Ms. Dev once more brings Bollywood to the United States in a very moving and emotional story about choices made from fear and the need to . Sometimes the pain jumps of the page and into my heart keep secrets. Every character is vivid and the actions follows from choices made long ago in a logical and believable way .

4.0 out of 5 stars This is either the 9th book or the 14th book ..., March 15, 2016

This is either the 9th book or the 14th book in a series, it is 14 is you add the Alpha and Omega book as part of the series , and that is my only problem with this book Ms Briggs borrowed a scene form Cry wolf and reworked it into the context of this book Otherwise this has the feeling of a book that is setting up a series finale

3.0 out of 5 stars One good story but too much weird, February 10, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Faith Hunters' story was good. It was in the Jane Yellowrock universe but at a much earlier point on the time line. The story has some possible implications for Jane is it turns out to be canon.
The other stories range from bad to not quite unreadable. Way to many of them seemed to be taken from the middle of series and therefore seemed incomplete. Other tired and failed to mixed Lovecraftian element and old West themes

5.0 out of 5 stars A late review, January 31, 2016

This review is based on my most current rereading . This is a divergence from the Honor Harrington main stream novels. I think it was a wise choice on David Weber part and the story and characters are excellently done. I have been so invested in this series that I have no idea of how it would read as a stand alone novel but if you like Military science fiction i can not see this book disappointing you

you have to really be into the Cassandra Palmer universe to truly appreciate this book. I feel like this series has jumped the shark and I stopped reading it but i really like the character of Dory so when I saw that she was in I brought it. It did not satisfy me. I could not place it on the time line of the previous books Dory seemed to be less integrated as a person than the last time I read about her I did not like to see her character regress.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small wonder goes rogue, January 31, 2016

Imagine the robot from the late 80's television show "Small Wonder" being babysit by an amoral mathematical genius with a propensity for homicide being dropped into that Warehouse 13 episode where H. G Wells wanted to set off the Yellowstone super volcano and add in corporate espionage and a Luddite politician who may not be human and you have this novel. it is a great read I finished it and brought the next book as soon as possible

5.0 out of 5 stars An unique hero who I found addicitive, January 31, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is one of those" a woman lost her memories and has a superpower" stories . Ij this case rapid high level math skills. if i was going to write a one sentence review it would be the Math Squad meets Kills Bill. But the story is much more complex than that . You have a simple but unique opening that gets more complex page by page. I read it and brought the next book instantly

Diana's Hound (Bloodhounds #4)
Diana's Hound (Bloodhounds #4)
Price: $2.99

5.0 out of 5 stars best read in order, January 31, 2016
this is the 4th book in a series about chemically created werewolves in the post civil war west . The werewolves called blood hounds for unspecific reasons were designed to fight vampires who seem to live ( be undead?) in the Arizona Nevada region . Why they are there is a question wisely left unanswered . Why anyone would want to do anything about it is also left unanswered I mean if they are going to be vampires having them live in Arizona and Nevada seem like a good option \. Just don't build highway 66 give back the Gadsen purchases and don't worry about it . But no a guild was created by people back east and they went and invented bloodhounds. A nice farm wife got bitten by a rouge bloodhound and turned into one. She was protected and tutored by an inventor but alas the local vampires began overwhelming the community she was guarding and official bloodhounds were called in to help..After a little bashing of misogynistic thinking, much violence, sex ,and politic insured leading to a sweet HEA
