5.0 out of 5 stars Great little Lego set for a price that cannot be beat, July 29, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Everything about this set is great. I absolutely love Bespin and the model does a great job representing this awesome planet. The twin-pod cloud car is also quite spectacular. The best part, though, by far is Lobot. Lobot used to be very difficult to acquire as he was in only one other previous set (in 2002, I believe). Lobot may become more difficult to find again after this set sells out.

Keep in mind that these planet series sets are for display and have little to zero playability. The age recommendations are 6-12, but this is to gauge building ability, not the age group that would enjoy this the most.

This is a great set and is surely worth the money!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great so far., August 6, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Does what it says it does, well. Incredibly tiny too. Way smaller than I was expecting. Saves tons of room and tunes accurately. Also just to say, I tried the Polytune original first and it SUCKS TONE so I tried its little brother and it does not appear to do the same. That's good. Also no E problem in polyphonic mode as stated by some other users. Not much else to say besides it is a nice one. :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Decent pedal, but I need help. UPDATE: 7/18/12 Nevermind: Awesome Pedal :D, July 13, 2012

July 13th: 3 Stars

So far I actually really like this pedal. Its not perfect, but it's decent. But I have a problem that I will get to later. First the Pros and Cons.

Pros:
Good Boosting
Feedback Sounds Natural
Boss Quality

Cons:
Expensive for what your getting.
Tone knob is REALLY sensitive.
The boost is clean until about 3 o'clock on the boost level.
The mid boost on character adds some gain.
Gets noisy if tone knob is turned or boost knob goes past 1/2 way.
The metal seems different than the other boss pedals...the metal is not as thick and has odd texture. (but I'm not worried about it breaking)

So in short this pedal does what it says, however, putting a feedbacker with a booster is not such a great idea. The problem is where I put this effect into my signal chain. If I put it before my distortion, the feedback part sounds excellent, but the booster hardly boosts any volume. If I put it after the distortion, it boosts the volume very well, but the feedback part sounds incredibly muffled and muddy. Any suggestions on what I could do? Your help is truly appreciated. If I could get this problem fixed I would change the rating to 5 stars because it is a great pedal I just want it to sound good in both ways. Thanks! (Hope I helped you as well) :)

UPDATE: 7/18/12

July 18th: 5 Stars

After numerous unhelpful returned emails from Boss regarding my problems with this pedal, I took the problem into my own hands. I spent hours fiddling with the placement, knobs, and sounds that can come out of this pedal and I discovered numerous things. First, if the FB-2 is in front of your gain pedal, it will drive the pedal harder (i.e. more gain), but not necessarily boost your volume. The feedback function works great in the position and will give you infinite sustain for years. If you place it after your gain pedal, the FB-2 will boost volume very well, but the feedback function is useless in this placement. Luckily for me, my Digitech RP355, I love Digitech, has a A-B amp function that can change the volume and tone. So for my purposes this pedal is used for the feedback, which is excellent before gain. Sounds very natural, adds upper or lower harmonics (depending on feedback knob), rise time, and will give infinite sustain. DO NOT buy this pedal if you want the feedback function and the boost function at the same time, it just does not work. As I said earlier, putting these two effects together was not really a good idea. However, when used one at a time they do their job just fine. This pedal does also take some time to find a good sound. Very pleased with pedal and shipping company. The bundle was very fair in price too. Thanks. ROCK ON! :D

5.0 out of 5 stars Great and worth the money!, April 16, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wanted to upgrade my distortion from a boss DS-1 (because it blows) to a sound like a fat Marshall stack. My friend recommended joyo's pedals and I was a little unsure at first because of how cheap they were and are. These pedals are amazing. I'm never paying full price for a pedal again. When the gain is turned all the way down there is no distortion at all so you could use this as a boost pedal by only using the volume knob. You can get overdrive sounds out of this pedal but the gain goes up fast!!! That is excactly what I wanted. A hard rock, Brian May tone. This pedal rocks! Build quality seems very good as well. Fingers crossed! The only small gripe I have is that the tone knob doesn't really work well so you will need to have an EQ or it will sound really dark Also, this is a clone of MI AUDIO'S CRUNCH BOX. So the ultimate question is, why pay $140 when you can go joyo for $30 and get the same sound, and sometimes better! CHEERS AND KEEP ON ROCKIN'! :D

I love this pedal and I have already written numerous songs wih it playing guitar and hen overdubbing it with bass, piano, and drums. My only complaint is that the footswitch itself it very hard to press down sometimes. The spring inside is just way too stiff. Other than that his pedal is rockin'! :D

Since the only two soccer games were pew and the crappy gameloft one, I got hem both. Pes is far superior with better controls and more options. 5 dollars is a little pricey, I think, but its with it. Just one question: How do you switch the player that your playing as, A OR B? Good game, little steep, 4 stars for price.
