5.0 out of 5 stars phenomnal, March 8, 2011
This review is from: Lasers (Audio CD)
Another strong album. Lupe didn't sell out. His lyrics are true to himself. In my mind, Lupe is in the top five best hip hop artists of all time. The entire CD is good, do yourself a favor and buy. I can't wait till he comes around on tour again.

2.0 out of 5 stars soft sound, December 7, 2010
This review is from: Remember To Live (Audio CD)
These are all good new songs from this amazing band. With that being said, personally this EP isn't for me. As a fan who loves their heavy sound, this EP is not that. It has soft magical vocals with background acoustics. Most of the lyrics have to do with religion. You can tell that the band released this EP more for themselves (which is cool). Hopefully their other future work won't forget their heavier roots.

Liar & A Thief
Liar & A Thief

4.0 out of 5 stars Strong debut album, October 6, 2010
This review is from: Liar & A Thief (Audio CD)
Wow. It's good to see that New York hip hop is still producing good artists. This is one of the better rap albums of 2010. Diabolic has enormous talent, particularly in heavy rhymes. Out of the 17 tracks I loved the vast majority of them. Diabolic shows his artistic side by adding brief samples from movies and such on several songs. His collaborations with Deadly Hunta are especially unique. The production done by "Engineer" compliments Diabolic's style wonderfully. It's tough to choose standout tracks becuase they all pump you up. I particularly liked 12 Shots becuase it talks about his own personal battles.
This debut should spark excitment throughout the whole hip hop world. Not only am I hoping for a future tour but a sophmore album as well. His debut proved that he has great talent, but his next should focus more on personal experiences. I think he has a lot to say.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to be a news consumer, January 5, 2005
I loved this book. This book is helpful to everyone becuase we are all news consumers. When a pundit is on TV, you will now know what is behind his arguement. I used what was in this book in the real world. Recently on the radio a author was promoting her book on how liberalism destroys america. I know now that is a total lie, she's trying to manipulate the public becuase it serves the right-wing movement. I feel totally smarter. This book is a hard read becuase it has a lots of names. Its worth it to finish though.
