Capricorn One is a good but flawed movie. It is well paced with plenty of action, a good cast, a very good musical score by Jerry Goldsmith. For a 1970s paranoia movie, it has an upbeat ending which is unusual. The basic plot is a good one, a faked space mission, but on a deeper level is riddled with holes. Due to not having a heat shield, a lunar lander could never put down on Mars, there is no way someone could hang onto a airplane like Brubaker, during the film's climatic chase. Al Bain turns the crop duster upside down. Elliott Gould's car malfunction goes too far also. Somebody is just going to swim out after driving a vehicle at one hundred miles an hour off a bridge. Gould and Brolin getting to the funeral so easily too is another thing. Such a big conspiracy, but once two helicopters are put out of action, nobody else is around to thwart Brubaker and Callfield.

A film like this is expected to stretch disbelief but I think there is a couple of breaks in it. To summarize- Far fetched but entertaining.

Watchable but not very good World War II action movie. Robert Shaw is good as always but he seems tired for most of the film, nice scenery, a contrived hole ridden plot, Harrison Ford should have gotten an award the year this film came out for the most wooden performance, a funny scene of someone getting decapitated without spilling any blood and last but not least there's a brief shot of Barbara Bach without anything on between her neck and waist. The last is probably the best excuse not to give this film one star. That or to hear Ms. Bach tell somebody 'harder'.

Too gadgety James Bond movie. The underwater battle at the movie's end goes on forever. Connery is great, Adolfo Celi is a good villain, the Bond girls are probably the easiest on the eyes of the films up to and including this one.

Because then we save money on chairs. The Marx Brothers take on politics and foreign relations is just simply hysterical. While I like 'A Night at the Opera' more, this is a close second among their films. Hail Fredonia!

Mindless action movie. A script lacking all sense and unlike the first movie, run of the mill villains. Tommy Lee Jones
at least chewed the scenery in the first film.

2.0 out of 5 stars 'All knowledge is for good. Only the use to which you put it can be good or evil.', July 22, 2014
The last of the original Apes movies and the poorest in quality. It does look like a television movie. Logic problems also exist. If it is years since the war occurred, Why-

1 Does McDonald only now tell Caesar about the archives
2 The teacher should know the use of the word 'No' is not a good idea when talking to an ape. It would be drilled into him by then.

Battle has other problems. It isn't a very good movie.

Another attempt to rekindle Casablanca. Unforunately Sirocco is a very dull movie. Not terrible, just dull and tedious.

Of course not everyone is going to make it and some of those who end up dying you could predict the outcome for. Another thing- Would a skyscraper really have 1 million gallons of water on top of it and where does all that water go to when it hits the ground? Still, this or Airport is the best of the 1970's disaster flicks.

Or what I think the Producers should have done with this disgrace of a movie.

Where do I start on Die Another Day's problems.

1 Terrible CGI.
2 The Invisible car
3 Terrible CGI
4 A horrendous title song
5 Terrible CGI
6 James Bond surfing in Iceland.
7 Terrible CGI
8 Predictable (Miranda Frost) and recycled plot (Satellite weapon. Diamonds are Forever anyone?)
9 Terrible CGI
10 Bond returning to Graves lair not once but three times.

Die another Day has other problems but it has been a while since I watched it. Did I mention that the CGI were really bad?

The film did open promisingly with the hovercraft chase and Bond being captured but it degenerated quickly after that.
