3.0 out of 5 stars Incomplete, imprecise bubble level, February 4, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First, as far as a hanger and sturdiness, it's a five-star product.

However, my first issue is that the package contained 6 screws (correct total number), but 4 were for the wall piece, and only two for the mirror/picture. Both should have been 3, but the wall screws would have been the more difficult to replace. Luckily, I have several replacement screw kits, etc.

Lastly, the supplied level was too imprecise. It would show level when it obviously was not, and vise-versa. I confirmed this with another level, which made the job much easier.

So it's a very good hanger, but it's helpful if you have a decent small level, and perhaps a few "loose screws"!

2.0 out of 5 stars Preach to the choir and they'll give 5-Stars, May 20, 2012
This review is from: Vegucated (Amazon Instant Video)
Vegucated is getting tremendous reviews from those already Vegan, but what purpose is in that?

The first minutes are entertaining (although self promotional by the director/star), but the film can't decide whether to be an "eat healthy" or "animal rights" film. The eat healthy parts are good at showing the benefits, not necessarily the drawbacks. The animal rights parts drops quickly in to calling people on the phone and asking deep questions such as "do the chicks get to see their mothers? (should have edit that one out).

As mentioned in previous reviews, you really need two movies. One should be on the eat healthier, which could more seriously discuss the challenges of eating Vegan (besides taste). The other should be on animal farm practices, with responsible questions about the challenges of moving to that system.

Eat healthy and exercise. And don't get hit by a bus.

5.0 out of 5 stars More pleased with this than I ever would have thought!, May 2, 2012
Simply put, it holds A LOT of tools in a relatively small area, allowing you greater flexibility with laying out your pegboard. Although not every slot is perfect, I even found a perfect tape-measure holder in the area that looked like a "why's that there?" hole.

There are plenty of slots for screwdrivers, etc., and two areas for typical size spray cans (e.g. WD-40).

I have a pretty good load of tools on mine, and I don't feel there is any flimsiness at all.

I also have a matching Lehigh towel dispenser Lehigh Group/Crawford Prod Towel/Tape Dispenser Pbth Utility/Storage Hooks, that I like best because I've already changed my mind once on where to put it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice, with only a few improvements recommended, May 2, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Although simple paper towel dispensers are inexpensive, for slightly more, you can get an item which is considerably more flexible (great for when you "change your mind" on how things should be arranged).

The plastic isn't of a particularly heavy gauge, but looks nice, and is a good color (especially if you like to use those blue disposable towels). Paper towels to not use the included rod, they slip over the larger discs. I do feel this could be a bit better, but time will tell if there are any issues with a roll will fall out with a good, "I'm in a hurry", jerk. The rod is plastic, and is made for holding rolls of tape, etc., and might be adequate if not too much weight is used.

In addition to mounting to pegboard, it does have pre-drilled holes for mounting directly, but does not come with screws for doing so.

Another product this goes well with is the 3-in-1 product holder Lehigh Group/Crawford Prod 3 In 1 Tool Holder 3N1th Utility/Storage Hooksfor your pegboard, also from Lehigh. I also have it, and found it holds a lot of tools without taking up too much space.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for lower, space wasting shelves., February 22, 2012
I've purchased three of the Lynk roll-out drawers in the different widths (all 21" deep), and have been very happy with the three (installed over the past 9 months).

Follow the directions, and the units are very easy to install, so long as you pre-drill your holes. They come with a handy cardboard piece to position the drawer straight, and back enough so as not to interfer with the doors closing.

The only drawback is about 2" lost in height, and a bit on either side. Be sure to get the right drawer for the cabinet, and pre-plan what you'll have there. You'll also want to redo the cabinet bottoms/lining first, as these will be screwed down.

All three cabinet are bearing a pretty good load. One is all canned food, one is all pyrex type cookware, and the largest has an assortment of dry goods.

Perhaps they're a luxury, but they're very handy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks Good, works better with easy improvements, February 22, 2012
This is my review from this piece I purchased in Walnut finish:

OK, this is an inexpensive table, that Amazon retails for about $40 in various finishes. When completed, the table is solid, but the finish and fit are nothing great. Improvements are easy (see photo furnished), which can easily make the item better.

The finish is OK, and was reasonably even on mine, except for the knob. It could be mounted with the uneven part down, and this would be acceptable, but I instead replaced this with one to make it go with the other hardware in the room. Additionally, the finish does seem to mar easily.

The drawer is the biggest disappointment from a functional point. It is less than 2.5" deep, so it won't even hold a standard box of Kleenex. The bottom of the drawer is also made of cardboard, which is laminated on the top side. Once in place, it is ridged enough for this drawer, since it isn't big enough to hold anything heavy.

The drawer does not have any guides, is simply sets on top of a wood strip on either side. This has two problems: (1) it's not as smooth as I'd like; and, (2) the drawer, which has about 3/4" between it and the bottom of the table top, will start to "dip" when the drawer is pulled out.

I have two simple improvements to help. I placed a 5/8" square dowel in the top to cut down on the dipping. These are available at home improvement stores for about $2 for about 4 foot lengths. On the dowel, and on the wooden slide portion, I also used "sliding" tape (specifically CS Hyde UHMW Polyethylene Rubber Adhesive Tape, Clear 1 inch x 18 yards). This made the drawer considerably smoother. The only problem with the tape is the cost. The 1" tape I like is about $18, but that's for 36'. It's great to use about the house.

Assembled, I like the look of the table for where it's going. I do feel that a good furniture store might offer something of more quality for not a whole lot more money. If you're going to use the drawer nightly to store items, I think you should look elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fine sliding tape for household, easy to work with., February 19, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very good tape for when you need a household product, such as a drawer, to slide more easily. This particular roll gives you a good combination of thickness to last, while still being able to fold over edges.

My particular experience is with several drawers, including the dinnerware draw (heavily loaded) which is used several times daily. Although this might work on heavier items, such as patio doors, I don't think it would hold up to the use nor weather.

2.0 out of 5 stars Really?, February 8, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bikers (Kindle Edition)
Honestly, I can't claim this as a review of the ENTIRE book, as I finally had enough 79% through on my Kindle Fire. I had to delete this thing!

The real problem is there are two story lines. The first, and the one you'd guess about from the title, is the main character "Clutch", joining an outlaw motorcycle club, patching in, etc. Fans of the Sons of Anarchy will enjoy this part of the read. It's the typical mayhem you get reading non-fiction on this subject, from Prospect to Member. With a good final kick, it could've made 4 stars.

But, geez, the second story line, about his true love, well, was very childish, on so many levels. Of course, she's the girl he grew up loving. Of course, she's dating the one guy in the club he truly hates. Of course, when he makes his move, she's always been in love with him. Of course, he doesn't mind giving up the TWO girls living together he "dated" (which, of course, switch to the guy he hates). Of course, when they made love, it lasted for hours on end. Of course, mama-in-law has to comment about his "enormous" penis size as a child, so that the three of them have a good laugh the next day about her walking bow legged. Of course, blisters from the day before don't deter them from going hours on end the next day. Etc, etc. Whole chapters.

Then, of course, 79% of the way through the book, during the only portion of the book where his relationship with his girlfriend is contributing anything, of course, they're alone in a pool...but the young, attractive bartender who watches.... OK! ENOUGH ALREADY!

So if you're interested in "Hugh Hefner: The Biker Years", then read this. For me, no more fiction.
