2.0 out of 5 stars Not the best quality, January 17, 2016

There are 2 sliding switches on this thing. Both have a loose and very flimsy feel. The igniter button is at the bottom end. It's hard to press.
The instructions that came with it could be better. A full charge doesn't seem to last too long. But then again I'm not sure if the thing took a full charge. The instructions don't say and there's no indicator.
In short, it works, but I don't expect it to last too long.

5.0 out of 5 stars This one simply works and is an excellent value, December 8, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Pros:
* Very bright - not sure about 1200 lumen but it's plenty for night riding. But some of the light is wasted (see cons).
* Light weight - even if you count the light unit and the battery together, it's still pretty light considering the output that you get from it.
* Separate battery unit - means you can have an extra one for spare or just replace as they wear out.
* Extra accessories - extra rubber bands, extra extension cable, extra cable ties, head mounting strap, back blinker light.
* Price - pretty decent deal.
* Customer support - pretty responsive.

Cons:
* The light pattern is fixed and it's pretty wide. I suppose that's desirable for mountain biking in the woods. For city road biking not only that's a pretty serious waste of light (a lot of it is lost into the sky, yes, it's that broad of a pattern) but it may also be an annoyance to oncoming traffic.

This would be the perfect light, considering performance and price, if they were to make the light pattern adjustable, like in flashlights where you can adjust it by turning the front lens assembly.
I had to fabricate my own hood out of a plastic laundry detergent measuring cup. If you cut the bottom just right, it fits into one of the grooves and stays put. After spray painting it silver, one can't tell it's not part of the light. Would be a solid 5 star if they had included such a hood.

Update: originally I had given it 4 stars because in addition to the lack of a hood, I was having some issues with the charger and the ON/OFF switch. Don from Bright Eyes was very accommodating and fully resolved my issues. The superb customer service makes this a 5 star purchase.

uxcell® Univeral 82mm Center Pinch Front Lens Cap for DSLR Camera
uxcell® Univeral 82mm Center Pinch Front Lens Cap for DSLR Camera
Offered by A&R PHOTO VIDEO INC
Price: $5.99

4.0 out of 5 stars That's an excellent value. BTW, May 17, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The cap works as expected. It's decent in fit and finish, but I suspect that depends on the vendor that you chose. If not for the empty center, where a manufacturer logo would normally go, it could pass for an OEM part.
I got it from vendor Go Carol, out of HK, for only $2 shipped. That's an excellent value. BTW, I wouldn't pay the $7 that some vendors are asking.
Deducted one star due to the fact that the string that came with it is garbage. It's just a bare thin 12" black string, with no plastic fastener like shown in the picture. While there's a small hole in the cap to loop the string through, there's no way to secure the other end to the lens. I discarded it.

It works as expected,
It requires 2 hands to operate. I wish the spring that gives tension to the 2 grapplers was not that strong.
It supports an iPhone 6+ with the Apple silicone case. I'd say that's the limit. No bigger.

Very thin. Protects your gear against rubbing/scratches. Not much else.
Definitely not for checking into airline cargos.
But it was cheap.

Much better quality than the original cable from Apple.
I have been using it every night for 3 months now. It's still working great.
It is kind of stiff and bulky if you need to pack it for travel but if you need 6 ft, this is the one to get.

5.0 out of 5 stars Initial capacity checks out. Will update rating based on LSD-ness and how well they hold charge, March 3, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Currently, Amazon is selling charger and/or batteries in the same product listing. Makes the reviews confusing, to say the least.
I bought a set of 8 EBL 2800mAh batteries.

Upon receiving, I gave them a full discharge (at 350mA) followed by a full charge (at 700mA).
The pictures show the resulting voltage and capacity at the end of the charge cycle, while still in the charger.
As a baseline (to prove that my charger is still working correctly), I've also tested my trusty Eneloop batteries (identical conditions), which are rated at 2000mAh.

I've seen reviews claiming that these are not Low Self Discharge batteries, despite the manufacturers claims that they are LSD.
Less than 1 day after charging and without any use, the voltage had dropped to about 1.37V. But that's not totally unexpected, as NiMH batteries tend to do that. Their claim to fame is that they can hold 1.2V during heavy operation much longer than Alkalines.
I will have a chance to test how well it holds the charge and their LSD-ness soon and will update this review accordingly.

Update (Jan/09/2016):
- Confirmed these are not true LSD. They discharge much quicker than the Eneloop, which are true LSD.
Not sure if the manufacturer changed the description recently, but it says "Improved low self discharge makes it still maintain 75% of capacity after 3 year of non-use".
Technically, they could be right. I don't have an older version to say that these are not improved. And I don't plan to leave them unused for 3 years just to test the claims, but I offer some numbers below.
- I bought these batteries for their capacity. I used them in my DSLR camera, which is a power hog. I'm OK with having to charge them before each use (because I have multiple sets of batteries, if you don't you may be caught off guard by them being empty when you need them). The Eneloops didn't last an entire soccer game, most of the time. These will last the entire game, most of the time. That's an improvement, I suppose. I still have the problem that half way through, the camera displays a low battery sign, but they still work. I suppose that's a problem with my camera, even though I have this same problem with 2 different cameras.
- After soccer season was over, I put these batteries on a garbage duty. I have one of those sensor activated garbage cans that opens by a hand wave. It a low power, long term application, the exact opposite of the DSLR duty. Alkalines would last 4-6 months. These last 3, at most. It's clear that they fail due to self discharge, not power use.
- I recently put them in a full discharge/recharge cycle, similar to what I did when I first received them. At the end of the cycle, the average voltage (while still in the charger) was 1.46V (pretty much the same as new), but the capacity had dropped to an average of 2700 mAh.

In summary, buy them if you find them on sale or much cheaper than Eneloop XXX (the high capacity version). They work, but they are not LSD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied customer, February 25, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It works exactly as advertized. Except for one thing, which I don't know why they didn't advertise: this battery has a charge-through function. In other words, you can charge the battery pack (connected to a wall charger, not supplied) while it's charging your mobile device, simultaneously.
I have no way to validate the claims of 15.6 Ah. From my testing, it seems to be close to that number. I can recharge an iPhone 6+ (3 Ah) fully (starting from 4% battery left) and it only drops 1 LED light (25%). That seems to indicate that I can recharge 4 times, but I have not had the chance to confirm that yet.
It also charges my phone pretty quickly, similar to the Apple charger that came with the iPad, which is rated at 2.1 A, so their claims for the USB output seem to be accurate. I have tested charging an iPhone 6+ and an iPad Air simultaneously. It works fine.
It came with 2 USB cords for charging the power bank (don't know why). It's a very good quality cord. The USB connectors are tight and plug in with a positive feel. Better than the original Apple cord.
They could have saved on one cord and provided an integrated flashlight, like their other models do. That would have made me buy a few more of these to give as gifts to family and friends.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the price. Charge through doesn't work - see update, January 6, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It's too bad that I can't recommend the A3 charger.
Don't get me wrong... I like the metal suitcase design with a rubber bumper surrounding it. It seems sturdy enough.
The other features (2 USB ports, 4 LED power level indicator lights) aren't unique to Zendure. In fact most competitor chargers have those features and more. For example, there is one that even includes a very handy flashlight. Search on Amazon and you'll easily find it.
What is unique is the charge through feature: you (allegedly) can charge the A3 charger while it is charging whatever device you hook up to it. Unfortunately, that feature doesn't work. While charging (from the wall) the A3 charges your device for a few seconds and stops. If you hit the power button, it charges again for a few seconds and stops. Unplugging the A3 from the wall charger, it works fine and will top off your device.
I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and had Amazon replace the unit. When this same issue happened again with the replacement, I contacted Zendure customer support. They suggested a few things to try but when I reported the results back (didn't work, btw), they basically gave up on me and never even responded to my last email.
Searching the reviews, I see that I'm not alone. There are several reviews complaining about this "hit or miss" feature.
For the price (yes, there are much cheaper chargers out there, with better feature set and very good reviews; did I mention at much cheaper price point?), I expected at least decent customer support.
I just returned the second unit. Thanks Amazon for your hassle free return policy.

Update (May/2015):
Zendure confirmed that the entire batch of A3 had a defect related to the charge through function.
They pulled it out from Amazon and only relisted the A3 again recently. They sent me one from the new batch and I can confirm that it works now, and that's why I'm up-ing my review to 4 stars.
Deducted one start due to price being on the high side. I wish they had more features... an LED flash light would be an ideal additional function for something like this.
