5.0 out of 5 stars Free from at least two websites sites in addition to a decade or more newer than the one offered here, January 6, 2014
Perhaps the 1999 edition has some unique information unavailable anywhere else and not reproduced in later editions. I would like to hear form anyone who can justify why one would buy the older version when the newer, more up-to-date versions are available for free.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disapointing Presentation Ruins an Otherwise Fact Filled Series, April 5, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The entire series is produced with background music that keeps one constantly on edge. Never one moment of peace to reflect on and enjoy the emormous volume of data and information embedded in each episode. No doubt this could be a great set, but it is produced for an audience that does not mind being dragged along as if it were a never ending sensationalist adventure. Filled with animation that is reproduced over and over, many scenes are monotonous rehashes of previously introduced material. In addition, the series is interspersed with breaks for advertising or station breaks or whatever occurs in the TV land. These breaks simply truncate the immediate scene and then without skipping a beat, picks up with a retake of much of the information already delivered as if your brain were suddenly switched off and you have forgotten what occurred moments before. It is too bad that this set is produced in such a way. As a family, we were looking forward to the production. But because of the high pressure delivery complete with the shortfalls mentioned plus other very annoying features found in sensationalist news broadcasting so common these days, the set will be discarded and we will look for something created more in the style of what David Attenborough has been able to achieve in so many delightful, informative and extremely well produced videos.

1.0 out of 5 stars Superseded by Recently Revised Version, May 6, 2010
Why pay $163 on an old outdated document when you can join PMI and have access to the entire PMI standards library? There may be some useful information in this document worth preserving making the old versions worth $10, but unless you are a collector (and even then at $163 the price is questionable) you would be far better off spending the money on the PMI membership.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ana'a Imagination, July 29, 2000
This review is from: Ana Imagined (Hardcover)
As a US citizen who spent 1.5 years in Bosnia, beginning just after the war ended in 1995, I found the story to be shallow and nearly void of genuine emotion or reaction to the appaling events that took place during the seige of Sarajevo.
