5.0 out of 5 stars Great cold weather glove/mittens, February 8, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've lived and run in some cold places (Russia, Canada), and have strong feelings about proper running attire. The nice thing about this product is the mitten wind covers; when you get started you're cold, so you need the mittens. But if you warm up or need to use your fingers (wrong tune on your mp3 player, grab your key, something like that), the mitten element can be stuffed unobtrusively into a pouch on the top of your glove. Good key pockets, and great reflective surfaces (had to hold up my hand last night so a car could see me, preventing probable I Didn't See The Runner accident). Good cuff on the wrists keeps the cold out too. Well recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast and easy set up, works like a dream, September 17, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Whereas a lot of tech products were designed by and made for Vulcans, this router was made for humans. The touch interface is intuitive and simple, and adding it to my home network took only minutes. No muss, no fuss.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for Bike and Pedestrian Commuting, August 12, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Be sure to watch their packing video on You Tube to get the full effect. I've used it by bike and by foot, and it's easy on the shoulder and pretty durable. Be sure to put it over your non-passing side shoulder when riding, otherwise the upper end can create a blind spot. Definitely recommended for anyone needing to combine bikes & suits.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great read for bibliophiles, January 18, 2013

Crisply written and likable read about where books and technology cross over by form and generation. Lots of fun, with some evocative passages.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fraying after two washes!, November 4, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Sadly, because I do like Pearl Izumi gear, I had to send these back after only two uses. The top band on both arms frayed after the second wash (no dryer use), suggesting the pair I bought may have been defective.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love, Friendship, Road Tripping, and Music, October 14, 2012
This review is from: Cadillac Couches (Kindle Edition)
Equal parts hilarious and touching, this road trip tale features two women on a quest involving music, shenanigans, and the big questions we all grapple with. This book is sheer delight.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Weak Product, January 8, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 17 Hours (Amazon Instant Video)
This purchase is simply not worth the expense. It is not even up to You Tube standards: no race course coverage, no compelling narrative, no sense of drama or intrigue. Money poorly spent in my case.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy This Product, February 7, 2010
I have used Tax Cut for years, but will soon be looking for a new tax program. This year's version of H&R Block At Home appears to have been rushed to market, as I have experienced a number of bugs, including an inability to eFile. What is worse, my attempts to solve these issues with the customer service arm of H&R Block have been both time consuming and profoundly frustrating. My suggestion: give this product a wide berth, find another program, and save yourself the money and the grief. Taxes are stressful enough without having to deal with a shoddy product and a company that does not seem to care about its clientele.

5.0 out of 5 stars Experimenting with Alt. (Country) Lifestyles?, November 6, 2005
This compilation is a wide-ranging portal into the world of alt. country. You know, country music, but without the cowboy hat and songs about the rodeo. Sweeping from Calexico, Uncle Tupelo, Los Lobos, and Nashville Skyline era Bob Dylan (is the Gypsy he's singing about Elvis? if so, the song is more than demonstrative of alt. country's roots), this sampler makes you unashamed to say, "I like alt. country, and I'm not ashamed." This volume stands up better than the first volume of Beyond Nashville, but either one will give you the opportunity to peer into another world of music.
