5.0 out of 5 stars wow - pretty amazing, September 28, 2009
I am pretty amazed by this. Not only is is a great tuner, but the chord feature is very good. It's not rocket science, but for only $10 or so, it's a very cool little gadget that will make your life a lot easier and make you sound a lot better, since you'll have no excuse not to be in tune. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars sturdy and trouble-free, September 7, 2009
This is a sturdy stand. I have paid as much as $40 for similar stands. Offers a good way to "store" your guitar when not in use, but like any stand where you're storing your guitar in a vertical position, you need to place it so that you won't knock it over. As long as you're aware of this, you shouldn't have any problems. I just got this stand, but have used similar stands like it for years with no problems and no damage to my guitars.

5.0 out of 5 stars nice first guitar - something to grow into!, September 7, 2009
This is a great first guitar. Not a lot of money, but the quality is good and it's something you can work into. Not a Martin or one of the higher-end Takamine models, but something you'll be proud of and which will give you a beginning/intermediate guitar player something to work into.

I found the setup (action, etc) to be well done. Played well right out of the box. Nice finish, too. This is a great looking guitar.

The big difference between this one and some of the higher-end models is the quality of wood and the machine heads. It's not bad, just not great. Most people won't notice this.

If you take reasonable care of this guitar, it will last you for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars top notch album, September 7, 2009
This review is from: Diver Down (Audio CD)
People seem to either love this album or hate it. Cover songs, yes. As strong as the first couple of records? Maybe not. Still, a really solid record from one of the best rock bands ever. I always like cover songs that add something new to the original song. This is an album full of songs like that, in a variety of genres from R&B to jazz. A great band that played well together recording great songs. I wish there were more albums like this one.
