4.0 out of 5 stars Not a Grease, December 10, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The material inside this container is a thick liquid at room temperature, not a grease. I suppose it still works but it isn't a grease. Silicone grease that I bought from ace hardware was a grease.

5.0 out of 5 stars Precise Dispensing, Does not Plug Up, December 10, 2014
The glue comes out of the small end very precisely, in drops or a bead. I store the container upside down so it starts to flow quickly. The cap keeps it from drying in the container so it will stay good even if it takes you years to use it all. It dries quickly and holds well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works on MS250, November 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was my last resort to cure a crooked cutting chain saw before I throw out the chain. With this new sprocket it still cuts crooked but not any worse than before. When you install it make sure to engage the oil pump driver. I greased the bearing with disk brake wheel bearing grease.

5.0 out of 5 stars Winter Brushcutter Operation, November 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Our Efco brushcutter sometimes needs many pulls to get started in cold weather. Replacing the little T handle with this allows you to make multiple pulls in quick succession without much strain on your fingers and allows you to pull it wearing mittens. After I cut off the old knot I melted the ends with a match (don't do this just after you add gasoline) so the cord would go through the handle more easily and added a small flat washer to reduce the chances of the new knot slipping through the handle. It shouldn't slip through if you make a good knot but the washer is extra insurance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharp, November 23, 2014

These razors are sharp and last for multiple shavings. I didn't check prices in the local store to see if they were a good deal or not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small Prong is Hot, November 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The switch on my Water Pic broke. I soldered the connections together inside the assembly and then installed this switch in the line. Separate the two wires of the cord with a razor knife and cut just the hot wire (the one that goes to the small prong on the plug) not the neutral (ribbed) wire. Strip 3/4" off the ends of the cut wire and tighten the terminal screws. Screw the two halves of the switch back together and you are finished.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2002 AO Smith Energy Saver Water Heater, October 22, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The old valve was leaking and this one fixed the leak. Here are the installation steps for those wondering if they can do this. Turn off the electricity to the ignitor. If you have a pilot light model, turn off the gas. Turn off the water supply to the house and the cold water inlet to the water heater. Open a downstairs cold water faucet and a downstairs hot water faucet and make sure the water is off. Unscrew the old valve overflow tube. Drain out water from the water heater to below the level of the valve. It took me about 10 gallons, drained out of the faucet at the bottom of the water heater a cup at a time. Open the old valve and make sure no water comes out before removing it. There are threads on this faucet but my standard hose didn't fit them. Use a pipe wrench to unscrew the old valve. The new valve already has Teflon tape on it. Screw it hand tight, then more than one turn but less than two with the pipe wrench to make sure it is tight. Reverse the other removal steps. My overflow tube is pretty loose but it probably doesn't matter because it just needs to deflect water a little. It was longer than it needed to be so I cut a few inches off it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solo Backpack Sprayer Hose Swivel, October 19, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I used this to connect a swivel in the hose for a Solo backpack sprayer. This keeps the hose straight, increasing its life and reach, and puts less strain on your wrist to position the nozzle correctly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful for Repairing Solo Diaphragm Sprayer, October 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When you rebuild the Solo diaphragm sprayer straight access to the T25 screw that connects the backing plate to the lever is not possible because the screw is screened by the top of the lever. A multi-tip screwdriver is too thick to get good grip on the screw. The Stanley screwdriver has a small diameter shaft so it goes in at a smaller angle and gets good purchase on the screw.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge Improvement over OEM Head, October 9, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This head is very easy to load with line, as expected. More than that, it feeds the line out easily, does not jam or melt line, and ejects the remnant cleanly when it is used up. I should have gotten one years ago. It comes with adapters to allow it to be installed on a Stihl FS110 and presumably other Stihls.
