5.0 out of 5 stars Great game for 5-8 y.o., December 23, 2014

This review is from: Robot Turtles Game (Toy)
Kids totally loved it, not sure whether that was the game they liked or all these silly noises I, as a turtle mover, was making for them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Tears around small toe in no time, January 7, 2014
Great looking and fitting shoes. Very lightweight, great for everything - trekking, running, everyday walking.

BUT

Both of the shoes developed a tear around the area of little toe in almost the same time, with probably 1 day difference.

Hate to give it 1 star but I must say it's quite disappointing having to throw them away only 1 month of use.

1.0 out of 5 stars No REM awake function. Sloppy support., September 5, 2013
Having read all the ads on how great FitBit is and how it tracks your sleep I decided to buy it. It turns out though it only tracks your sleep but cannot wake you up when you in REM sleep - only at a pre-defined time, which really defeats the purpose of sleep tracking.

Now I am trying to return it to FitBit under their 40-day unconditional return policy and they are unhelpful and unresponsive to say the least - it's been over 2 weeks since I raised a support case with them and there has been very little progress.

Very disappointed, both in tracker and in the Fitbit as a company.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book with a lot to learn from, October 19, 2010
This review is from: JavaScript Patterns (Paperback)
Very interesting book, excellent structure, may be a bit academical - in a good way though.

Author often proposes several solutions to a problem, and advises you why certain solution should not be used due to a browser limitations (IE, mostly) and which one is optimal. For instance, he describes implementation of fully blown inheritance model, and then advises not to use it, which is kind of funny.

Sometimes bits of content feel misplaced - for instance author mentions .bind() function only at the end of Chapter 6, while it'd be really useful right next to the discussion of callbacks in Chapter 4.

Thanks all commenters for corrections.
