This review is from: Soul Mates (MP3 Music)
Danny Wright is an amazing pianist. This album, overall, is great.

The only detractors are two tracks (5 and 7) that seem to have a different tone and the last one has ocean sounds in the background. Still beautiful, just doesn't really fit.

The album is definitely worth purchasing if you like instrumental piano music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but worth it, June 23, 2014

Expensive, but worth it. Better than the one you get at the drug store.

More comfortable and fun designs. You'll want this size if your child is over 2 years.

I was afraid they'd be too big, but they fit perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful earrings, cheap case, June 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Great earrings

Pros:
- Very pretty
- Nice size

Con's:
- Cheap case... You'll want to change it out of you are gifting these. A little velvet bad would be nice if you don't have a good, spare case. If it's just for you, it won't matter

Good price on beautiful earrings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smaller than expected (which is great), Brighter than expected, May 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Overview: Perfect little flashlight for EDC. Combined with the Fenix Headband and you've got your hiking light too!

Side Note: The original package I received was just the E12 (in it's original, factory package) alone inside a ziploc bag. The little keychain light was nowhere to be found. The seller, LUMEN TACTICAL, took it upon themselves to make it right by shipping me the little keychain light seperately. Just to be clear, the E12 light was in the original package and worked perfectly... and the seller took care of the customer, so five stars for them as well.

Pros:
- Small form factor
- Lightweight
- Waterproof to 6 feet for 30 minutes
- Uses any AA battery (alkaline or NiMH or Lithium)
- Long battery life, continuous burn (22 hrs on low, 6 hrs on medium, 2 hrs on high)
- Stands on it's tail cap
- Very good price at $25

Cons:
- Doesn't remember last setting when turned off (i.e. it always turns back on at lowest setting, 8 lumens), you get used to this
- Previous version (E11) had a "momentary" function where you could press the on/off button and see the light while holding it in halfway then have the flashlight turn back off when releasing the button

This little guy is amazing. I'm replacing several flashlights with it. The biggest draw to me is the fact that it uses any AA battery (alkaline, NiMH, or lithium). When the time comes, you'll be glad you have this little beast because when everyone else is scrambling for hard to find, expensive batteries... you'll reach for another AA and keep on going. The battery life is amazing for the light it casts.

The light is turned on by pressing a switch on the bottom. Modes are selected by half-pressing the switch again...

At 8 lumens, you'll be able to look in your bag and find your way around a room/shelter/tent - good for 22 hrs burn time
At 50 lumens, you'll be able to walk at night on the trail (though night hiking is never a good idea!) - good for 4-6 hrs burn time (depending on the type of AA battery chosen)
At 130 lumens, you'll light up an entire room for everyone - good for about 1.5 hrs burn time

The second really great thing is that it's waterproof (6 feet for 30 minutes). That means you don't have to worry if you drop it in the stream or get caught in a downpour or take a tumble out of the raft and swim to shore. Tested this out to verify. Also comes with a spare O-ring in case the original one gets stiff.

Finally, it's a VERY SMALL flashlight. About as tall as a regular/poker deck of cards and marginally bigger around than the AA battery that fits inside it. It puts out enough light to shame most full size flashlights.

For the money (about $25-30), you are not going to find a better single-AA battery flashlight. This is a bugout bag special. I'm probably going to buy a couple more.

BONUS: You can buy a Fenix headband for about $20-25 and your EDC (everyday carry) light becomes your headlamp!

Price: $17.76

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for making your EDC light your headlamp, May 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Overview: Fits nicely, works great

Pros:
- Comfortable
- Can be used as a single, horizontal headband (or) with the vertical headband for more support
- Comes with two attachments for lights (so you can wear two lights at once?)
- Comes with battery case that has two compartments with seperate lids (perfect for storing one extra battery and some waterproof matches)

Cons:
- Minimal instructions, so there is some playing around to figure everything out

Purchased this to go with my Fenix E12 light. Great combination. What I really love is that the clamp is adjustable so you can fit a Mini-Maglite in it as well. In fact, any flashlight between 18 & 22 mm in diameter will fit, regardless of brand. So it'll work with most smaller lights.

At $20-25, it's compact, comfortable, and modular. If you are looking to make your EDC light be able to double as a headlamp, this one's for you!

Howard Leight by Honeywell R-01902 Impact Pro Electronic Shooting Earmuffs

Price: $69.61

5.0 out of 5 stars Skeptical Until I Used Them, May 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Overview: These earmuffs are fairly big, but they work as stated. Great hearing protection, especially with indoor range conditions.

Pros:
- Easy to use
- Comfortable
- Work very well

Cons:
- Slight delay with microphone
- Relatively big (about the same size as standard muffs)

These were a Christmas gift and I've waited until now to post my review so I have 5 months of use. I was skeptical at first with electronic muffs, but now I'm sold. They are about the size of Radian Silencers (or just about any other non-electronic muff you'll find). Howard Leight makes a thinner version of this, but you lose some of the protection as well. About the only time you'll notice it is when using a scope on a rifle.

With them in place and turned on, you'll hear everything on the range until the shooting starts. Then it's like wearing regular muffs.

If you are on the fence, get them. As long as you aren't looking for a narrow profile, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kills Nasty Critters, Doesn't Clean the Water, May 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Overview: With 4x NiMH AA batteries (rechargable), this will make 80 Liters of water safe to drink. Two caveats: 1.) you CANNOT use Alkaline batteries, so you are going to drop an additional $10-15 for 4x NiMH rechargables... 2.) this WILL NOT CLEAN the water, only make it safe to drink (so mudpuddle water still tastes like mud).

Pros:
- Easy to use
- Effective
- Has settings for 0.5 & 1 Liter treatments
- Tapered end fits into most water bottles (including the little 0.5 L ones)

Cons:
- Weight
- CANNOT use alkaline batteries
- No carrying case (though it does have cover to protect the light)

Pretty much said it all above. I use this in combination with a Katadyn Vario filter system. The Vario is effective for 90% of my hike. When I get a water source that's near a campsite/shelter, I go ahead and use the SteriPEN to kill any remaining viruses, etc. Mine did not come with a carrying case, but that's okay... it fits perfectly in the Vario case.

Cannot stress enough that you must use the right batteries. Get the Energizer NiMH rechargables (or other name brand) and you'll get about 80 treatments with this UV light.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Filter for Hiking, May 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Overview: A wonderful, complete water filter system. Prefilter could have been a little better to extend the life of the ceramic inner filter. Can be used alone (or) paired with a SteriPEN traveler system for additional protection.

Pros:
- Lightweight
- Compact form factor
- Includes soft carrying case
- Price

Cons:
- Prefilter mesh (intake) is good, but still allows a lot of stuff through which limits the life of the ceramic filter
- Small, red, silicone cap (used to protect inlet valve during storage/transport) easy to lose

This filter system was purchased for hiking. It is relatively compact and easy to use. Simply screw a wide mouth Nalgene bottle to the bottom of the filter and pump the water in. I always leave it on "Longer Life" because the "Faster Flow" setting bypasses one of the internal filters which means your water isn't as clean. It still pumps water into the bottle twice as fast as any other system I've used.

To get around the wide mesh prefilter that's included, you can purchase an inline silt filter from sweetwater for about $20. Just cut the intake hose and insert the inline filter. This will filter more dirt before it hits your ceramic filter and extend the life of your system.

Recommend following the priming procedure (pump 1 L of tap water through it to flush all the filters before using it) and disinfecting after each trip. The ceramic filter can be removed and cleaned (gently sanded if needed). The charcoal cartridge should be replaced yearly.

If taken care of, this will provide you with a great system for purifying water on your hikes.

One last interesting tip, is a SteriPEN traveler (3-in-1 purifier) fits perfectly in the bag with the Vario. It will provide an additional layer of protection when you are near campsites / shelters where you may be worried about viruses, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfect for Dodge Grand Caravan, 2013, February 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This product fits into a Dodge Grand Caravan (2013 SXT model) perfectly and works like a charm. If you need to tap into your antenna, this is great. There is also a great video on YouTube of a shop pulling a factory radio in 2011 Grand Caravan that will help you get behind the dash quickly.

Google "2011 Dodge Caravan How To Remove Radio Dash Stereo Install DIY" and look for the one by delraycustom. It's about 3 minutes long and it will help!
