5.0 out of 5 stars I LIKE IT!, May 6, 2007
I liked this player so much that I bought another one for my father. A perfect link for HI-Def enthuiasts while they wait for the Blu-Ray/HD battle to be won.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, May 6, 2007
Bought 12 of these and the matching serving set. They have a good solid feel in your hand, a beautiful look, and an even better "mouth" feel.

HDMI is about digital info. These cables do it at least as well as those $100 cables.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work (As Advertised), March 11, 2007
It doesn't work with my system, as least not as advertised. It will automatically switch from my Samsung (HL-R4266W) TV to my Sony (DVP-NS75H) DVD player, but will NOT automatically switch back to my DirecTV (H-20) receiver. I'm very upset that I spent the money for what is essentially a manual switch.

CORRECTION: After some experimentation, it seems that the TV and DVD player lock-up the link. I'm not sure which is the culprit. It turns out that if I turn off the TV and the DVD Player for the time that it takes for the TV to totally power-off (thus severing the link) I can turn on the TV and DirecTV and everything is fine!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice, May 26, 2005
Very sturdy construction. Shipping/packaging left the mandoline's container cracked and one blade (handle) slightly damaged. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with its use and ease of cleanup. Use it and toss it into the dishwasher! All high quality stainless steel, and no worries about rust.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love IT!, May 22, 2005
I just love the Millennium series. You can't beat it for the price! I have the 12", two of the 10" and one of the 8". All have great cooking abilities. They heat quickly and (more importantly) evenly. Clean-up is a breeze with a (nonstick friendly) scouring pad. They probably don't recommend a dishwasher, but I've put them in mine repeatedly. You just want to make sure that nothing will impact the nonstick surface as the dishwasher does its thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbeatable!, May 22, 2005
The same as you see on many of the "Food Network" shows. It is very stable and heavy. Funny that a block of wood was one of the best packed items that I've ordered from Amazon (Cooking.com)! It's not something that you put away until you need it. Plan on leaving it out and using it all of the time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely, April 15, 2005
Absolutely the best potato ricer on the market. Don't use it just for that, use it to strain blanched spinach, etc. If you use it only for potatoes, don't bother chopping them. Just cut them in half and boil. When they are done, put them in the ricer, skin side up and let it do it's thing! Just potato, no skin....the ricer does all of the work!
