5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic reinterpretation of the visual novel, April 10, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If you were a fan of the visual novel then you will probably love this anime. Because the nature of visual novels typically require an author surrogate, the transition to anime has removed this need so if Kazuto was a character you liked then you may be disappointed. However, if it was the girls you liked (which I imagine is the case for most people) then, you will find this very enjoyable.

All of the characters have their traits from the visual novel and all of the dark elements from the novel are changed and even made light of. There are serious moments throughout the anime but for the most part it is mostly light-hearted and more about the characters. Loads of fanservice as well, it's almost like they knew that the original fan service was eroge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little figure, April 8, 2013
Looks great on my desk, I don't know why the other guy had problems with his stand but my figure fits on the stand quite nicely. If you like the pose then it's great, with no movable joints (the mic and glasses are removable) you can't change it but it also makes it more durable for the price. For those of us who spend our money on things to put on our desks/shelves, this one is solid for the price.

Not terribly much educational value though

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic; especially for fans of the series, March 21, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I read the visual novel and enjoyed it quite a bit, so I got this and the first season and after watching both they stay true to the spirit of the novel. There are certain things changed that make it so you don't instantly know everything that is going to happen, and the stories are tied up together better in the anime than in the novel, but otherwise it stays very true to the original novel. I must complain that two of the episodes are kind of bad at one part (you'll know when you see it) but if you're a fan of the visual novels you should definitely not second guess yourself when it comes to supporting the creators and getting yourself a nice no click-version of the novel. Awesome awesome, and more awesome; although if the dubs are terrible but you probably already knew that
