Very easy to install - product performed exactly as expected. Cut the hole, drop the cable, fish out at the other end. Simple as that.

5.0 out of 5 stars great accessory for any phone/ipod, May 27, 2013
This headphone works great. No more cords, controls on the unit are more convenient than I would have anticipated. Plus, great sound. I recently returned a $100 headset because of tinny sound. The bass is full, and ear plugs fit well, so very little outside noise. Great sound plus convenience. Excellent product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pile of Junk - ridiculous, June 7, 2012
What a piece of crap - I've used Dell in the workplace for about 15 years. Based on that history I decided to try this A-1 model when it came time to replace my aging Sony. What a mistake. I'm truly confused by the people who give this five stars - I'd give it MINUS FIVE STARS if that was an option. If you're looking for a computer that:
1 - cannot operate I-Tunes - then buy this computer.
2 - cannot play a DVD without locking up - then this is your baby.
3 - locks up while on the internet - without being on any particluar website - then buy this computer
4 - if you like the color blue while it locks up - you will enjoy the blank blue monitor. Leave it on forever, it won't fix itself.
5 - if you like to make friends on other continents - you will like the CSRs who tell you its perfectly normal for the computer to lock up like that.
6 - if you like to give Dell your money for no good reason - you will have fun with CSRs who's only interest is to sell you an additional warranty.

If these things appeal to you then, yes, by all means, buy this computer. If not, get an HP or any other computer. I gave this door stop, boat anchor to my mother (all she does is send e-mails and play solitaire) and even she doesn't like it. Sorry, mom - i thought it would work out for you.

Don't even try to get someone at Dell to listen. Who are you going to call? The only support number you have is the International Support Team and according to them, all of the above is ok. Piece of crap, pile of junk (repeat).

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good for me, December 22, 2011
This machine did not perform well. Started with the cd/dvd drive going out in the first week; no problem - Dell replaced within 2 days. But after that some things didn't work right. Itunes kept showing a "can't recognize DVD drive" message - couldn't rip/burn CDs. Couldn't rip DVDs to server; couldn't play some DVDs. In the middle of inernet use - no video - screen turns blue and computer locks up. I play DVDs using the XBOX extender through Media Center - movies would play for 1/2 hour then quit. XBOX display showed "Hardware Error" or something along that line. Maybe it's the AMD chip; maybe the machine is not intended for a multimedia role, not sure. Calls to support yielded diagnostics that indicated computer was ok. CSR said software problems were an indication something wasn't right, and that was a good thing when it locked up. Gave the machine away and bought a small HP machine - works great. Dell for the home never again.

Update - gave the machine to my mother - all she does is e-mail. Problems continue - I'll likely have to buy her a new machine - definitely not a Dell Inspiron. Machine continues to lock-up when MS Explorer is running. My mom has left the machine - things were fine, came back an hour later and the blue screen was up. I showed her how to unplug and restart - which is now at least a twice a month event. Ridiculous. Buy anything but this machine, especially if you're going to give it to your mom.
