I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It brings back memories of better times. Written in a Mark Twain style, it makes me want to visit Brooklyn.

2.0 out of 5 stars Different Direction, June 24, 2010
This review is from: Livin' A Treme Life (Audio CD)
I was a little disappointed with Livin a Treme life. I like Kermit's origianl arrangments, and these were very standard. It just dosen't compare to the old stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real insight into conversion in prison, January 3, 2007
To read this actual account, private letters of a condemned man, and to understand the emotional struggles in the conversion process, in real life, not fiction is both moving and powerful. Few words can describe the character and growth and maturity of Jacques in his last years and month and days
