2.0 out of 5 stars Beautful Shoe, February 9, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Great shoe, great price. I am between a 9.5 and a 10 and the 9.5 literally felt like an 10.5 or 11 and had MAJOR toe cleavage. I couldn't wear them no matter how many inserts I put in them.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok but not complete!, December 29, 2012
I LIVED for this series as a teenager growing up in Texas....riding horses and being of Native American heritage....LOVED IT! I almost died when I saw this boxed set at a large retail store...so in my 40s now, my mom giggled and bought it for me for Christmas.....imagine my surprise when it is NOT the entire series (which shouldn't a box set be ALL of them??) There are bloopers in the editing (spots will replay as if you hit rewind!) and blank spots where a commercial would have been...just really crappy editing!

I KNOW that us die hards would kill for a NICE box set of ALL of the season! WHY not just do the series justice and release them already! This is an ok compilation...but it would be nice if it were A: complete and B: in order!!!
Just my 2 cents worth.....

1.0 out of 5 stars Great advice that is already out there for free!, July 17, 2007
First of all, the book is based on the golden rule of healthy foods - "you are what you eat!" All one has to do is look to the internet or any wide array of books on the subject of healthy living. Don't eat fast food, over processed sugary foods, drink lots of water, take you vitamins and eat your veggies! Walk for an hour a day (I have lost over 150 lbs doing these very same things all w/o the help of diet pills, gastric bypass or any other such medical enhancements). Simple truth is live by the rule of "you are what you eat" and remember that calories in must be equal to or less than calories out. If you follow these basic rules you will loose weight under most circumstances.

His advice for the most part is simple common sense (if you are used to buying several hundred dollars worth of supplements a month!). I have a huge problem with the HCG shots that you "need" to get every day for a minimum of 45 days! I looked all over the area where I live and there is ONE "DR" who will administer the shots. I don't even want to know what those will cost. I am not saying that his method won't or doesn't work - but I know from experience that there are less expensive, tried and true methods out there!

Eat healthy, avoid refined foods that are riddled with corn syrup and chemicals (remember that the further away from its natural state you food is the less healthy it is for you!) and exercise! Oh yeah....drink lots of tea (NOT the sweetened southern variety!), leave the alcohol alone and drink water!!!

Have a wonderful happy, healthy and prosperous life!

Oh yeah, one more hint....if you do all the things you are supposed to do and you lose the weight you want to and then you go back to watching tv, eating oreos and fast food everynight YOU WILL GAIN THE WEIGHT BACK! Life really is that simple~

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing must have for historians and fans alike!, August 21, 2004
This book is a study done by scholars and scientists involved with the Fogg bozzetti from Bernini. Quite possibly the single most gifted artist the world will ever know, the public can gain an insight into his style and technique of first sculpting in clay before moving on to more costly slabs of marble or even bronze. Well worth the read!

3.0 out of 5 stars Technical Manual/Historical Overview, July 29, 2004
This is an excellent book for those wanting a detailed account of just how they built those amazing buildings durring the renaisssance. If you are looking for a great intrigue/historical novel...look elsewhere! It is jam-packed with facts, notations and historical trivia facts. It however is almost too technical (it was for me anyway!). It read very similar to an electronical device manual (dvd, vcr,etc...) and who really reads those? It was ok...but just be warned...It was a little hard to follow at times.
