5.0 out of 5 stars Great new story for Ariel Tachna fans., September 7, 2014

This book is a complete delight. I will always be most fond of the alliance series of books from this author but this story, in my opinion, is one of the best outside it. I highly recommend this both for the story and for. The information on hiking the trail to Machu Picchu.

4.0 out of 5 stars I respectfully disagree with the reviewer who giave this 2 stars, January 6, 2010

I need to respectfully disagree with the reviewer who wrote a 2 star review. This is a great book and while not as good as her Vampire books (and few could be) it is a very well written m/m romance. The previous review didn't like the plot premise but said it was well written anyway. I agree it was well written and disagree about the plot concerns. Read this, enjoy it and even more importantly. read the Partnership in Blood series by this author, one of the best m/m paranormal series I have ever read.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best urban fantasy to come along since The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, April 5, 2007
Comparisons are invidious and I don't mean to suggest this book in any way imitates the style of the Dresden files, because it doesn't, unless by imitation you mean witty, gritty, well written complex characters, a completely new twist on urban fantasy (Druids, anyone?) and a great setting in Boston. Must read and it will be far too long until we see the next one, even if it releases next month. Keep them coming.
