Sometimes you stumble upon certain books and are completely surprised by what you find inside. Sum is a beautiful and imaginative book. It provides so many different versions of the afterlife, and never once does one vignette seem to mimic another. Every one is poetic, detailed, and and at times touching.

After finishing the book, I couldn't stop raving about it to anyone who would listen. It is simply amazing and I would recommend at least looking through it. But you may find yourself having a hard time not reading it all at once.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, June 11, 2011

I thought this book was amazing. It was extremely informative, but had enough humor in it to keep from being dry, and full of nothing but facts. Ronson did a great job investigating the inner workings of the madness industry.
