3.0 out of 5 stars I am done!!, September 30, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this game mainly for one thing: Online ranking. I don't care about any other modes. I was happy that they finally have rankings and legit ladder. However, the online game is still very laggy. I have Comcast internet and I KNOW i have good connection. This year's version is no difference from last year when it comes to playing online. The game will PISS YOU OFF if you bought it solely for online game. I constantly cuss at the servers and its slow a** input delayed. Not only I have to time my shot correctly, but I also have to fight against lag. I constantly cuss out at the game and it makes me mad playing this game. If you're a person that have problem dealing with controlling your emotion when losing and don't like losing, I suggest don't buy this game. This game doesn't take your skills into account. If you lose, it ain't because you ain't good but because of the game input delay. It's so damm frustrating. If you bought this game for's 5/5 star. Online...forget about it. If you're lucky, you probably gets some decent games going with better inputs...but I ain't having that. If 2K can't fix this issue, I believe what ever the hell they put into the game are overloaded with heavy used of high quality animations and graphics and in doing so slow down online gaming/bandwidth. If let says the game utilized simple graphics...then online gaming wouldn't have been a problem in my opinion. Either that or they need to invest heavily on their servers.

Game play wise, they have improved a ton. However, there are things that still bugs me from last year and they never bother to changed them. For example, whenever the other team got an offensive rebound, all of my teammates seem to suck into the paint leaving someone wide open for a three. This shyt is annoying. Other things like backcourt violation due to dumb a** animation is still there ever since 2k7...they never bother to fix them. I also believe that alley-oops is overpowered in this game as well as last year's. Like it's so easy to do alley-oops. And here's what tells me they don't give a damm about fixing some of the things from last year's version: When you see both teams wearing yellow jerseys or same color of start to wonder why did this happen. Did 2K ever play test the damm game? Surely they must have known about this issue right? So, why didn't they fix it? That really bothers me...that they knew about this and still didn't fix it! This shyt is in last year's game too!! Other things that bother me...they never bother to let you save the online settings such as camera, coach settings, offensive/defensive emphasis. So every time you start up a game have to deal with this bullshyt all over again for every single game you play online. What if I want to use my settings that I had set up in previous game? Nope, can't do it! Same go with camera setting online. When you start up the game for the first time and go online to play it...the very first game you play, you have to do it all over again and you ask yourself did 2K ever play online game? Did they not know about this issue? You start to wonder what the hell have they been doing. This shyt is still in last year's version. Some of the other shyt they did like the substitution menu screen. What the hell have they done to the substitution menu screen...OMG. It is supposed to be easy and quick and save time right? Nope. You have to go through two screens and figure out whether it's up down left or right to get the player you want and then do it allll over again with another player. You call that efficient, 2K? Who ever invented this bullshyt must be stupid because if you're smart, you would know right away that it is illogical and inefficient to go through THAT MANY STEPS just to sub in a player. Also, they changed up the bounce pass and alley oops buttons, why? God knows why. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and there is nothing wrong about the bounce pass buttons presses on last year's version. That bothers me that they changed that up. It was more satisfying with last year's bounce passes and alley oops. Another thing about the game is the shooting is never consistent. It's like they program the game to only allow you to hit the shot at certain points or certain things that you need to do in the game to get better success rate. In other words, if you think this game take your skills into account 100% of the time, you're wrong. So that's why sometimes even if you're wide open and shoot the ball release right on time, you still going to miss it. And what's their excuse for that? Oh you know sometimes player in real life misses shot. But hey, i am not that real life player....i am using my USER SKILLS!! The game dictates how you play the game, not the other way around. There are certain things/factors that you can't control as well such as when you had a wide open lane to the basket, for whatever reason, your player got suck into this animation and prevent you from doing a layup or making a dunk. It's almost like they did this on purpose to prevent you from dunking too much. There are times you thought there is no way they can block that dunk because I have a wide open lane to the basket...but nope, for whatever reason, somehow someone was able to block it from behind. They never fix this shyt from last year's version. All that, and the horrendous online input delay are what leads me to return this game for a full refund. I am done!!

I love this product. I can now sit or lying in the bed with my tablet being held up by a tray rather than my hands. It does get tired without the stand.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first Samsung Tablet, March 22, 2014

This device does basically anything you want. It is bright and clear. Screen size is just perfect imo. I know some people might think it's big but it's not. I think the 10.1 is a little small for watching video. You can basically do anything you want with this device. Watching video and reading text is a dream. The battery last a long time as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great app, March 22, 2014

This works great but it needs higher upload speed in order to play HD or higher quality. I have Comcast w/ about 4kbps upload speed and yet it gives me border from SD to HD in picture quality. I think they need to improve on this because Netflix and Hulu allow you to stream HD w/ minimal upload speed. This device required a higher upload speed in order to obtain higher quality. Other than that...i think this is a great device. Oh one more thing, please fine-tune the software so that the video screen size fit the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.

4.0 out of 5 stars BAD Concert @WEMBLEY, August 27, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
They should release the 1st leg of Yokohama's concert on DVD. There are a lot of DVDs out there of Yokohama concert with horrible sound. Why not invest in a studio like they did with the Wembley concert and bring true 5.1 surround sound to the Yokohama's concert as well? It does no justice to the legacy of Michael Jackson by not giving the fans the best experience possible and see what make the man GREAT. And there is no such thing as too many releases when it come to Michael Jackson. People just can't get enough of his performances. I am surprise the man never EVER got a TRUE official DVD release of his BAD concert EVER until now. And we're talking about the King of POP who are known all over the world and yet not a single official DVD disc to capture the moment of his greatness during the Bad era?? The moment of what makes the man so great!! Even Bruce Lee got a lot of his films on DVDs. If you say...oh because there is no DVD format during the 80s....but hey Bruce Lee's films were never meant to be in DVD format to begin with. And if you make other excuses like....oh because MJ's Bad concerts were not captured on films? Huh?? You got to be kidding me right? The man traveled all over the world doing the Bad concerts in different countries. Surely, television were invented back then right?? And sure, they were captured on films. How can he went all over the world and only Japan being the only country captured his greatness on film? It doesn't add up.

Okay, so i just received the Wembley's Concert DVD today and just finished watching it. Here's my honest review of the DVD. Before I do, let me just say that I have seen the Yokohama DVD, the Brisbane and the various clips of the BAD concerts here and there and i know that none of them are DVD quality. They were not meant to be DVD quality. But at the same time, they're not HIGH-QUALITY either. I am a bit disappointed with all of the DVD releases so far of Michael Jackson's BAD concerts...and YES that include Michael Jackson's Wembley. Sure, it's a tag better than the other DVDs in term of overall presentation...but it's just "a tag" better. In other words, in a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being blue ray and 9 being DVD quality, Wembley fall somewhere around 4 or 5. The Yokohama BAD concert is visually slightly better than Wembley but c'mon it doesn't make much of a difference really...both are bad VHS quality visually. The Wembley's visual looks like its paint washed out even watching it in 4:3. It is definitely watchable but you just wish the visual is crisp and rich and golden like MJ's performance on stage but it's just not there. Now i know why they don't put the Yokohama on DVD as well. It really doesn't matter. When the source of the visual are bad, it doesn't matter if you put it on DVD or not, it won't help that much.

Update on visual: Okay, watching it on PC with the TotalMediaTheatre5 software, i can make adjustment and bring the visual quality up a notch. So instead of rating it 4 or 5 out of 10, I am giving it a 6/10. This is for watching it on PC. If you watch it on external system like Xbox 360 or PS3, the visual will go down a notch.

As far as overall performance of MJ, when it started out the first half or so of the songs, i say to myself, it's nothing i didn't see before in Yokohama. But in the 2nd half, his performance getting more intense with incredible move after move from the Smooth Criminal all the way to the BAD performance. His dancing is so much fluid. He just couldn't stop dancing. Even when the show ended and he started giving credit to his casts, it is a treat to see him continue dancing along. That in itself is incredible, better than Yokohama's ending. Smooth Criminal (although not in Yokohama) is is Thriller (definitely better than Yokohama and I love the beat). Beat It is alright. Billie Jean (i think the ending of Billie Jean is better than Yokohama as he does more moves with more gracefulness). Bad is also a must-see same like Yokohama!

As far as the sound is okay, a bit better than Yokohama. I have the Harman/Kardon sound system and when i play music videos off of my PC, the sound w/ the bass is INCREDIBLE. I don't feel the same with the Wembley's concert. Like the visual, I feel the sound is in the same rating.

UPDATE ON SOUND QUALITY: Okay, i watched this on my PC and the sound and visual can be adjusted, and the sound is pretty darn good i must say w/ the bass adjusted. So it's just a matter of what kind of software and hardware you have in order to take advantage of this gem. I use TotalMediaTheatre5 software.

So my conclusion is this. Since the performance and the sound are incredible than the Yokohama's DVD, I will say this is the best release TO DATE of ANY MJ's Bad Concert! But better in terms of what?? In a scale of 1-10, it doesn't even meet the high-quality standard...let alone DVD quality. If you don't mind of the visual and just want to experience an MJ's concert in a VHS format, get this (try watching it on PC). If you never seen a Michael Jackson's concert in your life, you will be blown away.

I definitely want to own this DVD because MJ's performance is incredible and i forgot to mention...I really REALLY like the video angle capture of MJ in this concert than the one in Yokohama because you can see MJ's full view close up in all his glory. That's why i wish they find the UMATIC version and restore the visual because it is such a treat to see MJ perform this incredible yet the visual didn't meet the standard.

3.0 out of 5 stars 2k7 is still has the best gameplay, December 31, 2011
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Every NBA2k game i played after 2k7 is slow or something about momentum and weight that slow the game down. I don't mean the speed of the game....what happened is that when you press a button, don't be surprised if you feel a millisecond delay before any action is being executed. For example, when you change a player direction, you'll see that it won't be instantly after you press the thumbstick. Or if you tell the player the shoot, it's going to take them having to go through certain animations before they shoot, so when you're pressing the shoot button, don't expect them to shoot instantly. So the game plays with your mind and you have to get used to it. It's not instantly and fun like 2k7. I have tell them through forum and discussion talking about this issue since 2k8 and they still have not addressed it. I guess they feel the game need momentum and so they're never going to sacrifice momentum for instant speed of execution. That's why the game after 2k7 will always be flaw. Now i am sure most people will disagree but i don't care....i don't buy it.

Until they change the game's execution or revamped the whole game engine...i will never buy a 2k game. Sure I don't mind momentum and weight and all the realness in the game, but if you hinder the gameplay to the point where a user doesn't seem to have total control over the functionality of the game due to delay and execution and animations, then there is a problem. I have suggested to the developers in the forum as to why can't they create a game like where you can instantly control every movement of the player like 2k7 and still allow momentum and weight into the game?? If you can do that, when you have created a perfect FUN FUN game. Otherwise, it's STILL JUST A VIDEO GAME...not true to real life in terms of speed and momentum.

1.0 out of 5 stars Manipulator...this is frault and money scam!!, June 25, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ok, i bought this book because i am curious as to what Whitley Strieber's encounter was and what sort of information can be shed about life on Earth. I am skeptical and i read it with a sense of curiosity and skepticism. My conclusion is Whitney is making up all of this for profit!! That's's ALL ABOUT MONEY man!! I am sure when he runs out of money, the Master of the Key suddenly will show up somewhere else and tell him another story lol. It's all a scam imo!! Nothing against Whitley...i already read Communion and was not impressed by that story also.

First of all, how in the world did he documented all of the "word by word" of a suppose entity during the limited hours they're in the hotel?? Even if he wrote down the notes...c'mon, you can't possibly write down EVERYTHING let alone exact word by word! He say it never came across his mind of wanting to ask who is Master of the Key or where he came from? Really lol. So basically you're brain fart and still have the conscious to take notes? lol.

He presented some facts in order to validate his factitious story before he move on to the story so people don't think he made this up. He talks about how the Master of the Key say about certain technology that never exist in 1998 and then he backed it up proven it exist now. But predicting a certain technology that exist in the future is easier if you do research before hand and so i am not impressed. He says back then he couldn't find any article written on it...whatever. I want to see prediction of something BESIDE technology....something such as the END of the world which he mentioned about the coming of another ICE AGE ....if this come true ...then it's more impressive than predicting future technology....but this will be a long time before it came true or if ever....that's why he put it in the book. First of all, i don't believe ANYONE can see or predict the future of mankind due to FREE if anyone say they can predict the must be a joke. Because if they really can predict...many would be winning lottery by now lol. This just contradict FREE WILL so i don't buy into this crap. Now as far as seeing the past...YES, you can see the past (something that done or happened already) with psychic ability...BUT not the future. Yes, Einstein theory allow seeing future? Or does it? No, it doesn't, it merely allow you to age slower by slowing down time.

I believe a lot of things he wrote in the book are borrow heavily on Edgar Cayce's readings. For example, when he wrote something about "dead over here is birth over there and birth over there is death over here...vice versa." This is exact same thing Edgar Cayce say about the physical and spiritual realm. Another problem i have is the book NEVER emphasized "LOVE," "KINDNESS," "ECT.," as the key ingredients to be ONE with GOD or to maintain that vibrant soul before separation from the physical. Instead, it says you need to meditate to gain a sense of independent and to develop a vibrant soul....REALLY? So it's all about mediation huh? Meditation is EVERYTHING huh? So it's okay to murder, hate and commit adulatory as long as you practice your meditation so you can save your soul lol? Really! He says we're all God...everyone is God within themselves. Again, Edgar Cayce says this and he's just borrowing the same idea. He says we can use devices to detect living energetic plasma....again we knew we can do this today so it's nothing new. If you ever watch the show Ghost Adventures or some other shows, they have the device to detect and communicate with spirits. He sort of say we're reincarnated over and over again until we maintain that vibrant soul. Again, Edgar Cayce says this before.

Some of the ridiculous claim like the killing of a parents in the Holocaust who were supposed to bore a child that will eventually give mankind knowledge about gravity which would have gave us the ability to travel far places in the universe. And this never happened as a result of the death of the that's why we're stuck?? Really lol? Well, couldn't that particular soul reincarnated into a different body under a different parents?? C'mon...i don't see why not!!

Another outrageous claim such as the souls can be harvested and used in the machine or something?? Really?? Are you talking about ether because i don't think they're the same. Souls are can't capture an individual and put it into use lol....what kind of bull crap is this and i thought we're through with slavery!

And the nail in the coffin...when ask why he's not willing to go under hypnosis on the Key and i remember his response was vague and come up with his own excuse to avoid hypnosis because i think if he goes under hypnosis, he may end up giving a different story lol. Another thing is, his website is all over about promoting books...books to me, it's all about money for this i am not buying into his claims in THE KEY!! Also there is QA from a participant that criticize his material and i was stunned to read his response telling the person go back to grade school so he can write better English. This makes me question his professionalism because even if someone criticize your material and you have the gut to post it online and answer w/ that type of shows what type of person you are....someone that can not be trust. If you're professional, you would answer the question kindly even if you don't like what the person said.

Anyway, if you want to read and gain the TRUTH knowledge about life, you should read the Edgar Cayce's material, not this junk that add more confusion to your head imo lol.

1.0 out of 5 stars No wheel?, November 16, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This game deserves an F for no wheel support!! I called this lazy programmers. Consider the fact that other NFS games support wheel...this one doesn't!! So, this is nothing but lazy ignorant programmers. Do any of them play with wheel racing games before?? I am sure at least one of them do...and would have noticed and said something about NO WHEEL SUPPORT!!

This game no matter how great it is deserved an F because no wheel means no go!!

Logitech PlayStation 3 Driving Force GT Racing Wheel is the official PS3 wheel and they don't even mention in some of their games. Anyway, i don't care....i have Gran Turismo 5 ahead of me...thank GOD for wheel support in that game. EA drop the ball...never like them anyway!!
