Far From Men (English Subtitled)
Far From Men (English Subtitled)
DVD
Price: $3.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding, October 24, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Really fantastic film, which surprises with the complexities of the identity of the main character, Daru, and puts you, through the characters, into the reality of the Algerian civil war. The music by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, as is always the case, establishes the right mood for this powerful film.

1.0 out of 5 stars to say nothing of the poor quality. I seldom write bad reviews, August 28, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Awful. Arrived in timely fashion, but mirror was detached from the frame, mainly because it was fastened with cheap staples, which could not even hold the mirror together through shipping, much less over time. What can you say about a product that costs $200 and falls apart before you even can get it up on the wall? Well, you can say: don't buy this. Also, it looks much nicer online than it does in reality. It's really quite cheap and tawdry looking, to say nothing of the poor quality. I seldom write bad reviews. This one is bad!

4.0 out of 5 stars Ignore the dolts on this one, July 2, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Enemy (Amazon Video)
It's not surprising that the moronic audiences give this film mostly one star. Most of them don't have the intelligence for a film like this an don't see film as art, they want simple plot lines and things that don't challenge their stupidity and dependence on Hollywood's brain-numbing effluvia. This film is for the educated and artistic audience, not the masses.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ideological distortion, June 12, 2012
A tendentious and distorted account of Locke's philosophy that a woefully inadequate Sewell as American history. A perfect example of how the hard left distorts liberalism in its self serving attempts to expand state power over all spheres of human freedom. America is John Locke's legacy .

1.0 out of 5 stars A tendentious ideological diatribe masking as sociology, May 21, 2012
This is yet another book by these two authors, who have hijacked distinguished sociological concepts and theories ( badly interpreted at that) to promote and their tendentious ideological attacks on United States. Instead of offering a theoretical conceptual overview of the rich field of human rights, the authors have embarked on a personal crusade against the US and deceive readers into thinking that the proper scope of the sociology of human rights is such attacks. This book is an example of everything that is wrong with so-called "public sociology" in the United States, makes no pretense to balance or educating students and others about the various perspectives and human rights and different approaches in the field. It may appeal to those on the far left whose object is to ideologically indoctrinate students rather than educate them. Serious scholars will find it seriously lacking in intellectual rigor and full of in accuracies and tendentious arguments.

Callaway 2011 Warbird X-Treme Stand Bag
Callaway 2011 Warbird X-Treme Stand Bag

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality, not in the least bit durable, June 25, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I hardly ever write negative feedback or return items, but this bag is a loser. I bought it one month ago and in that time, one of the zippers on the ball pouch just came off in my hand one day. Then, about one week later, the stand just broke off from where it is attached on the bag. This happened under normal use, after only about three weeks. The place where the stand attaches to the bag is made of cheap plastic and it simply broke off for no apparent reason and cannot be reattached so I have to return it. If you are looking for a bag that is durable this is not the one. Otherwise it is quite smart and attractive, but what good is a stand bag if the stand breaks off after one month? I'm surprised that Callaway would have such a bad quality item.

Oral-b Pro-health for Me Floss Picks Minty Breeze, 45 Count (Pack of 6)
Oral-b Pro-health for Me Floss Picks Minty Breeze, 45 Count (Pack of 6)

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid, they're flimsy!, June 20, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Absolutely the worst floss picks I have ever used. They look durable and of high quality, but they are ridiculously flimsy. About one out of three of these picks broke upon even the lightest contact with my teach, never mind using them for actual flossing. At times, I had to use four picks just to do a light floss. I never trash items unless they are trash, but I would definitely avoid these.

Orlimar Quarter Sized Ball Markers
Orlimar Quarter Sized Ball Markers
Price: $1.00 - $3.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap plastic, June 18, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
these 12 ball markers are $3.00. That's about 25 cents apiece, and they are just little pieces of cheap plastic, quarter size, but certainly way overpriced at .25 each. But if you are like me and constantly losing more expensive markers, go for these, because they work pretty well.
