5.0 out of 5 stars NON-STOP ACTION!!, August 11, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Andrew Peterson delivers another winner with Contract to Kill. It begins with a prologue in which the antagonist, Tanner Mason - a private military contractor, is conducting a raid against a Taliban insurgent who’s responsible for countless IED and RPG attacks against coalition forces. Even though the scene was masterfully written, I was a little worried the entire book was going to have a military theme.

It didn’t.

It immediately switches to modern day and Peterson keeps his foot on the gas pedal, and never lets up. Some familiar characters from First to Kill make appearances and I like they way he’s incorporated them into the story. Nothing is forced.

Nathan McBride answers the call to help a friend and from there on, it’s a non stop thrill ride from scene to scene. I loved how the tension built as Nathan and Tanner Mason, both capable and tough, find themselves on a collision course. Coupled with twists and turns, the plot is loaded with high quality action. Again, nothing is forced. It just flows! It’s the exact kind of book I love to read. Honestly, it was hard to put this book and down and get some sleep.

My hat’s off to Andrew Peterson, Contract to Kill is his best book yet. Well done!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Where the hell did Reacher go? Worst Reacher book so far., August 11, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Wtf happened to Reacher in this novel? It's not the same character we all came to love and enjoy reading about. We have to wait a year to read another installment and this was plain disappointing.

Reacher doesn't hitchhike, or hook up with a woman, or test his skills, or do anything we are use to reading. That's for damn sure. It's based in Paris and London and boring as hell. Then it ends abruptly. Very disappointed Mr. Child. Stick with Jack on home soil please.

I've bought several of these units to gift out to my reading fans. I gave three in my household and my daughter's and I love them. They're slim, light and powerful. Easy to carry and they charge our phones fairly quick. Highly recommended for the quality and price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tired of having to replace your cord?, July 27, 2015
With 3 iPones and 2 iPads in our home, we use to run through a lot of charge cables that were basically cheap quality. I only used the Baxia cable one week when I ordered more. Very sturdy, durable and RAPID charge. Best cables by far.

Congratulations AL on your 25th book in this wonderful series. I have enjoyed each and every one. It seems like I know the characters and can't wait for the next installment to see what's happening in their lives. There's been many changes since Clearwater Journals. You have to write faster Bubba. I just finished this one and I need more Joe and cast, eh.

If I had the time, I'd write a poem about the series and characters. If anyone would like to try writing one, I'd love to read them. I'd even gift some prizes. So there's a challenge. ... and Bob's your uncle :)

5.0 out of 5 stars A victim I never heard of but now won't forget. Riveting!, July 15, 2015
“A compelling depiction of a murdered young girl, but no body, a perp who won’t talk, and an overzealous CSI commander. A memorable true story.”

5.0 out of 5 stars A well-written book but a hard pill to swallow, June 30, 2015
A riveting depiction of a murderous woman and a not so innocent daughter. A long but very detailed book by Olsen. A must read for true crime enthusiasts.

5.0 out of 5 stars A true story told with respect and compassion. Highly recommended., May 25, 2015
A well-written, well-researched account of a young woman who was brutally violated and that was before she was mutilated and murdered. Carolina and Diana writes this true story with compassion and dedication to Debbie. If you enjoy a true tale without the gore and grime, you'll like this book. It's a sad book so keep the tissues handy.

I really enjoy the characters of Jack and Replacement and look forward to each book. The author doesn't disappoint in DATA JACK either. A well-written, captivating plot with lots of suspense. The action comes more toward the end but it's riveting. Really looking forward to the next book. Thanks for another fine read.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent book on Forensic Science that CSI fans would appreciate, April 30, 2015
One of the best true crime writers in the business tells the stories of three cases, a company called Necrosearch who using Forensic Science literally leaves 'No Stone Unturned' to solve cases. If you enjoy CSI, and remember the old TV show Quincy, you'll love this book. A good history lesson of Forensic Science as well.
