If you've never heard of Quinoa, this cookbook will provide you with all the necessary information on the crop, including its history and health benefits. Quinoa is a great source of protein. It is also gluten-free so people with celiac's disorder or a gluten intolerance can use this as a substitute for grains. It has a wide array of health benefits including reducing the risk of diabetes, heart disease, cancers and alleviating migraines. After reading about all the nutritional benefits of Quinoa, I wanted to incorporate it into my diet; primarily as a substitute for rice.
This book contains recipes that incorporate Quinoa into every meal of the day, including dessert. Also, the book contains step-by-step instructions on how to prepare Quinoa and even how to turn it into flour using a blender. The recipes are all simple to make and there are even recipes on how to incorporate Quinoa into classics like Macaroni and Cheese. If you are looking for a nutritious and just as simple to prepare alternative to rice, you should buy this cookbook!
