3.0 out of 5 stars Just Okay, August 12, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am using this harness with Nikon's 7x50 Action ATB binoculars; they are fairly substantial. Two poor design features reduced my rating of this product: For the aforementioned binocs, the elastic straps are too weak allowing the binocs to creep too low on my body even with max adjustment to the straps. Secondly, without going into too much detail, the attachment hardware is cheap and a pain to use. However, once attached (ignoring the fact that the binocs sag low) the harness does its job. This product will probably perform well with smaller optics, but the attachment hardware will annoy you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy Them!, July 21, 2012
These Binocs are as crisp and clear as my Nikkor Pro lenses. Good value at Amazon's price however, I was able to find them for $150.00 at my local camera store. If you are on the fence between these and the non-waterproof version, buy these...you will have them a life time. Other than price, I could not discern a difference in optical quality between the Action EX and the 'higher end' Monarch series. I also invested in a good binoc harness which makes carrying these slightly larger binocs much easier. If you work or play in marginal light and in tough or unpredictable conditions, the 50mm objective and the wonderful construction is indispensable.
