4.0 out of 5 stars Just what i was looking for at the time, December 16, 2014

I got this as the perfect Halloween addition to my Harley Quinn costume and forgot to leave a review. The hat is exactly what i was looking for and the mask attached was a good touch, it seems to be in good condition still and i plan on using it for a comic convention. I suppose the only fault is the mask was a bit hard to get to stay on at times and drooped a bit but that's all.

5.0 out of 5 stars A new take on an old Classic, June 2, 2012
The first FMA series was and will always be considered classic with it's intelligent plot, moving character;s, and exciting plot twist. However many fans complained that it did not follow the original novel's and wanted that put into Anime form, and so you get the result: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This set consist of the first 13 episode's of the new series. These episode's while great are a bit fast paced For example the "Nina story" took two episode's to complete, in this it's only one. Also the end of the original's series's first season is in episode 10 on this. This is however proving to be a very good reboot of the first. The new opening "Again" by Japanese pop star Yui is amazing, the lyrics them self when translated are very moving and it' a great song for the first theme. The acting in the dub is as spectacular as ever. Vic Mignonia is back as the iconic lead Edward Elirc and prove's once again why he's one of Funimation's most used actor's. A new addition to the cast is Maxey White a girl who take's the role of Edward's younger brother Alphonse. Her acting style as Al is much different then Aaron ( who couldn't reprise sadly because his voice was to mature) but is still great and you get used to her. Everybody else seemed to return pretty much ( except Scar who's played by J Micheal Tatum) and are doing well. I would also like to say i'm happy they took Wendy Powell back as Envy she's absolutely a riot as usual! I would also say the pacing get's better after this volume so just bear with it if you hate the rushed pacing. This conclude's my review, and this is proving to be an amazing series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for any FMA fanatic, March 16, 2012

I must say i absolutely love this book. It has character bios( and is based on the 2003 anime version). It gives you a lot of detail about the characters, but doesn't exactly give the ending away. I think it's very good, and am planning on hanging up the poster it gives you in my room soon.I must say there's one detail of this that really freaked me out though. In Envy's profile it says he's a girl i literally couldn't stop laughing and was like "don't they know the characters a boy?" that kind of bothered me because i love him and wanted him to have a good profile. Other then that i thought it was great and any FMA fan should have this as a keepsake.

Fullmetal Alchemist The Movie - The Conqueror of Shamballa (Limited Edition)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie!, March 12, 2012
I absolutely loved Conqueror of Shamballa. It takes place after the series ends but in my opinion you can take it as part of the series or not, i took it more as a movie though. I don't want to say to much and give it away but i will say the plot revolves around Ed in Germany during the second world war, it's just interesting to see Ed in that time frame. Also a lot of characters in the actual series we love make an appearance as an "alternate" version in our world. The movie also made it's own opening and ending which i thought was very cool. Al is trying to find Ed after they got separated and is in his human form now ( and never looked better i might add). There's also some new characters, the main one being a young gypsy girl named Noah. The two disk special edition comes with a movie guide with some nice drawings and interviews in it, i haven't watched the documentary yet but i'm sure it's great to. I'd say this movie is worth while and any die hard FMA fan should have it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ending to the best show on earth!!!, March 1, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered this a while back( for my birthday i believe) but wanted to wait until i finished to write a review. This was an anime that has received so much attention and i'd heard about it so much i started watching it. Now some shows like Naruto are just overrated ( not trying to hate on i do actually like it)But with FMA it's not just about the action, it's about the story. The characters are very real, there emotions are extremely understandable and i have developed a bond with them. The second season shows more about Ed and Al, but it also goes more into Roy, Riza, Winry and and the homoculous,if it's misspelled i'm sorry. I think the homoculous are the most ingenious villains ever created, their evil and don't care for anyone but themselves, however the lives most of them lived before they died were awful. My personal favorites Envy! The ending of the series doesn't follow the manga as i'm sure most of you know but it does a fantastic job of creating an original ending and if you want the manga faithful series try FMA: Brotherhood(I haven't seen Brotherhood yet, i'm going to start it soon. If your wondering what's a good age to start this i'd say 13, 14 and up. This show's intense has a lot of scary, violent moments, and cursing. Also there are some parts that might make very religious people upset ( in one episode Roy says "there is no god"). I highly recommend this show you will not be dissapointed by it, and if you love it like i did Watch Brotherhood i heard it's good as well.I also have to add the acting in the English version is just amazing really they should win something for it! I hope I've been helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Host Club rocks!, April 13, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
A friend at school kept telling me about this show so i decided to watch it on the internet. I wound up loving the first two episodes so much that i bought this dvd! It's probably the best forty bucks I'll ever spend! The story of Ouran Highschool Host club is about a girl named Haruhi who stumbles upon the host club boys accidentally at the new prestigious school she's going to. She trips and breaks one of the expensive vases in the room and has to pay the club back buy working for them. It's a really hysterical show and probably my favorite anime. The characters go as such, Haruhi: a girl who thinks very highly of feminism and isn't afaid to dress up like a boy because she believes gender doesn't matter. Tamaki: the host clubs "prince" and is one of the funniest characters. He quickily develops a crush on haruhi and always tries to get her attention. The twins Hikaru and Karou: these two are the devil twins and live up to there title i love them. Kyoya: very dark savvy and doesn't do anything without getting something out of it,and always is writting something down when people are talking!. Honey:A 6year old who looks like he's 11 and acts like it and Mori is basically the quiet one who doesn't talk very much but is still funny. These are the main characters i hope this review was helpful and hope you'll be happy with you purchase!
