5.0 out of 5 stars Just Buy It, July 10, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Perfect for a laptop. It does not block adjacent ports, does not require power from an external source, and it's attractive and compact.
If you're using this with a desktop you'll probably want an extension cable unless your ports are near the base - same with monitor ports.
Considering the price and my use I consider it a Best Buy AND it's Belkin.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty expensive for what you get, February 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this for a class, but I wouldn't give a second look if not for that. The stories are mostly instructional with regards to technique and not particularly interesting. In my estimation it's way over priced. Hopefully you'll buy my minimally used book when I sell it back to Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Within a day you'll love it, February 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've used the Trackman for many years, and recommended it to friends and customers. I use it for drawing and photo editing as well as surfing. The best part is that it is stationary, unlike a mouse, and easy to figure for both right hand and left hand use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well made compact case, February 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Several reviews I read mention compact consumer DSLRs like the Canon Rebel so I wondered how a full sized camera would fit. While it's a bit snug it will fit, and I'm sporting a 70-300mm zoom. This bag is well made with plenty of room for a flash, charger, extra batteries, and lens cleaners. Glad I bought it, and price makes it a bargain.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent Box with some Caveats, December 24, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Mounting the PSU on the floor of the box makes for an easy assembly, but you'll want to remove the fan on the top before installing a motherboard. With the fan in place there's no room for a standard Phillips screwdriver to secure the upper right screw on the motherboard.

A real oddity is that the brackets for the hard drives cause the drive to be installed with the power and SATA connectors on the backside (right side when facing the case) while the drives are inserted on the front side (left side when facing the case). This means that replacing or adding a drive requires both sides to be removed, and cables routed through the inner frame. This is a design error and I'm taking two stars away for that and the obstruction posed by the fan.

When designers/engineers fail to road test their products this is the result.

Otherwise the box is well made, and reasonably attractive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a Key Chain, December 24, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
There's a lot of utility in a small package that can added to a key ring. TSA won't allow it on a flight but otherwise it's a nice and unobtrusive piece of kit.

Cooler Master Dual Ball Bearing 80mm Cooling Fan for Computer Cases and CPU Coolers
Cooler Master Dual Ball Bearing 80mm Cooling Fan for Computer Cases and CPU Coolers

5.0 out of 5 stars Quiet, July 21, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
For an extra couple of dollars you get a ball bearing fan rather than a sleeve bearing. Since this fan is placed behind my hard drives to provide cooling for the drives I wanted a fan that would last several years. Air flow is adequate, and noise is at a minimum. But I'm also relying on cooler Master's reputation for durability.

Solid performance from an economy drive. Rates 5.9 on Windows Experience. Pretty much on par for a 7200 rpm drive.

3.0 out of 5 stars No Help for Designers, January 7, 2013
Like other titles this book will help you install Joomla on a local server (most hosting companies provide an automatic installation on the web), and some basic information on modifying a template. But if you want to design a new site, or want to convert an existing design to Joomla the book is worthless.

1.0 out of 5 stars Kindle on Chrome, December 12, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Only a couple of hours after buying the Kindle version to be used with the Chrome app I returned for refund. The problem is that you can't navigate by chapter or topic, though the Contents and references throughout the book appear as links (blue text underlined). So if you want to go to Chapter 3, or a specific topic, you have to scroll using the navigation bar which offers no help in locating the chapter or topic. Further, clicking on a link causes a pop-up window with a description of the word you clicked on from Dictionary.com.

I know this is a recent development, Kindle on Chrome, and it would be great for a novel since you'll probably want to read it from start to finish, but it's not ready for a technical book that you'd want to use as a reference.

Hopefully either Amazon or Google will correct the problem because it's a good idea to port Kindle versions to browsers.
