I've had a favorite westmark vegetable peeler for over 15 years that never got dull...I loved that peeler...but the blade finally came apart and I have not been able to get a new blade. This new peeler has the exact same blade, but it is more difficult to use. It's bulkier, and the "eye" remover is not as good. BUT...I can't live without a westmark, so I bought this one. It peels beautifully, and if I hadn't had the old model, I wouldn't know that there had been something better in the past. The blades are replaceable, so I would love to find a couple of spare blades, even though they stay sharp forever! I found one online site selling the replacment blades, but when I tried clicking on the site my computer told me to not go there...it would be a danger to my computer! The blades are on my "to buy" list the next time I'm in Germany.

My husband had a very old pair of this brand for many years until the elastic gave out. I was happy to find the same brand and at such a good price. He wears heavy leather riding pants on his motorcycle and doesn't like to use a belt with them. These are very comfortable for him and heavy duty enough to hang on tightly to the waist band and stretchy enough to avoid the droopy butt look when he gets off the bike!

I use a queen size blow up mattress for over flow guests. If I just put a sheet on it, it's is noisy and sticky feeling to lie on, even though the bed has a fuzzy coating.
This queen size cover was perfect, adding a little extra comfort and luxury to an otherwise sorry situation. I like the fact that it wraps around the sides, it actually helped the sheets fit better on the mattress. It completely and generously covered the entire bed.

I have cherry kitchen cabinets. You can't really see the dirt unless you look closely, and then it's almost embarrassing to see all those missed dribbles and fingerprints. Most spills wipe off with a little vinegar water and a terry towel or some pledge wood cleaner, but around the knobs...! That's another story. I read about this product in a magazine, so thought I'd give it a try, hoping to get the built up sticky grime off from around the knobs. First I applied the cleaner with a damp cloth as instructed, rubbed and rubbed, but it only removed the lightest of smudges. I applied it more thickly and waited a few minutes, and using a sponge with a gentle scratchy pad, meant for Teflon pans, I went at it. That worked. When I was done I saw that one cabinet that gets used a lot, had actually been worn clear through the varnish to the raw wood. I don't think the cleaner and scratchy pad did this. The wood had just been so dirty that I hadn't noticed the 15 years of damage!
I wonder if I had just used the scratchy pad and my vinegar water, if it would have had the same results without this product? Any how, after gently scrubbing away the soil, I polished away the excess product with a soft cloth. It leaves a waxy feel to the wood surface, sort of like the waxy feeling that treated apples feel like when they put that shinny stuff on them at the market, or if you were to rub candle wax on wood... not really a slippery feeling. I just wanted the cupboards clean, not waxy. But maybe that will protect them from getting as dirty in the future. Meanwhile, I need to get some varnish out and fix the one cupboard door before it gets grimy again. So I rate this product a three because it didn't clean away the old build up without considerable effort.

I bought a black plastic mandrel at the same time and the mandrel is measuring 1/2 size smaller. I Think the rings are probably correct.The edges are sort of sharp, but they didn't bother my fingers. If you try to push one that is too small onto a fat finger, you might have a problem with getting cut. These are good quality at a fair price. They should last me a life time for non professional use.

I'm not sure if it is the mandrel or the sizing rings that I ordered at the same time, but this mandrel measures 1/2 size smaller than the rings. As long as I keep that in mind I should be OK. Maybe. But at this time, I don't know which one is giving me the correct size!

This splint is easy to put on. I thought I could wear it during the day, but as soon as I start walking in it, the plastic hinged splint gets pushed up and starts to rotate away from the bunion joint, making the toe go back to turning inwards. But, if I wear it to bed at night and don't get up, it pretty much stays in postion. It's comfortable and does a good job of pulling the big toe away from the other toes. Sometimes I forget to wear it, but it does seem to be making a very slight difference in the direction of the toe. This is not an overnight miracle...it took a long time for the toe to get turned in. So, I'm sure it's going to take years for this splint to train it to go the other way.

I love this bra. It has a bit of padding that does a great job of hiding the "perkies", without making me look too huge like most padded bras do. The construction keeps the sides of the breast from bulging out sideways, thereby making my figure look slimmer. The wires don't dig in and the straps are placed so that they don't constantly fall off my shoulders.Yes, the lace shows when wearing certain tops, but that's why a girl has a selection of bras to choose from in her lingerie drawer. Every time I wear this bra my husband comments as to how pretty it is...and that is very rare to hear from him! So, I'm going to collect it in several colors just in case they stop making it.

I bought this for my daughter. She requested it as a gift because she uses it...she now wants me to buy her more! It must be good. It's lasted her more than a year.
