5.0 out of 5 stars Seiko delivers again!, September 13, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This watch is a great watch for daily wear. The brushed aluminum bezel is quite attractive without being overly flashy. The glow in the dark hands are among the brighter ones in a diving watch. A subtle design pro is that the hardlex crystal face is just under the bezel, so any direct contact with say, a metal doorframe is mainly absorbed by the bezel which is much more easily replaced. However, there are only three things that stop this from being perfect. First, the thicker hands completely cover the date a few times a day. Second, the crown is pop out, which means this isn't really waterproof to 100m (think 30ish to be safe). And lastly, to adjust the actual date number, you can only turn the dial's time forward, which takes a while. With that being said, this watch is excellent with little faults and a three year warranty (2nd and 3rd US only).

5.0 out of 5 stars What Beats are advertised as, March 24, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The ATH-M50s are a staple among audiophiles because of their excellent sound reproduction. They excel in versatility/looks, comfort, durability, value, and SOUND.

Versatility/Looks: The pictures you see in the description is a little misleading. These cans(headphones) are basically a nondescript black with a glossy black logo inside the silver rings. However, they are undoubtedly one of the most versatile headphones you can own. The earcups can swivel 180 degrees both ways, flip upside down, and can be folded under the headband to fit in the included soft carrying pouch. And it has a low impedance(how much power it takes in), so you can play it on almost anything it fits into. Despite that, the wire isn't detachable, so you can't daisy chain. But it can stretch up to 12 feet. for those across the room movies. 4/5

Comfort: First time users should be wary of a overly snug fit that can hurt the more sensitive ears after an hour or so. I recommend putting these over a tissue box for about 10 minutes to loosen its grip. Or you can just wear it and it'll loosen by itself. As for the actual fit, the sides of the headband can be extended. Combine this with the fact that the earcups swivel, and those of you who have triangle shaped heads can finally cheer. As for the earcups, they are made of a pleather material slighty stiffer than a Bose QC15, Beats Studio, or a Sennheiser HD 500(and up) headphone. 5/5

Durability: These cans are made with a tough carbon plastic that I've dropped quite a few times. They do not scratch(cough, cough, Beats). And most importantly, the wiring down to the jack is very strong. The cable is about half as thick as a pencil(bigger than any monster cable). The jack itself is gold and has a HUGE metal collar. This is good, but it might be a problem for those of you with cases on your music device. 5/5

Sound: Oh My God. This is what the Beats Headphones everyone wants should have been (yes I have beats). Tight punchy bass that DOESN'T drown everything else out. Lively mids that you can pick apart, and vibrant highs with strings sounding like they are making you brain vibrate. The soundstage (the "air" you can hear during a song) is slighty crowded when compared to open ear headphones, but you still feel as if you're listening to multiple concerts at once. The passive sound isolation is the only average thing these headphones have, muffling most sounds. And yes, you can watch movies with them. 4.5/5 (when compared to Sennheisers in the upper 500s)

Value: 160$. Very good. I'd say these are one of the top ten in the world for headphone value.

Overall: BUY THIS. Thank me later.
