5.0 out of 5 stars My first gaming headset - Very happy with the purchase!, March 8, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought and promptly returned the Afterglow wireless headset. It was not compatible with my newer television and HDMI-only connection. The Tritton 720+ worked correctly right out of the box with both my PS3 slim and Xbox 360-S (using the optical audio cable). All the cables I needed were included in the shipment, unlike the PDP Afterglow headset. Also, the Tritton 720+ headset is way more comfortable to wear, especially with glasses.

There is a slight hum when there is absolutely no sound, like in a game where there isn't any music during a loading screen, but the hum is not present when the game sound is piping through. I'm sure there are some audiophiles that would knock off a star or two just for the hum, but it's very tolerable.

The mic is removable, which is great because I hardly use game chat and I don't like the mic just dangling out there. The volume control device is removable, so you're able to keep the headset on if you need to step away from the console. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Beware if you use an HDMI-only connection and a newer television!!, March 8, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This headset was promptly returned for two glaring flaws. The headset is not comfortable, especially if you wear glasses. It seems like they didn't include enough of the lower band. The second flaw, which is just as bad, is that they don't include all the cables you need. My television does not have any RCA audio outs (red and white ports), so NONE of the connection suggestions worked for me. There should be information on the box, or on Amazon's product page to cover technical details like this. To keep this headset, I'd need to contact PDP to order a special cable that uses a different set of ports. No thanks! I don't buy a product with the intention of buying more things to make it complete. I returned this headset and bought a Tritton 720+ instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best bang for your buck!!!, October 13, 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is the best way to experience Fallout 3. The game originally sold (retail) for $59.99 and each of the DLCs are $10...and there are 5 of them. So in total, if you buy the regular version of the game and purchase all the DLCs separately, you're spending over $100. If you savor the game and explore all of the content, you'll clock at least 150 hours of gameplay. The graphics, sound, and atmosphere in this game are brilliant. The only drawback is that the game is slightly glitchy, in that sometimes your game may freeze or the game character may get stuck in a rock or something to that effect. While it doesn't diminish the 5 star ratings I gave this game, it can be a bit frustrating especially if you've completed a significant quest and didn't save right after. My solution is to always keep a current save file you can revert to if you experience a rare glitch...the game creates an autosave file and while it has never happened to me, I have read how some auto-save files have become corrupt and therefore unusable. Don't let this dissuade you from playing the'll miss out on a fantastic adventure with multiple paths and plot twists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dope hip hop (BUT YOU MUST KEEP AN OPEN MIND), July 9, 2009
This review is from: Depart from Me (Audio CD)
Cage's Depart From Me is a solid example that art still exists in the Hip Hop or Rap genre. This is the most mainstream attempt Cage has ever produced, but it shouldn't be viewed as selling out. Rap music has been watered down and the elements of what is considered a "typical" rap song have been overused and exploited for so long that truly progressive music is vehemently criticized for not being real enough. Cage has grown up and and a mature mind can appreciate the direction he is headed in. I'm a fan of everything Cage has released in his career. I'm also a fan of more traditional hip hop (although nothing that is played on the radio) and M.O.P. is one of my favorite groups. Don't be afraid of the abundance of guitar riffs, synth sounds, or catchy songs. The subject matter is still dark and complex as ever and Cage still spits LYRICS.

Everybody has an opinion, and this album may not be for everyone. However, if you hate this album, then your backpack straps are on a little too tight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy scent, January 20, 2008
This was a great deal. The perfume itself sells for the same price as this gift set, but you'll also get two lotions and a carrying case. The perfume smells wonderful and it totally made the recipient's day!
