5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious and Strong!, January 6, 2009
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This Timothy's coffee is delicious and strong. It has lots of coffee flavor and can stand up to cream and sugar. It is, also, one of the few coffees that is still strong enough when brewing the large mug size on our Keurig. It is stronger than Timothy's Rainforest Espresso and has a little more bite to it. We highly recommend!

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring!, November 11, 2008
This review is from: Hot As Hell (Paperback)
I am amazed that the other reviewers liked this book. I have liked this authers books in the past, but I found it hard to stay awake for this one. The characters were childish and shallow. The plot was slow and uneventful. I was actually hoping that they would finally decide they were totally wrong for each other and put us all out of our misery. This book contains no interesting characters, no snappy dialog and no good plot. Save your money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It!, October 25, 2008
This is one of the best romances I have read in a long time. Smart characters with intelligent, witty dialogue. Every bit of this book was fun. I will definitely be buying Julie James next book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just OK, September 8, 2007
This book never really grabbed me in. The chemistry between the two main characters seemed to be from when they were teenagers, so if you han't read the previous book, you were lost. I did not feel that any of the characters were really developed and the dialoge between most of them lacked any depth. I would not spend full price on this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not her best, April 28, 2007
I have loved every one of Gennita Low's books, but this one was not up to her others. The premise is just a little too far out and there was very little action. Plus, there was so little interaction between the two main characters that I could not understand the attraction. And my biggest complaint is that there was no ending! The book just stops without anything being resolved. I am sure the sequal in August will tie up the storyline, but I felt totally cheated.

I would recommend waiting until August so that you can read the two books together. This book alone is totally lacking the sizzle and excitement of her previous books - maybe the second installment will be better.

2.0 out of 5 stars Same old stuff, February 26, 2007
Lori Foster just keeps putting the same characters in slightly different stories. Her male characters are completely interchangable except for their hair color. Her female characters are dull and I am always wondering what the males see in them. I wouldn't waste my money on this one - wait a while and pick it up at a garage sale.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Labeling, September 3, 2006
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I thought this product had reasonably good taste, but I have two major issues with it.

First, they describe this as a Kettle Corn. It is not Kettle Corn - not even close. This is a caramel corn with a thick sweet coating. Real Kettle Corn is a slightly sweet, slightly salty popcorn.

Second, each very small bag has 1.5 servings in it. When was the last time you opened a small bag of snack food and only ate 2/3's of it? They purposely made the serving size unrealistic to make it look healthier. The whole point of paying for individual size bags is that it limits you to a set portion. Remember when a can of Coke had 1.5 servings in it? The FDA made them change the label. If you eat the whole bag, you are eating 200 calories of popcorn. No better that a bag of potato chips or a few cookies, so this is not a lesser evil - it's just the same old junk food with a new name.

I won't buy this product again. It's the same stuff you can get anywhere.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, July 15, 2006
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hell On Wheels (Paperback)
I have read and other Kathy Kelley books, but I found this one very disappointing. The 2 main characters were one dimensional and boring. It seems that the only plot was just to glue the sex scenec together. Not a book I would recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Mediocre at best, April 14, 2006
This review is from: Don't Look Down (Hardcover)
I have been a huge Crusie fan and have read all her other books. I was really looking forward to this book and was very disappointed. The book dragged on and I was not terribly interested right up to the end. The character of Lucy was OK, but the little bits of background we were told had nothing to do with the characters behavior. The hero was a piece of cardboard who slept around. His only redeeming trait was when he interected with Pepper, the 5 year old niece of Lucy. The other characters were never developed and there were just too many of them. All in all, the book was poorly written and the authors should forget all future collaborations.

If you still want to read this book, check it out from the library - don't waste your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terribly Offensive, March 4, 2006
This book must be every 60 something year old male fantasy. A rich old guy being fixed up with a dozen 20 something girls who only want his money and are willing to do anything to get it. The only female in this book with any redeemable features is Jessie. The others are all shallow and stupid and think nothing of jumping into bed with a man 40 years older to get his money. The worst part was Steven has sex with one girl the day before he sleeps with Jessie and then when she finds out, she doesn't care. Yea, like that would happen. And the woman he finally falls in love with is suppose to be his equal, but she is still 25 years younger than he is. In real life, the amazing Jessie wouldn't give this man the time of day. She is still young, beautiful and has plenty of money of her own. Like I said, this is a male fantasy. Any self respecting female should find it offensive.
