5.0 out of 5 stars Well researched and written. Highly recommended for true crime readers, December 2, 2014

"The Richard Chase Murders by veteran true crime writer and historian Kevin Sullivan is fraught with emotion and detail. I always admire an author who dedicates their project to the victims, and tells about who they were and not just the crime against them. This is a well-written book that was researched in person and facts gleaned from key players during and after the Chase murders. A must have book for all true crime enthusiasts or collectors."

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivating story of a real monster., November 26, 2014
This review is from: Monster (Kindle Edition)
The monster is not under your bed, his name is Thomas Luther and he's every bit of a worst nightmare. The author tells a compelling story of a vicious psychopath who killed one woman but no doubt is responsible for many other unsolved murders. Her name was Cher. Mr. Jackson brings her to life in telling this story and the reader can feel the emotions of what she and her family endured.

This is a well-written case told by one of the best true crime storytellers in the business. An absolute must have book for true crime enthusiasts.

5.0 out of 5 stars A well-written book fraught with detail and emotions, November 20, 2014
Nashville Bled is a well-written true story that captures a horrible time in the city . A psychopath killed seven innocent young people and victimized countless families and friends. The author tells the story of each person who was taken away by this monster. A sad but factual book told with compassion. A must read for any true crime enthusiast. Highly recommended.

Love the Jack and Replacement characters. It's time they "got it on" though :)

The author done his research into serial killers and created a well organized psychopath. He explained through Jack, who profiled the SK, the attributes and characteristics of serial killers. I was surprised at who the killer was at the end.

This story held my attention from start to finish in two sittings. A real page turner.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST read for all True Crime enthusiasts, October 15, 2014
Many of us are fascinated by serial killers but have little understanding of why that is so. In Why We Love Serial Killers, Dr. Scott Bonn delves into intriguing social-psychological issues that surround our curiosity and even obsession with the world’s most ruthless killers. He carefully and vividly explains our fascination with evil and shows powerful evidence that the news and entertainment media glorify serial killers and turn them into what he calls “celebrity monsters.” Along the way, he defines serial killers, explains how their often psychopathic minds operate, identifies their varied and complex motivations, and offers new and unique insights into two infamous serial killers—the “Son of Sam” and “Bind, Torture, Kill”—based on his personal contact with them. Dr. Bonn delivers a brilliant examination of the most dangerous and unremorseful humans on the planet. This book is thought-provoking and it debunks popular stereotypes about serial killers such as they are all young, white males. Dr. Bonn has authored a must-read for both the amateur and professional or academic enthusiast of crime. —RJ Parker

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read, September 19, 2014
This review is from: DEFENSELESS (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed this book. The plot is great and well-written. The ending was abrupt and could have used another chapter to tie up a few loose ends. A recommended read however.
