5.0 out of 5 stars These are the best sunflower seeds being sold today in my opinion., November 13, 2014

The best roasted sunflower seeds on the market hands down and a great value in the one pound size even when you figure in shipping. Not excessively salty or overcooked. Good quality control with few if any bad seeds or foreign material like stem pieces.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very bright for a full color RGB LED light, November 13, 2014

Length:: 1:07 Mins

Very bright for a full color RGB LED light. I used mine in a vintage rainlamp to replace the original 40 watt incandescent lamp it was designed for. It was a tight fit getting it between the nylon lines, but I got it in with a bit of care. It seems to be at least as bright if not a little brighter than a 40 watt lamp. You can see in the image that it has 12 light holes. They are occupied with 4 red, 4 blue, and 4 green LEDs in their own hole instead of the usual all one RGB individual LED. This causes some minor color mixing issues close to the light but blends out well around 8-12 inches from them. Only con I can see is there no option to change the speed of the color cycle modes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bright light but some issues with the solar panel mount design., October 11, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It produces a very bright blue-white light with sufficient well focused areal coverage. You definitely do not want to stare at it when on. Even though it is only rated at 900 lumens, the light is focused well enough to illuminate the desired area with about the same brightness as a 200W unidirectional incandescent light bulb. Adjusting the controls were fairly straight-forward, but I did need to play with the sensitivity and timer setting a bit before I got it just right. The light sensor range can be turned down so low it can come on even in full sunlight so be sure to set at least 1/4 of the way to avoid unintentionally wasting battery life. The IR sensor is quite sensitive as well so again don't set it too high or passing cars/trucks on the street can set it off. I live about 150 feet from train tracks and it was sensitive enough near the highest setting to be triggered by the passing engines.

Mounting was not as easy as it should have been due to the poorly designed mounting bracket for the solar panel. It is not possible to get a screwdriver into the screws as the solar panel was in the way not matter which way I oriented it. I needed to detach the back plate holding the ball joint in place running the risk of losing the small screws that held it in place when reattaching it. The back screws were also so tight that I was afraid I was going to break the solar panel while trying to use just enough force to loosen them. I took one star off of this otherwise excellent solar light for this design flaw. The mounting base needs to be wider to allow proper easy access to the screws/screw holes. The mount for the light itself is designed properly and was easy to install and remove from the light via thumbscrews.

The attached power cord on the solar panel was quite long increasing the flexibility for mounting locations for the light itself that might not otherwise have enough sun exposure. I was thinking it could also be used as an excellent emergency backup internal house lighting or providing lighting inside a storage shed/garage w/o power access.

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended, long range, reliable, September 6, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this router to help a friend with long rang wi-fi needs. This unit worked like a charm and has experienced no issues since it has been installed unlike the Amped Wireless router I tried previously. The range is excellent reaching at least 300 feet across the property with the router located inside a small building. Even small devices like smartphones have no issues getting a strong reliable connection.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended, September 6, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
A Very unreliable wifi router. I purchased this model to help a friend resolve long range signal issues on their property and save money. Not all wi-fi enabled devices could actually connect to the router. The ones that did. only worked for a few days before the router would stop pairing with them resulting in needing to fully reboot it. It's very inconvenient to have to do this so often. My online research of this model when trying to troubleshoot the cause confirmed the issues I was having are common. This a prime example of getting what you pay for. You would be better off with well known name brand routers that cost twice as much.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great TV with only some minor issues...., September 6, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is an amazing TV. It has some of the best color and black levels I have seen in any TV that I have owned. I originally saw this in a big box store whose name I will not mention and was sold on it right away that it was worth the asking price. Currently there is very limited availability of 4k content, however, Samsung has set up a very practical way of delivering that content now in the form of a hard drive they sell (free via a promotion that expired recently) as an accessory to this TV packed with a good sampling of movies and documentaries with the ability to download more content from their store. A new format of high capacity Bluray is nearly finalized and should be available soon next year. Until then, Samsung has an upscaler built in to the TV that does a bang up job of making 1080p content look much closer to 4k. Some 4k streaming content is available via Netflix and soon from Amazon Prime video if you have a fast enough connectiont to support it. Even without the specialised upscaling turned on, 1080p just looks way better when you have more pixels to display it on. For example I primarily use this as my main PC display. Because of UI scaling issues, it is not practical to set the video output to 4k except for watching 4k video, games that support 4k, and high resolution photos. I run my PC at 1080p with only the pixel scaler on to avoid excessive processing lag and find that 1080p looks so much better than it did on my previous native1080p monitor. I wanted to give this TV 5 stars, but there are a few negatives that could possibly be fixed with a firmware update if Samsung was willing. For example: The PIP function allows you to watch another video source or broadcast TV in the same window as either side by side or in a window overlay. This overlay has no option to scale the image displayed to match the source aspect ratio. If you only have standard definition TV available in 4:3 format, it will be stretched to 16:9 with no option to preserve the original aspect distorting the image. An oversight that I am sure that can be fixed in software. The picture and audio adjustment options are many, however, the menus can be difficult to navigate efficiently which seems to be an ongoing problem that runs in Samsung TVs. Sound quality is excellent and surpisingly full ranged for a flat panel TV, but expect some internal vibration with bass heavy audio. Of course the type of consumer who considered such a large high end TV will likely use their own audio equipment instead. The motion sensitive remote seems more of a gimmick with poor aiming accuracy. Fortunately Samsung includes a second standard remote if the user prefers it to the compact motion sensitive one. 3d implementation has both it's strong and weak points. The display is bright enough to ovecome the slight darkening from the active 3d glasses and the glasses are comfortable even over presciptions glasses. 3d depth control is only available for the 2d-3d similation. If you are playing a video file or streaming, this option is greyed out leaving the 3d image looking flat if you sit close enough to appreciate the 4k resolution. External sources of 3d from a Bluray player can overcome this limitation if you get a player that has 3d depth control built in. I can not yet comment on battery life, but the glasses do report the battery status to the TV and sometimes looks like the battery is low when pairing. The manual states this is normal behavior. Until I more extensively use the 3d feature, I will have a better idea what the real life expectancy will be. The TV did come with 4 sets of glasses so if only one person is using them, you have 4 sets of batteries included to postpone needing to buy more. The batteries are watch button type and while replacements are pricey, they can be bought fairly cheap here on Amazon. Bottom line, if you can afford this TV, it is worth the cost to be an early adopter in my opinion.

Edit 9-8-14: Finally took some time to test out the 3d using The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey 3d bluray. Unfortunately as is quite common with active 3d, crosstalk is an issue. Although it is minor, it is enough to be distracting and spoiling the overall effect. No amount of picture adjustment seemed to have an appreciable effect unless I was willing to put up with overly dark movie watching. I am a but surprised that Samsung has not yet perfected this feature. The refresh rate of the monitor is fast enough so I don't believe it is being caused by too slow a monitor refresh. The cause might be the glasses supplied not being able to completely block out light meant for the other eye. In hindsight, I think I should have stuck with passive for my 3d needs as my previous TV was. It had no crosstalk unless I was too far from center. Even on a 4k TV, no resolution is lost with passive. Each eye would get the full 1920X1080 in each frame.

While this did provide a great view of the road and traffic behind me, sadly the plastic rotted quickly and the mirror had snapped off in less than 6 months. Needs better grade of plastic or reinforcement where the arm connects to the mirror.

This does exactly what it describes. Reduces cloudiness due to algae and bacteria free floating the in water. The internal pump is a tad strong and needs adjustability beyond flow direction. No instructions included for some reason.

The blinds are exactly as described. I did take a star off for the really cheap screws that could not take the stress of being screwed in even with pre-drilled holes. Use better quality hardware if this manufacturer wants to earn 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect solution for small speaker mounting, February 23, 2014
This was the perfect solution for adding full range compact speakers to my video projection setup in my bedroom. Despite the light weight of the mounting bracket it feels quite study. The universal kit came will everything I needed to easily mount my speakers exactly where I needed them. The mount itself offers full a 360 degree tilt and turning radius for aiming your speakers perfectly. You can also remove the extending section that comes attached the mounting base if you want the speaker to sit closer to the wall or ceiling. I am tempted to pick up another one to change the bulkier mount I am currently using for my compact video projector.
