5.0 out of 5 stars Size is listed in the product description,It is small, March 12, 2012
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
Personally i like this little clock. Most reviews are complaining about it being so small. Well it is a clock but its more a novelty item. Mostly just for looks. The size is listed in the product description so i just don't understand why the other reviewers were disappointed, as they should have known it was small cause the size is listed in plain view.

I just wanted to say, These movies are all great, and others like them. I must own about 150 movies of this type. A Lot of people that leave reviews for these types of movies always seem to use the words "So bad They are Good". I have never felt that way. To me these movies are so good because they ARE good! "Something Weird Video Company" is probably THE BEST distributor of this stuff. And they make the movies even more enjoyable with all their extras they add to the discs, stuff you probably just wouldn't see anywhere else. When you think of all the work the filmmakers of these movies put into creating them, because they did most of the work themselves, you begin to appreciate their efforts. I like that these movies are what they are. An art form within themselves. Nowadays they are extra fun cause you get to see all those old classic cars when they were all new. And the shots of old grocery items, or the shots of the old style gas stations. Fun is the best way to describe these movies. Great Stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got Mine One Day Early, January 23, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just got my copy in the mail a day early and have just sat down to watch the American Version with Raymond Burr. I also own the Classic Media version that came out a few years back [The two disc set that's titled "Gojira"]. I have two computers side by side and decided to do a side by side compare of the two versions. My efforts have resulted in this conclusion. Both versions are nice for a film this old. Each has its good points and bad points. The earlier version by Classic Media has better, more balanced lighting. But it does show up more dirt specs and lines. Not a lot more i should add. The Criterion version has less specs and lines and is darker in dark areas and brighter in bright areas. The Criterion version has more contrast, Both films are very watchable. If i had to put a number on it, i would say the Criterion version is at least 20% better looking [video quality] than the older version. And the newer versions sound quality is 50% better than the older version. Here's the big major difference between the two. It appears that the Criterion version is giving us the absolute whole image from side to side and top to bottom. In the older version there are items in the film on the outer edges that are cut off more than the newer version. Its like the older version was mastered slightly zoomed in for whatever reason. If you didn't compare, you really wouldn't notice much difference. I have not watched anything else yet on the two discs, so cant comment on that "yet". Will update more then. In my opinion, this is worth double dipping. Another difference with the new version is the beginning opening titles. This new version has the old original Trans World Release opening. The older version has no opening titles. Also one last thing. The sound in the new version is excellent! Almost no clicks, pops or hiss at all. The sound is a major upgrade. The old version still has the clicks, pops and hiss, but that never bothered me. To me it actually adds to the overall experience. Well this review is not complete yet but it is my hope that this helps those of you who are still on the fence with buying this. Its a nice set to own.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Info, January 17, 2012
There is another way to get this movie in true wide screen, and for 15.49 cents you get 49 other movies similar to this one. Its sold here on amazon and its called [Warriors 50 Movie Pack Collection 2006]. Most of the movies in this set are pan and scan with varying degrees of quality. But this movie Sampson and the Seven Miracles of the World is in this set, in true wide screen. Its on disc 7 side A. The colors are not perfect but its totally watchable. This whole set is really cool and all the movies are very watchable. Its well worth the 15.49. Its put out by the Mill creek Company. Thought i would offer this info for anyone looking for a great deal. That cost works out to be just a hair over 30 cents a movie! That's about what it probably cost to go see this at the movies when it was a new movie. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars A common Sense Down To Earth Review About The Packaging This Set Is Housed In., January 12, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I just felt i had to defend The "It Takes A Thief Box Set. Many reviewers are stating that the box set itself is badly or cheaply made. That statement is about 10% true. In my humble opinion, this is a very very nice box set. I literally have at least 30 various box sets, all with good, great, and bad designs. This one is a little on the weak side physically, but it is NOT cheaply made. Click on the picture, which allows you to zoom in on the set. Its got style, and is in a class all its own. Inside is the coaster set. Their nice cardboard coasters with very high quality print/Art work. Also within the set theres what looks like a piece of the film, Its about one inch by one inch, its mounted in a nice cardboard frame with similar artwork. And the booklet is printed in nice 4-color print. The artwork and colors are vivid. The box set looks excellent on display in my collection. Its stands right out from the rest. The discs are all in separate pre-cut sleeves within the fold out cardboard holders for each season. Lots of nice high quality pictures with-in the Disc holders. I could complain that each DVD slides into a cardboard slot, but the whole issue with this set is to just go slow, Its a very shiny, slippery type surface, and does not do any damage to the discs if you take your time and pay attention to what you are doing. And honestly, how many times do you think you will be removing each disc. Most people with a box set of this size will certainly watch the show, and maybe even succeed at watching every show. But my guess is that same disc might come out 5 times in your whole life. As for the picture quality. I personally cant say cause i haven't watched yet. Ill come back and write more on that after the fact. Most people in the Amazon Reviews seem to say that the first season looks great, the second season looks good, but that the third season doesn't look as good, but is definitely watchable. Since the show was made in the old days, its probably best to buy this on DVD and not Blu Ray. [If it ever does come out on Blu Ray]. Blu Ray might be too revealing of the films flaws. Even high def television are not ideal for a TV show from the 60s, [which seems to have got a little kicked around over the decades.] This probably looks perfect on a high quality Enhanced definition TV. Remember them? EDTV. I think its 420p. Perfect for this show. You cant beat the price right now either. Its really worth 100.00. To each his own, but its a nice set, and with a different frame of mind this can become your favorite new box set.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE:to my original review.--------------------------Well I'm back, I scanned the first episode of each season. On season one, first episode, the mono sound was excellent and clear. The picture quality is a bit grainy "but only in "some" of the darker scenes". There was minor small specks of dirt spots and scratches flying by. The colors are proper and can be made more vivid with your TVs color button in settings. Daylight, and inside lit scenes look great. Season Two looked and sounded as good as season one. With season three the sound was as good as the other seasons. I noticed that the picture quality on season three was very passable and watchable. The difference with season three is that at the very beginning when the show first begins, there is more dirt specs and scratches than usual. It does clear up within 20 seconds or so. This season seems to have had less protection over the years but is still very watchable. You should also realize that this release marks the first time this show has ever been released on DVD. Usually this is the best you will see this because if it doesn't sell good than the rights will either go out of print or fall to a cheaper company that wont put the care into it that this company did. That happens a lot. They re-released the Monkees show again a few months back and the 2nd generation is a no frills pile of junk compared to the first release in those box sets that look like record players. If your on the fence about this you really don't need to be. I know you will be happy buying this. It is worth the 100.00. From Mike in Plymouth Ma. Hope this helps.

5.0 out of 5 stars For Beginners And Pros, Read The Full PDF Manual And You Will Fall In Love With This Camera......, December 28, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
As with all the latest technology, sometimes a sophisticated device can throw you for a loop no matter how technologically inclined you may be. Some reviews here on Amazon, about this camera, are not so positive, but most of them are. This really is an excellent camera. There are not many cameras like it out there on the market. I'm no pro by any means, but i have learned one valuable lesson regarding the newest digital cameras. READ THE FULL SIZE PDF MANUAL. Its available on Fuji's website for free. I'm not shouting here, I'm driving home a point that a lot of people seem to skip over. Because of the manual, im getting pictures and videos out of this camera that are simply amazing! Stunning! I'm not going to explain all the ins and outs of how i achieve the great results because its just to involving for a simple review on Amazon. For anyone who starts taking pictures with this camera and are not happy with the results, I urge you to spend some extra time with it, Try ALL the features, and always refer back to the manual until you have it mastered. The general rule of thumb is to give a device like this at least a good 3 weeks to master its ability's. From all the cameras i looked at on here and in brick and mortar stores, i have to say that for the money, there's simply nothing else like this camera in its class. Good luck from M.B. in Plymouth Ma.

I have had many of these type of devices in the past. This one is different. This one really does work the way it should!! I have plugged in all sorts of devices into this baby and it never fails. All my devices, including hard drives and printers, work perfect!! Others I've used always failed, or didn't have enough power to run more demanding devices. This is the one to get. Don't look any further, unless your going to by another product by this most excellent company. Thank You Plugable for supplying a device that meets our expectations. M.B. in Plymouth Ma.
