out of 5 stars Infuriating Flashing LED Light, November 27, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Length:: 0:22 Mins

The transfer speeds are fast enough for me and the build quality is good. I've been using it a few days now and the most glaring (hehe) problem is the flashing light during activity. Well, just take a look at the video and see for yourself. Notice the Transcend model flash drive above it. The light is much more subtle on that and that's how it should be.

5.0 out of 5 stars DVD Specs, Subtitles, and Christmas Special., January 4, 2012
Amazon doesn't list some important specifications so I'm just posting it here. I got them from the PBS website.

Length : 544 minutes on 3 Discs
Subtitles : Yes
Number of Programs : 9
Includes the Downton Abbey Christmas Special

As for season 2, it's pretty much more Downton Abbey. More Matthew/Mary, Mr. Bates/Anna, and more dastardly Miss O'Brien and Thomas. It's very interesting to see things start to change in the WW1 setting as well and some characters go through some big changes. The Christmas Special in particular is beautifully shot and makes me very excited for season 3 which has already been announced.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and Good, August 29, 2010

A nice case for the Kindle that does what it's supposed to do for a great price. If you're looking for a sleeve this is as good as any.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, awful DVD, May 26, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Quiz Show (DVD)
I would have given this DVD only 1-star, but the movie is so good it earns 2. The picture quality on this set is just awful. It's non-anamorphic and has black bars not only on the top and bottom, but on the sides as well. What you get is what looks like a zoomed out picture that is also fuzzy. There are no bonus materials except trailers, but I don't care about that. This movie was nominated for 4 Academy Awards and it really deserves a re-release with better picture quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Minimalist Wallet, February 22, 2010

Thin, light, and minimalist. It's exactly as described. I can fit cash and 5-8 cards comfortably, I don't carry more than that nowadays.

2.0 out of 5 stars awful recording, June 26, 2008
Listen to the previews before you buy this because the recording quality is awful. They also didn't perform very well because you can hear them screw up sometimes and miss notes. Get the studio albums instead which are amazing.

4.0 out of 5 stars These are quite nice, April 21, 2008
I've been using the QC3 for over a year now and I love them. Great build quality. It's built MUCH better than the terrible Tri-Port headphones which I believe are discontinued. The main benefit of these are the passive (noises from trains and planes) noise canceling and the comfort. These are possibly the most comfortable headphones in the market. They are very light and just rest on your ears and you often forget you have anything on. The leather on the ear covers are so soft it's a pleasure to wear these.

As far as sound quality goes it will not match the audiophile quality of headphones like the Sennheiser HD650 or the Grado RS-1. However those headphones also weigh a ton and aren't nearly as comfortable and have really huge unmanageable cords that aren't meant for portability. If you're looking for the absolute best in sound then look at the companies I mentioned but for the best compromise of weight, comfort, style, and sound quality the Bose QC3 are worth your money. And like all Bose products they come with a 30 day return period for any reason at all. I don't like Bose speakers and would never recommend those but these headphones are really nice.

2.0 out of 5 stars Tivoli should be ashamed, January 3, 2008
It seems this company has jacked up the prices on all their products. The iPal used to cost $130 but now it's $199? That's insane. If you look at their other stuff everything is $50-$100 more than they were last year. How do they justify these huge price hikes? I bought the Tivoli Model Two radio from Amazon last year for $160 and now it's $300. Shame on you Tivoli.
