The author had a great idea. However, does not allow the reader an opportunity to appreciate her skill or talent. The story is expected to be short. However, the author is still required to provider a beginning, middle and an end. The reason someone such as myself spends one dollar is to find out whether I should read more by this author. Clearly, this author does not care about the reader or they would have taken the time to make it a complete appetizer.
The best thing about the book was the cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great IR Romance Story, January 24, 2012

This book deserves a sequel. The characters are well drawn. I truly began to care about Dawn and Evan. The characters reminded you of people you know or can easily want as a best friend. Everything that happens in the book occurs very naturally. Great writing skills and few editing errors. Cannot wait for the next installment or book by this author.

1.0 out of 5 stars Editor Wanted, January 24, 2012

This review is from: Royal Opposites (Kindle Edition)
This book had such great potential. However, the writers collectively let the reader's down. First we have a real life role model. There is a black woman who is married to a european prince who is in line to the throne. So the possibility of this occurring is truly real. Then why not take the time to research the TSA rules and how a bank works. Then do some homework on royal etiquette or protocol. The characters would easily lend themselves to at least three great sequels. Then we have a book which is not properly paginated. I will not quibble about the grammatical errors. The book cover I liked since the black woman depicted showed great self confidence. I so wanted to love this book since this genre of a black woman married to european royalty is truly underused. Last, this left me feeling like I did when the movie Queen of Sheba featured a white woman playing a black queen. Wondering when someone would truly appreciate a black woman's ability to be a queen. A good editor would have turned this Royal Opposites into an outstanding short story.

Love & Grief: Aubrey and Danele
Love & Grief: Aubrey and Danele

1.0 out of 5 stars Great Plot - Poor Execution, July 22, 2011

This book has a great cover. The plot theme about grief and love is major issue. However, the author did not take the time to craft a strong written structure. The constant grammatical and paragraph errors undermined the story line. You wished that the author did a grammar and spell check. While the writer may be talented enough to get it published clearly this book should not have been placed on any type of physical or virtual book sheld. I did completely read the entire book just to honor the effort it took to put this work on paper. The book is worth only one star which is being very generous. If the author really had applied herself it easily could have been with editing a real hit.

Really enjoyed the story. This was a cannot put down book with great characters. I did not mind the minor space errors or grammar. Frankly, this book would make a great movie. This was a great fluff read, that like a great desert was very addicting after just one page. This writer is just one book away from writing a best seller. Also, great cover and I can just hear the CELO sound track. Someone should mail this book to Tyler Perry or Oprah.

Gave the book a full five stars. Honestly, the plot was very genuine and the characters were enjoyable. Last, the cover was just terrific.
