2.0 out of 5 stars Decent watch, Terrible softwares., January 4, 2015
Watch works OK, but the associated software is abysmal.

Upon getting the watch, I plugged it into my computer (Win7) and dutifully registered/signed up for Garmin Connect, which loads so slowly I wonder if Garmin is still using 1200 baud modems. Then I download Garmin Express, which is required to download/sync my run history. It has a (known to Garmin) major install problem. I found a workaround after some hours. It finally works, and looks nice, etc.

EXCEPT! You want to update the software, using the auto-updater included? Nope - a known Garmin issue (got help from tech support this time) is that you have to disable auto-update and do them one at a time, because the Forerunner 15 only has like 1MB of internal storage, not enough to do multiple updates. (Come on, Garmin, it's 2015. Flash memory is dirt cheap and you can nearly pack a gig into a pinhead)

And there's more! I try opening the software again the next day, and it goes into a looped request (from Garmin Core Updater service) for admin rights. If I say no, it crashes, if I say yes it spins a few seconds and asks again, endlessly.

CAVEAT EMPTOR on this crap. Garmin should be doing a lot better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work, July 22, 2013

Bought for my VZW Galaxy Nexus. Phone won't turn on with this battery in. I used an external charger to double check that, still no dice. 1 star only because zero isn't allowed.

Great album, and they put on a great live show as well.

If these tracks don't send you jumping maybe get your pulse checked?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Rare 5-Star Review, May 31, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ready Player One (Hardcover)
Not because this is the best book I read all year ("Just Kids" gets that), but because it was a strong contender and just so damn much fun to read. Engaging, and witty, 'Ready Player One' melds so much of what I love about sci-fi with just enough self-awareness to be endearing too. Does it feel a bit forced in places? Sure, all that fan-boy zeal has to. Did it detract from the story, or how much I liked reading it? Not a bit - it actually makes it more believable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Over-roasted and Quickly Stale, March 13, 2012
I'm all for eco-friendlier packaging, but this coffee goes bad the minute you open the package. Even the first pod out is a bit stale, and anyhow the flavor is terrible to begin with. Yuck!

It's too bitter (read: over-roasted), but a pinch of salt calms it down nicely, and it does have a good full flavor which, again, would be more noticeable if it weren't so burnt.

Not bad, and perfectly drinkable, but bland with no liqueur. Not as bitter as some Columbians I have had, but that, unfortunately, goes back to the 'bland' bit.

1.0 out of 5 stars Crap., June 11, 2011
The 'Chamber Maid' cleaning system is useless - it doesn't scrape the coffee loose, just clumps it up. The cord is too short to be useful, and also - what use is an 'auto-grind' feature if I still have to hold the button down? The grind quality's crap too. If I was allowed to rate this ZERO stars, I would.
