3.0 out of 5 stars I just didn't get this book, July 21, 2014
I've read other books by Bauval, whom I consider dry but very interesting about Egypt matters. This book just didn't seem to have a main thrust, at least to me.

The various recountings of geniuses tortured by the catholics did not seem to be woven together very clearly. The references to Hermes Trismegistus didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. The explanation of the Piazza of St Peter's seemed shallow. Even the last-minute additional discussion of the new pope Francis seemed lacking.

Just what was the point of this book? I really wanted to like it, I am fascinated by the uncovering of truth underneath "history" (mostly meaning a mass of lies).

The authors didn't go deeply enough. For an example of truly penetrative research, search these words: one-evil + holocaust + ucadia

Another fascinating section of the thousands of webpages offered free by Ucadia covers the Jesuit history. While stressing that the new Pope Francis, a Jesuit, is believed to be a good person, it seems the Jesuits generally have not been seen for what they really are. According to Ucadia: While technically monks, the Constitution of the Jesuit Order was unique in that it exempted priests from the cloistered rule (i.e. living in monasteries). Instead, Jesuit monks were to live "in the world". Only the Dominican Priests who were the chief torturers of the Inquisition and the Catholic Church at the time had anything like such freedoms.

However, the Jesuit Constitution from the very beginning went even further in that it permitted and even encouraged the priests not to wear the habit (traditional monk dress) so that they would "blend in" to the world. In 1572 the Jesuits were granted rights to deal in commerce and banking - a right that had not been granted to any religious order of the Catholic Church since the Knights Templars four hundred years earlier.

Using their unheralded powers, the Jesuits established a counter education movement to the Protestants, using their priceless access to the secret Vatican archives, the Jesuits dedicated themselves to manipulating every major stream of science and philosophy against the Protestant intellectuals, including subverting their secret societies.

The recruitment and promotion of Education had a secondary benefit for the Jesuits in that it ensured higher caliber recruits and made their services more attractive across the Catholic world. The Jesuits quickly became known as the Order dedicated to education excellence in Catholic countries, a perverse notion considering their original purpose for existence and structure was military.

No history book will tell you that the Jesuits founded and ran the Dutch East India Company, using their exclusive powers to conduct banking and commerce; this company - famous in history - was one of the most profitable companies of history thanks to its control of spices, slaves, drugs and plantations. The Jesuits only lost control in 1773 at the disbandment of the Order. In every country where the Jesuits were banned, in the past, they took their revenge decades, sometimes even centuries, later.

One example: Jesuits had first arrived in Nagasaki in 1549 and the atomic bombs dropped on Japan were payback for being expelled from Japan for over 200 years from 1639. The Jesuits never forgive and never forget. The Jesuits in Nagasaki were all German and Polish nuclear physicists and became locally famous for impossibly surviving the blast. What has never been admitted is that their rectory - close to ground zero and the only intact building remaining - was shielded. One of the Jesuits who survived Hiroshima became the Jesuit Superior General in 1965.

By 2008, the Jesuit Order, especially in the United States was a shell of its former brilliance. Over populated by blissfully nihilistic, barely competent, arrogant and undisciplined recruits, the once dominant United States faction had slid to a terminal point of complete irrelevance. It was at this time that Peter Hans Kolvenbach chose to resign from the office of Superior General to become a "visitor" - a role focused on the revival of the spiritual dimension of the Order.

The election of Pope Francis on March 14th 2013, the traditional "Day of Blood" and ancient birthday of Mithra [a god of human sacrifice] represents a further historic turning point for the Jesuits and the Catholic Church in the potential implementation of promised reforms of Vatican II and focus on personal responsibility.

1.0 out of 5 stars woman-hating minister with nothing funny to say, April 24, 2013
A whole book to tell women (he stresses most men are as likely to read a book on relationships as to welcome a rectal exam) that all of us (men and women) are different after marriage, that men and women are hardwired differently, marriage has a lot of "poo", there will be conflict, and marriage is hard work?

Throughout, Gungor (a minister) thickens his broth with references to a male God thrown into each chapter to imply Gungor knows what God requires. Example: "God loves us unconditionally but He DEMANDS a conditional relationship...God forgives us when we REPENT...The Bible is FULL of the conditions we must meet if we are to have a successful relationship with God - even though God loves us unconditionally." I assumed this was another of Gungor's ironies but no, he sees no contradictions whatsoever here. (I guess he didn't read Walsch's "What God Wants".)

She must be respectful (even though she doesn't feel respected) and she must be prepared to make life comfortable for him and let the man spend his time as he likes, even if it means less than 10% of active waking time is given to family. She must nag her husband because men must be asked more than once to do anything women want them to do around the house but she must NOT have "an attitude" even to her hundredth repetition because THAT would make it nagging to HIM. She must train him (like a dog?), learn to barter (like in a souk?), and so on.

She must understand that men do not appreciate women "working" on their marriages but SHE must nevertheless work both "hard" and "smart" on her marriage. She is just expecting far too much from her husband. There is a small section on abusive husbands but every story has the man begging for forgiveness (and presumably changing?)!

The overarching theme here is that WOMEN alone are responsible for keeping a marriage together, because "women are givers, men are takers"!

I guess some think it's necessary to get a few books out there exhorting women to stay in a bad marriage "because there will be conflict". No wonder far more women than men seek divorce (80% of all divorces are filed by women, as this book points out), even when the overwhelming majority end up poorer. Struggling through poverty is obviously preferably to the despair and frustration of continuing to live with all those men who just can't be bothered to try, claiming that their wives just don't make any sense. Of course many men (and women who need to please such men) then claim it's women's fault for not trying. Gungor states: "Jesus claimed the only reason divorce occurs is due to a HARD HEART."

Any relationship counselor knows that, by the time a couple go to counseling, the woman has usually given up and decided to leave. The man claims that it's a complete surprise to him, he didn't see it coming, he likes his marriage the way it is. The woman wearily reminds the man that she has told him hundreds of times about the very problems they then proceed to (pointlessly) rehash in front of the counselor. Men wait until their wives no longer care, then claim THEY are hurt and bewildered. Yup, let's laugh our way to better marriages.

Worse still, what does all this say about Gungor's utter disrespect for men, including himself?

1.0 out of 5 stars whitewash, July 19, 2012
While it is frequently retold that the Bulgarian government- allied with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy during WWII - chose not to deport some 50,000 Jews from Bulgaria to German death camps in Poland, it is not revealed that only certain bloodlines of Jews were protected. At exactly the same time, Bulgaria was also directly complicit in the murder of some 13,000 other Jews.

Sephardic historian, author and independent scholar, Shelomo Alfassa has documented how, during World War II, the Bulgarian government was complicit in the dispossession, torture and murder of thousands of Jews, and has also documented how the Bulgarian government continues to whitewash this fact. "The Bulgarian government continues to pompously promote the fact that they `saved' (did not deport) one group of Jews (50,000), while not disclosing the fact they indeed deported another group of Jews (13,000)," said Alfassa. "The latter group was sent to their deaths at Treblinka, a subject which is historically well documented."

"These 13,000 Jews (many were of Greek and Ottoman-Turkish descent), too often overlooked by history, suffered horrible deaths with the direct participation and knowledge of the Bulgarian government in their alliance and volunteer partnership with the Nazis," said Marcia Haddad Ikonomopoulos, President of the Association of Friends of Greek Jewry. "It is time for Bulgaria to set the record straight."

Little known is the wholesale identity-theft of real Jews - here and in Germany and other Nazi-occupied countries - who were deported, making it seem like a different group of Jews survived. Get the truth about Jewish identity from "DNA Science and the Jewish Bloodline" by Texe Marrs and from Frank O'Collins of Ucadia.

1.0 out of 5 stars cotton candy for the mind, March 31, 2012
I ended up scanning through this right after a luxuriating in a proper read of Kahneman's masterful "Thinking, Fast and Slow": what a contrast between the substance of Kahneman's book and the flimsiness here. I wondered if I'd been catapulted back to a self-help book from the 1980s - mostly built around an incorrect or incomplete theory - mainly hot air.

Peters introduces 3 parts of our brain: the emotional Chimp, the sensible and mature Human, and the Computer. The Chimp and Human often oppose each other and the Chimp can be dangerous and embarrassing. The book purports to provide tools to manage the Chimp - basically distractions or rewards. The author is a Dean at a provincial medical school in England. As he is also resident psychiatrist with professional cycling teams, presumably he has been experimenting on their cyclists with this theory. I note reviews here from cyclists who claim success, which I simply cannot believe, based on my extensive reading on emotions, motivation, success and happiness.

Some of the reviews claim this book can change your life. I disagree, based on hundreds of self-help books I have read over three decades and more; most bad, a few good (only those solidly based on research, like Kahneman's books). I cannot see how it would be possible for any advice in this book to work in the long term. There's no mention whatsoever of the reptilian part of our brain which hijacks most fight/flight/freeze situations whereas this book claims the Chimp brain is responsible. There's hardly any credit given to the vital contributions of the limbic ("Chimp") brain which is actually the seat of desire (aka motivation) and decision-making, neither of which is even hinted at in this book.

There's very short shrift given to the proven most helpful processes, which include changing how you think about the kinds of situations that repeatedly upset the Chimp and allowing your emotions to move freely (in private, of course) so that they can give you important information and achieve a resolution. Suppression and denial of thoughts and beliefs have been proven not to work - not only that, but things get worse when you try. According to (for example) "White Bears and Other Unwanted Thoughts: Suppression, Obsession, and the Psychology of Mental Control" by Daniel M. Wegner which is based on research, unlike the dangerous pop psychology in this Chimp book, deliberately trying to suppress unwanted thoughts will just ensure those thoughts will systematically persist.

Far better is "Bounce" by Matthew Syed, an English table tennis champion. Whilst Syed provides no new information, he has drawn together many relevant research threads on the psychology of success in an interesting and easy read. I also suggest McGonigal's "Maximum Willpower" (or "the Willpower Instinct" as it appears to have originally been called). The most effective process for clearing upsets permanently, by the way, is explained in "The Healing Code" by Loyd.

1.0 out of 5 stars some of the puppeteers are missing, February 15, 2012
This book, subtitled "unmasking the men who bankrupted the world" does no such thing.

At the end the authors correctly state: "People also felt that a great crime had been committed, yet there was not going to be a great punishment...Much of what took place...was immoral, unjust, craven, delusional behaviour..." Then incredibly they claim "but it wasn't criminal. The most clear-cut cases of corruption - the brokers who tricked people into bad mortgages, the Wall Street bankers who knowingly packaged bad mortgages - are in the shadows, cogs inside the wheels..."

Huh? They finger only those silly, young employees who were greedy but ignorant (and hired precisely for their credulity) for doing what they were told to do by their corrupt bosses, when those bosses were the ones who got the millions in bonuses? As an example, the book recounts how, in 2006, the head of the largest US mortgage lender, Countrywide, described one of his own mortgages as "the most dangerous product in existence and there can be nothing more toxic" but (of course) did nothing to replace it.

He ultimately left a bankrupt Countrywide after also pocketing over 150million from selling his stock at the peak - while year after year mortgage industry practices continued to get worse and worse. But, in the end, the authors blame only the mortgage brokers at the bottom of this food chain? No: follow the money - upwards.

Also, why no mention that the whole sorry story is totally psychopathic? While it is being admitted - mostly with a helpless shrug - that most corporations appear to be psychopathic, that's like blaming reckless driving on cars. The drivers controlling the vehicles are the law breakers.

Actually very few psychopaths are serial killers; in fact most are clever and appear charming, which confuses the rest of us, who've been trained to think of the likes of Al Bundy. Psychopaths are often highly charismatic, but their greedy actions reveal their chronic inability to feel guilt, remorse or even anxiety about negative consequences to others.

Search online for a fastcompany article "Is Your Boss a Psychopath?" just one of an increasing number of books and articles revealing big-name CEOs to be psychopaths. Psychopaths believe they are entitled to steal with impunity and feel only contempt for the moral majority but all theft is against your inherent and inalienable basic rights: we ALL have the right of full disclosure. No one may steal anything; not your money, not your livelihood, not your property, not your body, not your life.

"Freedom" by Veronica Chapman is an eye-opening primer on your basic rights. It may be possible (but unlikely) that no statutes were broken but it is certain that the basic law was consistently ignored. Mis-selling is a crime and no amount of smoke and mirrors can change that. Laws have clearly been broken, and massively. It is tragic to have to conclude that those at the top - of the financial sector, politics, and the military-industrial complex - are all part of a criminal cabal; psychopaths protected and rewarded by the puppeteers.

Shouldn't the spotlight - in a book subtitled "unmasking the men who bankrupted the world" - have been on those puppeteers? This book, and others like it, recounts the stories playing out on the stage, conveniently ignoring everything behind the scenes. Come to that, who was controlling the Bushistas, the CLInts, Obama ("change, now") and other figureheads? It's not difficult, just follow the money ... to the 10 richest "families" (many think of the Rothschild and Rockefeller families but even they are "bankers" for those with much more hidden wealth including the Vatican and the English "royal" family - which openly do not pay taxes). Then ask why these psychopaths are stealing even more trillions; malevolently trashing our planet and deliberately creating even more worldwide suffering.

It's more than time to pull their teeth, instead of letting these psychopaths continue to own and manipulate everything (politics/governments, finance/economy, war/terrorism, "health"care, drugs (legal and illegal), prostitution, energy resources, schooling, food supplies, news/entertainment, transportation, you name it) to our detriment while we practically worship them. A common thief goes to prison while these financial rapists are mostly glorified: the richer they are, the more adulation we give them.

How is it possible that psychopaths are estimated at 4 per cent of the population but overwhelmingly infest the top of all systems? Cooking recipes specify that scum needs to be skimmed as it rises to the top. How is the recipe for humanity any different?

We are seeing the end-game now - for them or for us, WE get to choose. They have the control, for now anyway, but we (the masses) have the power. Just say "no". It's more than time for change: real change, right change.

2.0 out of 5 stars upside down, December 20, 2011
I leafed more and more impatiently through nearly 400 pages of Wyllie flitting-around his adult experiences. There was little or no theme, no thread of challenges or mystery or depth of emotion that might have gripped the reader's interest. About as deep as it seemed able to go was "angels are not the saccharine visions of a mawkish past age" (true but merely a glancing reference to his earlier book). I found myself agreeing with the alleged summing up by the CIA of this author: He is a butterfly.

There were some studdings - mainly repetitious - of teachings from other books, mainly "Urantia": a 2000 page book purporting to reveal the true history of our world and of the universe which I read many years ago and discarded, as it seemed closer to some kind of technical manual than anything else. It did provide some of the troubled history of the angels including the (then little-known) information that rebel angels who sided with Lucifer were directly involved with a few dozen planets in this particular universe, with our earth "particularly struck by the rebel's obstinacy" the results being "clearly manifested in the deplorable conditions of the world".

Compared to the "Right Use of Will" (RUOW) series of books, "Urantia" appeared quite shallow and also hierarchical (a giveaway sign of reptilian thinking). By contrast, RUOW truly does unlock deep mysteries about the origins of Mother/God, angels (all manifested angels have been on the "other side" at one time or another), the universe, and our planet's history.

Finally, the real thrust of this book was revealed: shoved into the last 40 pages... in the Afterword and four Appendices. What an upside down offering. In the Afterword, which was the 20 page substance of the book, Wyllie queries the underlying intentions of the information revealed in "Urantia", since it was written from the point of view of the "administrators". He shares his suspicion that there was "a deeper and unrevealed purpose that lay behind the [angel's] rebellion".

Wyllie has also understood that rebel angels have been incarnating on our world as a path of personal redemption. He also thinks this is a way of strengthening their emotional bodies. However, he does not appear to be aware that emotions are feminine and magnetic. The emotional body can only be supported by finding acceptance and thereby being allowed the freedom to move and express - yes, all emotions, even those judged against as "negative", hold valuable information for us.

Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority - of even those dedicating much of their lives to true spiritual enhancement of this world - has consistently overlooked a glaring omission. Angels are almost always referred to as male and the female aspect is ignored (or referred to briefly as Divine Mother or the like). WHERE ARE THE FEMININE COUNTERPARTS OF THESE ANGELS? Until we start looking into this question, one that is shockingly disregarded, we remain in total denial about a major problem in creation. The only body of work that addresses the origins of the deep imbalance being reflected in this world is the RUOW series.

1.0 out of 5 stars coded metaphors, November 30, 2011
This work actually makes little or no sense unless you know the codes and the metaphors - and anyone who does isn't admitting it, not that I know of. Do you?

The Emerald Tablets and the Hermetica are entirely written in coded metaphors. For instance, God is the thesis or the creator, Kosmos the antithesis or the destroyer, and Space the synthesis between the first two or the preserver. They are a kind of metaphysical and dialectic version of topological triangulation. This is paralleled in the doctrine of the Trinity. Each vertex may also be described geometrically as a set of functions or their opposites. The Hermetica is really coded physics - and not the physics conventionally taught in our schools and universities but rather a hidden physics.

I myself have not learned much more than this very basic and simplistic code for a small part of the Hermetica. I also know there are at least 3 levels: the topological metaphor of the physical (deepest), the physics metaphor of the emergence of creation (less deep) and another physics metaphor of the astronomical machine of precession (least deep).

If anyone reading this knows more, or can direct us as to where to find more decoding, please add a comment to this review (there's a bit in Farrell's book "The Grid of the Gods").

Farrell's "Cosmic War" traces a cluster of names from ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt that are the same entity as (or very closely related to) Hermes-Thoth including: (An)Zu, Ninurta/Nimrod/Ninus/Enmer/Emerkar, Marduk/Merodach, Nergal, Baal/Osiris/Tammuz/Adonis/Dionysus/Bacchus, Enki/Ea/Eyah/Yahweh/Lucifer/Ra/Sungod/Lightbearer and even the Mason's Hiram Abiff. [Later note: Farrell's "Thrice Great Hermetica" provides even more insight into Hermetica.]

I would like to suggest, instead of Hermes, two of the greatest hermetic teachers in history: Thomas H Burgoyne's "The Light of Egypt: v. 1: The Science of the Soul and the Stars" - a great classic work of mystical enlightenment and Russell Walter's "A New Concept of the Universe". For those interested in truths, I also suggest Tsarion, a deep thinker of our time about ancient secrets, who shows (for example)how the Emerald Tablets actually refer to the tarot. Not in the variations the tarot is known of today, but its original form, involving a mixture of kabala, tarot, numerology and astrology, which he explains are sister disciplines. You can learn more about this (free) from Tsarion himself - there are hours and hours of Tsarion on youtube, mostly fascinating.

For much much more on the secrets of "pre"history than 99.99 per cent of us can possibly glean from this book, see Lana Cantrell's "Greatest Story Never Told" which is available free on the internet - verbose but amazing in parts. Also see Shannon Dorey's 3 books on the Nummo.

As for Jordan Maxwell's "The Brotherhood of the Illes" - another blow-your-mind book available free on the internet... and Santos Bonacci (starting with As Above so Below' (especially part 2) and with 'Sovereignty-Roman Law'... well you need to experience them for yourself. You may also benefit from Frank O'Collins' monumental body of work, available free from the Ucadia websites, the result of 26 years of work.

5.0 out of 5 stars fascinating - an inkling of our true history, November 4, 2011
Tsarion describes himself as a student of true history and has collected and put together an amazing story going back at least 15,000 years, apparently mainly by the use of etymology, which is the study of the history of words, their origins, and how their form and meaning have changed over time. He repeatedly points out that our real history has been deliberately manipulated and hidden by the vicious use of lies of many different kinds, like:

* Geographical - the deliberate positioning of events in locations far from the real ones

* Caricature - outlandish habits and fantastic activities claimed in the Bible, for example, that are patently improbable

* Etymological - words, terms, phrases and place-names underwent either subtle or drastic editing and transposition

* Renaming - the deliberate alteration of personal names. This device was used widely. Names of characters were simply changed so that their existence and activities would be impossible to confirm. Titles reported to be personal names - like David (means superior priest), Solomon, Joshua, Jesus, Aaron, etc - were actually titles, and vice versa.

* Invention - the introduction of peoples, tribes and events that never existed or happened

* Chronology - timelines are muddled on purpose, kinglists rearranged, the lifespan of individuals modified. Dates for key operations, such as building projects, battles, traversals, famines, coronations, marriages, births, and so on, are tampered with.

* Interpretation - wild, unrealistic interpretations are given to events and ideologies to flagrantly confound understanding

* Crypticism - the introduction of a welter of code words, terms and phrases that signify little to the layperson but that communicate secret meanings and intentions to the initiated reader.

Whilst I cannot accept everything he writes, for the most part Tsarion has done a superb job and his information is far more feasible than the incredible lies we have all been fed down the centuries. My deepest concern is that, although he is interested in the psychology of humankind, he does not seem to have thought much about how lucifer took the place of god, namely how it could have happened.

Tsarion believably explains that after the global catastrophe suffered by everyone on this world - a catastrophe that has been hidden because of the resulting psychic wounds that the rulers of this world have cruelly used against all of us - it would be quite reasonable for people to start to worship a sun that they had good reason to fear could suddenly just disappear. This doesn't adequately explain how sun worship could lead to global psychopathic control. I believe he would benefit from the study of Ceanne DeRohan's unique "Right Use of Will" series of books, addressing the places where we are not free, not only outwardly, but also where we have imprisoned ourselves inwardly. This profound series is about bringing true Heart balance between the polarities and inevitably goes into very dark, old places that most of us would do anything to avoid.

To get a taste before you buy, there are hours and hours of Tsarion available to listen to - free - by searching under his name within youtube; his books - currently three - are well worth while. First this "Atlantis" book, then "The Irish Origins of Civilization" Vol I and Vol II; followed by "Astro-Theology & Sidereal Mythology", all available via his website. [2012 note: now all available via kindle, including his latest books, "The Trees of Life" vols I and II. They all offer wonderful information; if even some of this stuff is true (and he backs up a great deal of what he writes), our true history is very different from what we are taught.

Related to this are Jordan Maxwell's "The Brotherhood of the Illes" - another blow-your-mind book available free on the internet... and Santos Bonacci (starting with As Above so Below' (especially part 2) and also his 'Sovereignty-Roman Law')... well you need to experience them for yourself. You may also benefit from Frank O'Collins' monumental body of work, available free from the Ucadia websites, the result of 26 years of work.

4.0 out of 5 stars a deep look at "pre"history, October 17, 2011
This book forms what I think of as a trilogy with "Cosmic War" and "Genes, Giants, Monsters and Men". In this book Farrell argues that there is a planetary-wide "Grid" of monumental buildings that was deliberately designed and built with great effort, that this Grid is fundamentally connected to the cosmological processes of creation, and that it affects consciousness itself.

He claims all these sites represent the enormous efforts - over millennia - of two elites (the bad lot do human sacrifice), following some horrific world-wide disaster (which he calls a Cosmic War) to preserve invaluable information - over further millennia - both of an integrated physics and of a worldview, so that it could eventually be recovered.

Farrell's investigations are profound and thorough, as usual. He draws together much overlooked research as well as subtle clues about the huge and prehistoric ruins found worldwide that he repeatedly calls a ruined machine sprawled across the globe.

He starts by addressing the unexpectedly much-bigger explosions than anticipated of the earliest hydrogen-bomb tests. He refers to suppressed material indicating these bombs can open hyper-dimensional gates. He links this to the megalithic and ancient structures, some actually built more than ten thousand years ago and sited on a systematic collection of points on the globe. These structures are related to each other by consistent mathematical and geometrical relationships. Together they form what he perceptively identifies as a Grid around the planet.

Much of the book looks at pyramids. These are actually found all over the planet. While some have only recently been discovered (for example in Bosnia) and others are mainly suppressed (the great pyramids in central China that astonishingly resemble the pyramids in Central America), Farrell focuses on the two best-known ones: at Giza, near the capital of Egypt (which he shows is the center of the Grid) and at Teotihuacan, near the capital of Mexico.

Their numerous similarities and links to each other are covered in interesting detail. He believes that the biggest pyramids at Giza and Teotihuacan are resonators of the fabric of space-time. He shows how the pyramid complexes can be tied to measurements of vast distances on this world as well as within the solar system, and even to the movements of galaxies, exhibiting an advanced ancient knowledge that equals or perhaps exceeds modern knowledge. The Grid is further linked to religion as well as ancient monetary policy and financial structures. The good elite worked out a beneficial money arrangement and the bloodthirsty bad lot forced a debt-based ponzi scheme on the world, as already covered in Farrell's "Babylon's Banksters".

The first third of the book was an easy and very interesting read. It gradually got more complex and difficult in the second part. I did not really understand the last third, which presumably is intended to be the culmination of the mass of evidence presented in this book. Another reason is that Part 3 is quite mathematical. Also, I suspect from Farrell's other books that I have read (and that I've also asked someone with either a mathematics or a physics higher degree to look through) that Farrell doesn't really understand the maths very well either. There was a sense of conflation and floundering in the explanations.

As Farrell himself states at the start, this book is "inherently and unavoidably technical and speculative". Farrell is a deep thinker and an excellent researcher, but I am not convinced he really understands his subject, even though his books show he has invested a good part of his life in investigating pyramids, hidden physics, advanced (Nazi) technology and much else that has been suppressed. Whether it is that he himself doesn't understand clearly enough, or that he is unable to explain it very well, or I just don't understand, there is plenty in this book that make it well worth a read anyway, like most of his books.

Even if, like me, you don't understand it all, there's plenty of food for thought. I would also suggest Wilcock's "The Source Field Investigations", an easier read that somehow ties in with the information in this book, as well as (if you've missed them) Hancock's earlier books like "Fingerprints of the Gods" and "The Message of the Sphinx".

1.0 out of 5 stars coded metaphors, November 8, 2010
